   Tasty, interesting fusion food. The Miso Cod I got was fresh and delicious, and the warm butter cake was a great end to the night. The Sake Flight had an interesting mix of sake to try, and I enjoyed all 3. Service was top notch as well.

   Slow waiter and kitchen service. Food was average and overpriced. They had a DJ playing music on the main dining room making the ambiance very noisy.

   Went for a Happy Hour and the energy was great. Food and drink items were excellent. Service superb, server was very attentive without being overbearing. We will return for some more fun in the near future.

   Rosa, server, was so rude! We are Kona regulars and have never been treated so rudely! Starting from the top, our server didn’t come to our table until we asked someone to find her (about 10/15 min). Then she was rude, short, and abrasive when taking our order. We ordered poke bowls, she said we couldn’t have all spring mix, only half rice half spring mix, which is not true. We had a couple items incorrect, but the worst part was how rude she was when she spoke to us. My husband and I were having a PRIVATE conversation about how horrible the service we were receiving was, another server that was apparently eavesdropping on our private said well were short staffed and doing the best we can with only 2 servers for the entire restaurant. Well this was untrue, as the manager said they had 3 servers but she was also taking orders and helping out, as well as there were multiple Kona staff on the floor. Also said server went to tell Rosa what she had heard as they stood there talking about us. My husband and I were taken a back by how she snapped at us for asking for drink refills and when I asked her to put my phone number in for rewards. Rosa also laughed and refused to have my kids sundaes have the ice cream and brownie on separate plates and said the kitchen was too busy to accommodate, which I persisted that they always do that, Rosa ROLLED her eyes at us and walked away (and lo and behold they were able to accommodate our request). When Rosa brought the check that didn’t reference my number had been put in. I asked her manager as she was close by how we know if the number was put in, and Rosa came over hostile and said why had we talked to her manager, I politely explained I was just checking as it wasn’t reflective on my receipt. She also didn’t break our $20 for a tip, instead we had to ask her manager and also for boxes too. Rosa came over before we left and threw a bag on the table. Terribly rude and disrespectful service. Definitely disappointed.

   The two host in front are the best ever!!! blonde lady and Latina girl with not one but two dimples are the sweetest ladies I’ve ever met that welcome you as soon as you come in. So kind. Give them both bonuses . Every restaurant needs people like them

    The waiter was great - I shared regarding a food allergy my daughter has and be went out of his way to make our experience exceptional - making food suggestions and ensuring we were comfortable. The manager even came over and thanked us for dining. Great experience!

    I had the seared sea bas sliders. They tasted great but the portion for the price was very disappointing. It was 1 sliver of fish on the roll. Literally 1 bite and I take small bites. I didn’t feel the value in that dish. I also had the crab crunch roll from the happy hour menu. That tasted good and was a good price for happy hour. The service was better than I normally receive. I believe the server’s name was Diane or Dianna. She did a great job!

    Get rid of the deejay played music so loud and with such poor quality of sound/speakers/bass settings and song choices that I couldn’t wait to grab my things and leave. Your food is good, your servers are good natured. But please leave the pounding dance music to the discos!! Music for dining: Subtle works best.

    Father’s Day 2022. Not too crowded at 11am and they were staffed accordingly. The dining area was big and tables were spaced appropriately. Wait staff was attentive except it went downhill once we ordered. They were slow in keeping our bottomless mimosas filled. There was no salt and pepper on the table and the toast/English muffins came out with no butter and no butter was added to the table. Overall I give them a 4 out of 5.

    Terrible terrible dining experience. Ordered a cocktail which hadn’t arrived by the time dinner showed. The original dinner I ordered off the menu was not available and I was told ten minutes after I ordered. The runner spilled grease from my meal on my shorts and stained them. I let the waiter know if the spill and he told me he would have the manager talk to us. The manager never came. It was one thing after the next, terrible experience. We will never return.

    I had had a previous negative experience and the manager offered to make it up to me with a complimentary round. Great. Then my girls showed up to the reservation. It took half an hour and three different servers before we even got drinks. At one point I waived the manager back over and he offered us a free round of shots and THAT took another 20 minutes to show up. I am not used to this at Kona Grill. 😕

    We always enjoy the salads at Kona Grill. The portions are generous, the dressing is plentiful and tasty, and the grilled chicken addition makes it a complete meal. Our service has always been prompt, attentive, and friendly.

    Very good food, wonderful ambience outside on the patio. We made it in time for happy hour,the choices were varied and delicious, and then had dinner. The salmon was exquisite! Perfect service as well.
