The service was perfect and the food was delicious. Their gluten free options were limited but really good.
Must try the passion fruit creme brûlée

The food is pretty good, but our service was terrible, and the restaurant wasn't busy. We had 13 people for Easter lunch, half were kids. We had dirty plates on the table from lunch all the way through desert. People came by many times to bring food, but never cleared dirty dishes. Staff was milling about, chatting with each other, and not paying any attention to the condition of our table. The deserts were also ridiculously huge. Meal portions were fine, but the deserts made us cringe at how big they were. Maybe that appeals to some glutinous sugar-crazed Americans, but we found it absurd.

The only things we enjoyed were the appetizer and the sushi. Our entrees were not very good at all. The place was dark and kinda gloomy but our waitress was great. Come here for the avocado egg rolls and have dinner somewhere else.

The only thing, I wish that I could have changed is how LOUD the people were near us. It was very hard to carry on a conversation with the entire table because of the noises over all.

CELEBRATED A FRIENDS BIRTHDAY WITH A LUNCH FOR THREE AT KONA GRILL. WE SELECTED KONA GRILL BECAUSE THEY HAD A BAR AND SUSHI. IT WAS DELICIOUS. THE SUSHI WAS FRESH. WE WERE IMPRESSED WITH THE MENU BECAUSE IT OFFERS EXCELLENT CHOICES FOR FOLKS THAT DON'T EAT SUSHI. JOEY, OUR SERVER WAS FANTASTIC. WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN.

I have gone to Kong multiple times- I brought a friend who has never been there and the food was horrible-
I had the pull pork sliders-the sweet potatoes fries were burnt and my pork with too sweet and dry. Her jambalaya was so hot (spicy) she returned it. It burned her lips. The waiter told us he took a bite in the kitchen and too spicy ! Who does that!! and then tell us! He didn’t charge her for that.
She got the hamburger and it was dried out. Very disappointed!
I was embarrassed I took her there- Won’t go back

Excellent food, as always. But, the real star for us was our server, Pam! She was very helpful and so friendly. She's the best server that we've had there and hope to have her again!

The food was amazing. The Voodoo Roll has so many different layers of flavor. Hands down my new favorite place to have sushi. The staff was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back to enjoy this wonderful place.

The server seemed very green. Brought iced tea instead of coke and gluten free soy instead of regular. Then brought our bill but it wasn’t showing what we owed and took forever to flag him down. The sushi was mediocre at best and I ordered the restaurant specialties. My husband enjoyed his macadamia nut chicken. Overall, not worth the price.

Went with a group of friends to try the happy hour drinks and apps. There really isn't anything bad about this location. Service was great but food was okay. I've had better sushi is all I'm saying. This would be the perfect place to take someone who is new to the sushi scene.

Service was great our servers were very friendly and on top of things! The manager was pretty great with accommodating a larger party. The only thing that I will say is that the hostesses that were there are not very welcoming.

I Made reservations for New Year’s eve when I got to the counter no one knew of my reservation even though I showed them my confirmation number from round table no one acted like they care they were not even aware of a New Year’s eve reservation however I chose to stay and order drinks and food we were overlooked and when I say we I met my guest and I were overload and served nasty cocktails out of dirty cups I walked out and did not pay for anything I would never pay for this kind of service and what is the point of making a reservation for Kona Grill employees to not even recognize and acknowledge it. Kona grill sent me the email asking for me to reserve and bring in the nye with them. I’ll come the staff was not aware of that I was told that they close at 11 PM and there was no such thing going on

We are sushi snobs- and this was a good place! Greeted by friendly host, decor, vibe, energy were all very inviting. A full bar is available if your table isn’t ready. We had basic appetizers of potstickers and miso soup. The rolls were excellent, and my hamachi sashimi was very nice. I didn’t give 5 stars because the portion was smaller than the norm. Otherwise the food and ambience was great- a bit pricey- $230 for four people (including cocktails). Would definitely go again and recommend.

Always used to get the Chicken pesto pasta. Many times in fact over the years...so now they remove from menu. I get the cheeseburger sliders. Ask for well done. One was perfect. One was extremely red barely cooked......service was slow yet they were not overly busy
They did make good on the burger and the sushi enjoyed by my spouse was good

I was really pleased with Kona Grill at the Domain, in Austin. The food was very fresh, we had sushi. The atmosphere was nice. It was a little bit noisy.. but not too bad. Service was great. We got seated fast. I made a reservation but we didn't need it. It was the evening before Thanksgiving, so it probably is more crowded on a different day. Parking can be a little challenging at the Domain. I didn't have an issue though. Great evening. Loved the Picasso Roll.

Our waiter was amazing, the food was great, first time eating at Kona but probably my last time due to poor management and poor bartender knowledge. I arrived with two friends and sat by the bar, me and my friends noticed a clearly drunk gentleman staring at my friends, other ladies and myself. A table next to us complained about the gentlemen but no quick action was taken. Then the gentleman approached our table and would not leave until finally told to leave by my friend. We told our waiter and he quickly apologized and said the manager was taking care of it but we looked and he was just standing in the kitchen. Our waiter left and the gentleman approached us again and was persistently asking if he can buy us drinks, it took my friend going up to the manager herself to get the man kicked out.

The bartenders should have realized the man was clearly intoxicated and not served him.

The manager should have responded as soon as the first table complained.

Other than that great food.
