We have been to Kona before and usually enjoy it but it was a busy Mother’s Day and we were in the booths next to the kitchen separated by glass half wall. It was so loud from kitchen noise we couldn’t have a conversation. Our server seemed very stressed and service was slow but we were ok with that because it was packed.

The food was good, not great and tended to be spicier than we would have liked. This was on Mother's Day and they ran out of traditional iced tea...no teabags, no tea. Since I never drink soda, I was left with the choice of water or flavored tea, which I do not like. Our server was great though, only his 4th day on the job and he was on top of things.

The food! It was sooooooo very good! The service was impeccable, fast, efficient, and unobtrusive . The noise level made it hard to have a conversation, not impossible, just a little noisy. The restaurant is lovely and comfortable, we will be back!

Always great service and food. It can be a little noisy, but it’s tolerable. Enjoy the ambiance and hustle/bustle of The Village!

We had to wait a while for the food, but after it arrived, it was excellent. Our waiter was superb and very attentive. We will most certainly return and try more of the intriguing menu.

For the third time in a row using this app to make a reservation we were shoved back in the “private dining room” which has next to no flare and attitude that Kona is well known for. It is a square overflow room that has a couple pictures on the wall. This was not due to overcrowding. Do they intentionally send open table reservations there? The favorite dishes we have so enjoyed in the past were gone. Overall it was an extremely disappointing dining experience. It will be a long time before we go back if ever.

3 of the 4 meals were good . . . one was overly spiced - could not eat it . . . the server should have advised how highly spiced it was . . .

When we first arrived it was freezing in the building and even my husband had to go get a jacket. Our server was amazing but when we got our bill we had to pay full price not happy hour. It did not say you had to be in the bar area. We’ve ate there a lot and this by far was not a good experience because we came during happy hour and thought we would get that pricing. We ordered a lot of drinks and food.

We waiting for the waiter/waitress too long . Your guys got some miscommunication and you got a lot of tables to choose to seat at that day. It didn't have many customers at all. But your receptionist said to us that you call for reservation then you have to sit what we arranged for you. It a kind of nuts. I intend to have a great Shuchi, but it turned out to be crap. Bone dry no sauce . Your chef have to be turned more. Very disappointed. I will not go again

We always have a good experience at Kona Grill. My fiancé and I shared a coconut shrimp roll and the basil pesto linguine. My only criticism would be that the basil/pesto was overpowered be the spice and pepper flakes that the basil was barely noticeable. Was still a tasty dish but needs a little improvement.

It was disappointing, actually. We usually like Kona Grill but this visit was decidedly underwhelming. The food took 40 minutes to come out and, when it did, the sushi portions were tiny and our hamburger was absolutely burnt. We sent it back and got a better one, but I was shocked that they served it at all, especially with no offer to comp the price of the burger considering the long wait and poorly cooked food.

Kona Grill offers a nice assortment of dishes and drinks during Happy Hour. Our party of four arrived with hearty appetites. We did not leave the restaurant hungry. Our waitress was friendly and had excellent recommendations for both food and drinks.
Our only challenge was that in order to order off of the Happy Hour menu, you have to be seated in the bar. Our table was sized for two people .. four if you are only having drinks. We had to juggle platters, cups, etc. But, our waitress was right on top of it and helped us by being readily available to take away empty platters.
We are definitely going back!

The red snapper was very good, as was the chicken and lettuce wraps. The flank steak was not acceptable. It was overcooked and so thin. It was a poor excuse for a steak.

The food was great, the portions large, prices reasonable, service very good.
However, it does get quite noisy in the restaurant and it does make conversation difficult at times.
The overall experience was very good.

Terrible service, no water refills and she hovered constantly asking if we were ready for a check, obviously wanting us to leave. Asked for a drink recommendation and the server said "Uh, I am only 19 so I wouldn't know." Another one of my friends ordered a drink and she said, "Oh that is a good one... I hear." If the food was any good it would have been better. Appetizers were bland and my steak was chewy and cooked incorrectly. Nice ambiance, but next time I will choose somewhere else to eat!

love Mona Grill. The sushi is always fantastic. Servers are great and the place is always clean. I love the giant fish tank. Be prepared for it to be really loud, its not conducive to an intimate evening and trying to hear the people you're talking to can be challenging as well.

The hostess was so extremely rude because this website is supposedly a third-party website to Kona Grill and does not except happy hour seating although your website does not state that. We were on a time crunch and the manager would not accommodate us sitting in the dining area. The waiter was extremely rude and As soon as our food came out we needed boxes and out check

Fun place, good selection of food, great service. I love spicy food but as a warning to those who are sensitive, when they say spicy, they mean it. I love the restaurant, but it is crazy loud in there on a Friday night. Totally expected that, but if you're looking for a place to have conversation without shouting, try going earlier in the day. I have never had anything on the menu there that I didn't totally love!

I've eaten at Kona Grill a few times in Phoenix, and I expected the experience in Meridian to be just as good. It wasn't. I ordered the lamb tagine, and the lamb was so over-cooked and dried out that it was inedible. I ate the carrots and the rice. Our waitress acted like her life depended on getting us in and out as fast as possible, and she kept interrupting us to ask if we were finished when it was obvious that all 4 of us were still eating. We just didn't enjoy ourselves.
