Kona Grill - Boca Park
Very inconsistent service. My entre came out after the three that there guests at my table we're newrly finished eating.
Happy Hour at the KONA Grill is great -- especially if you can eat outdoors. Good food, good prices and fun. Their main menu is great but certainly on the pricey, not everyday, side.
The new owners were sitting right next to us, so OF COURSE the service was better than it usually is. However, our server was Kayla and she always provides great service. I noticed everyone was on top of their game that night only because the owners were there. The food was good but definitely could’ve been better. They made changes to the happy hour menu again. They took a lot of items off the HH menu that I used to enjoy which is annoying. No consistency. I’ve been coming here for years and they don’t even give you a free birthday brownie anymore. I’ll come back but not as often as I used to.
We had a lovely leisurely lunch out on the patio. Our waiter was attentive but not overly so. We had salads and sushi and everything was fresh and delicious. I will definitely come back.
Kona, always an outstanding value! Highly recommend the cheeseburger sliders and the Korean beef tacos. And if you're a cheapskate like me, go during the happy hour and both of these are on the happy hour menu which is half price!
Our second time here did not disappoint. The food is excellent and the service attentive.
Food is great! A bit noisy, so a little hard to have a quiet conversation.
We are outdoors fabulous service bar close noise down and misters as well!
Happy hour until 7pm. :) $5 sushi and 1/2 off a variety of other yummy dishes.
Another excellent meal at kona Grill. I had the macadamian chicken and my wife had their Cuban sandwich.
Fantastic deals on Happy Hour Menu which is all day on Sundays. The only draw back is the restaurant is clearly understaffed and it really showed in less than optimal quality timely service.
Kona was really hopping this afternoon! Yet, as usual, there was absolutely no delay in getting our order or any lack of top quality in preparation! As with any restaurant, this points to great management and JC does an outstanding job at this. If you haven't been to Kona definitely give it a try especially during their unbelievably valued happy hour!
Great time and service
We had a great dinner with this visit. Excellent food, drinks, and service.
Kona never fails to satisfy! Always great food, cooked to perfection and no matter how busy they are, always timely service. One of the best managed restaurants I go to and we eat out often.
Well done Kona!!!
Had very high thoughts, but food was cold , was great.
Excellent visit and very good food. Service was excellent. Nice to see the manager actively working the room.
May be the best Happy Hour in Vegas! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa- hope that's fifty!!!!!!!!!
Appetizer was not what we were expecting and overall would not try it again. Entree was good. Service was quite good.
We went for Happy Hour. Good value for drinks and the Happy Hour food. Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll and the Rainbow Roll were what we had. We are not experienced sushi eaters but we enjoyed the Kona Grill food. We also ordered the Margherita flatbread which was average compared to the rolls. All in all, good value for the meal, quick service, parking can be a bit of walk and there are plenty of tvs if you go to watch a game. Enjoy. Salut.
Kona Grill has become one of our most favorite restaurants! The food is always made from scratch and fresh to order. Happy hour has phenomenal deals and so much to choose from! We’ve always had excellent service here. We love Kona Grill!
Food was well prepared and very tasty.
So disappointing. Kona Grill used to be one of the best in Vegas. Now one of the worst. Server forgot the silverware, forgot one of two appetizers, forgot to fill water glasses, food delivered late even when restaurant was slow, second appetizer finally delivered after entrees, staff (5 individuals) was having loud party (meeting) at the bar and ignoring customers and food was average at best.
I enjoy eating at Kona Grill for their Potstickers, Barbecue Pizza which you must add blue cheese to it! Also, the sushi rolls are fresh! Favorite is the California Roll!
Service was excellent. Food was good. Cocktails were very average.
The restaurant smelled so bad. There clearly is a sewer issue that they need to take care of. We got up and left because of the smell.
We went for Happy Hour, it was great. My only complaint is that the table wasn't big enough for all the food we ordered ! Great variety on the menu, small plates are wonderful, got to try several things and they were all delicious.
Great Sushi- servers were busy-
Our server Brittany was awesome! Food was delicious, service quick and ambiance calm for a weekday afternoon lunch. Highly recommend it!
Love kona grill but unfortunately ordered the potstickers which have metal in it! The manager compd the potstickers for us and a drink, but was surprised not the whole meal ...or maybe even give us a gift card for next time. It’s pretty serious when you have an object in your food. Staff was very friendly though and our server was amazing but wish they did a little more for us.
I think we caught this place on a bad night. The food was excellent, but the service was terrible. We got seated quickly and then waited. And waited. And waited. We were sitting next to the server booth and saw a dozen servers pass us by and ignore us. After 15 minutes of not even having water I asked a random server if someone was assigned to our table. A server manning a table of 20+ came over and took our order and did his best to take care of us, but he shouldn't have been the one responsible for our table as he had his hands full with a large party. We will go back as we hope this was a one time occurrence and the food was outstanding, but I hope management gets the servers better organized and makes sure all tables get proper coverage.
The food and ambiance was great! Unfortunately our server lacked customer service and professionalism. I would highly recommend the happy hour mojito and Las Vegas sushi roll.
Our waiter was overworked but polite and did his best to accommodate our needs. It was 15 minutes before we were approached at all by him, we were just about ready to walk, when he showed up and we accepted his apology.
Kona Grill is my new hangout. Love the happy hour prices. The food and drink are good quality.
Lovely fresh tasty food as usual. Always a pleasure!
The food was excellent and the kids menu was fantastic. So many different options!
Mitchell our server was very friendly and accommodating. The food was fresh AMD the drinks were excellent. Overall, our group was highy satisfied!! Thanks again Mitchell!
This was our first time and maybe we had bad luck, but it was quite disappointing. Our server was tired from working a late shift the night before, and we felt bad for her. We know it’s hard to focus when you’re super tired.
So first, she lost our order and came back to take it again. We then got our appetizers, which were tasty. The wave roll was pretty good. We kept waiting for our entree, and when the server finally came around, she told us someone deleted our entree order. So we ordered it again.
We specifically asked for no rice with our dish both times because we do not like turmeric. We finally get it and it’s quite disappointing taste wise plus we got the rice with it. We didn’t even eat it . Our server also forgot our drink order and offered us a comp dessert at one point. We were kind of done when it came time for dessert and we just asked for the check. Even though she told us she would offer us a discount for the issues, it didn’t happen.
Overall, it started good and it just went downhill after that. But we feel it’s more of a fluke vs an every day issue.
Great food and the entire staff was friendly and helpful.
Server was absolutely FANTASTIC in spite of the fact that it was Friday evening on a very crowded patio! She made sure everything was A ok!!! Food at Kona never disappoints. Server gets 5+ stars!!!!!
