Light Festival in Inner Harbor

Everyone had a great experience.

Food and service was horrible had to send almost everything back.

Food was ok. Had higher expectations for seafood dishes in the inner harbor restaurant scene. Companions seemed pleased with their meals

Food was delicious- we had the fondue, las vegas roll, yamada roll and the desserts were the best part! My carrot cake was the size of my face. The brownie was gi-normous!

Very good service and food was excellent.

The service was extremely slow and the waitress was rude. It took an hour and 30 minutes for her to bring my daughter a grilled cheese sandwich. This is the 3rd time I have dined there this year and although the food and ambience are good they are sorely lacking in the service.

Be aware when the restaurant is busy, your table may not be ready at the time of your reservation. We waited 45 minutes after we arrived for a table. The hostesses were not very helpful or understanding.

The ambience and the music was awesome. Me and my fiancee had a very eventful night.

Great food

Food was good, especially the kids meals. Had me wishing I ordered one because they were like sushi boxes. Otherwise, only ordered apps of calamari and lettuce wraps. The service left a little to be desired, but our waitress was also serving a large party. I blame who ever assigned multiple tables to a waitress handling a party of 20, when the restaurant wasn't crowded and there seemed to be plenty others available. The bar area was very nice with large fishtanks, would come back there minus my kids.

We were visiting Baltimore in family trip and Kona’s was a wonderful treat! Great service and as always amazing food.

The first table we sat at was covered in ants. We were moved to another table where this was not a problem and were provided an appetizer on the house. While this was a nice gesture, management nor our server asked our option for an appetizer only one in our group liked and ate the one provided. We were a group of 7 and about 1/2 of us were unhappy with our meals. The oriental salad was drenched in dressing leaving a pool of it at the bottom of the bowl. The steak was supposed to be medium well but was still red in the middle while the outside was burned. The sliders were also under cooked compared to the request. Overall our group was disappointed in our meal and our server certainty didn't help. She was attentive to some in the group and not to others. Some had their drinks refilled constantly and others, drinking the same thing, went without a refill the whole meal.

Four of us shared a pleasant lunch at Kona Grill. Selections included the macadamia nut chicken, an oriental salad with grilled salmon, and a Kona chopped salad. All were well prepared and tasty. Service was friendly and efficient.

We ate a Kona before the Jimmy Buffet concert - short walk to the arena. Super crowded but we had a reservation and were seated quickly. We really enjoued all the food - great sushi, pan seared tuna sliders that were as big as a regular burger and the cucumber wrapped noruto. Service was challenged by the full house but we finished with time to get to the concert. We will return.

We tried famous sushi selected in the menu as a restaurant choice, none of them was eatable: the instead of being spicy they were flaming hot, you could taste the cayenne paper in them.
The salmon in Philadelphia roll was uneatable at all.
Will not suggest this place.

I came to Kona for my 28th birthday and it was a great experience!!! The waitress I had was AWESOME!! Well versed in the menu which I love. She made excellent drink recommendations. The wait for the food was a little long, but other than that good time.

Great food and ambiance! Service was extra slow. We actually missed the first 5 minutes of our show because of it.

We were seated with our menus. A waiter came by and told us we needed to get up, as he had another party that was promised the table. We then were reseated by a very grumpy women. The sushi that I ordered was prepared with very heavy garlic. Garlic was not mentioned on the menu. My wife ordered a salad with chicken, which she was satisfied with. The dirty vodka that she ordered, was not a full glass. We will not be going back to this restaurant.

Nice variety of creative sushi/sashmi dishes. Also nice to be able to have a flight of sake before choosing a glass to order. Wait staff very attentive and friendly.

Appetizers and Sushi were better than the main dishes.

Drinks were great , food was eh ! Can get better for cheaper elsewhere. Waitress was great and did her best to be accommodating. I’d go again but it’s pricey !

Our waiter started out fine, but I believe he had too many tables so we had to get the manager to assist us. After that, our waiter didnt come to assist us again and the manager too forgot to refill our water and check on us The person who recommended thr restaurant , who also had spicy sushi, got up and refilled his own water. The waiter ended up seeing this and watched in disbelief. Yet, it didnt prompt him to check on us. I myself got up and got the soy sauce after asking 2 other times. It was very disappointing because this place isnt cheap and aesthetically pleasing. At the end, the manager comped my daughter's dessert after we had to physically grab the waiter to get our check. Based on how the manager handled things, it is clear they all lack training and maybe dont have sufficent staff. I will not go to this franchise again.

Sushi was delicious! Waiter was attentive but restaurant was super busy and loud. But it was Friday night! Glad it's getting great business, it's the perfect location. We had awesome sushi rolls - the "Picasso" was my fave - complete with a jalapeno wheel, cilantro leaf and a dollop of hot chili sauce. Yum!

Our waitress was great. She was prompt and routinely checked to make sure we were doing fine. The problem was with the kitchen. We ordered an appetizer and four sushi rolls. The rolls took an extremely long time and when they did arrive, it was only three of our four rolls. When they did finally bring out the last roll, after we had finished all of our other food and had been waiting for 10-15 minutes. It was made incorrectly. We tried waiting longer for them to fix it, but unfortunately we ran out of time and were in the restaurant far longer than expected. They took it off our bill, but it was still disappointing. Again, our waitress was great, but we left disappointed with Kona Grill and I do not think we will be returning.

I brought my Fiancé there for a date. The restaurant was nice and the food great. The server was pleasant. The evening was great, ... UNTIL we were seated behind a HUGE WALL and which blocked our view from the rest of the restaurant. We had no view of the beautiful aquariums or the flow of the restaurant, just the sushi bar and the wall.

The lettuce wraps were to die for though. I'd go back just for those!!

Got sushi (yellowtail sashimi with ponzu and some nigiri) and was very pleased with the quality and value. The restaurant is very convenient if you are at a convention and don't want the usual convention food. Plenty of variety, even if you aren't a sushi person. One of my tablemates got the cuban and reported that it was very good as well. Service was good, but the restaurant runs a bit noisy, especially at the lunch rush.

Our experience was fantastic. Server was friendly, sincere but not intrusive. The food was delicious and flavorful. Great Manhattan cocktail. Loved the vibe in there too! lots of energy!

Service was slow and there was only one sushi chef which meant that our salad and poke bowl took over 45 minutes to get to our table. Food was ok.

we had a great time, staff was friendly, drinks were cold, sushi was great, the main courses we had ordered turned out very tasty and nice portions aswell .
we had 1 out of six that was not completely satisfied with there meal (it was a steak and thought it was over cooked) didn't complain.
the desserts we had were crazy big (like we had been warned) and vey good! (finished them up the next day!)

enjoyed it over all, i would recommend it and would love to come back the next time i am in town!!

They were very nice and accomodating! We were 45 minutes late for our reservation because our show ran over and even though we were late and there was a wait, they still honored our reservation and seated us as quickly as possible. The food was great, although the service is a little slow. However, we were a group in no rush to leave so we were ok with the service being a little slow. This is the second time we have been there and both times the service was slow. The sushi is great and very fresh! The sushi order does arrive quickly, so the slow service has to do more with the kitchen than anything. We will still go back again!
