Such a let down for spending $350. Our party of 8 was crammed into a corner with other tables practically on top of us - servers literally could not get to our table and put the plate in front of us / had to have us pass plates to one another. Service was very slow. 2 entrees came out. Ten minutes later, our appetizer came. Another ten minutes and 5 other entrees came and then finally the last entree. Took 30-40 minutes for all plates to come to the table. 1st person finished food well before last person got their plate. The food in general was small portions and the price is quite high. Small portion should mean small prices. Also, the ac vent on the ceiling above me was dripping. On me. On the table. Likely in my food - made me sick to my stomach. I would’ve said something but by the time I realize, I had scarfed down my dry soy sauce-less sushi - I asked for soy twice but it never came. Was too hungry to wait. HUGE LET DOWN! We were celebrating a birthday too and I really thought this would be the perfect place. Ugh!!!! Not worth it!

Thank you @KonaGrill Avalon/Alpharetta❤️ Everyone was hospitality, from the hostess to the Manager. Our waiter Sebastiao was superb. As a pescatarian all of the food recommendations was spot on and tasted great.

Bella our server was super attentive and great with all her suggestions. We got the KG sliders, Jalapeño Yellowtail Sashimi, and meatballs as our appetizers and they all were great choices! I got the surf and turf wagyu steak and it was my best choice! The vibes were immaculate and food even better. Will def be back. Thanks Kona Grill!

The steak was made improperly and we all know a steak has one chance, My girlfriend loved her steak. The drinks were all weak. My server treated us like a neglected child, but the manager was nice and kept up his concern.

Let me start by saying—my experience at Kona Grill was top-tier from the moment I got turned around trying to find the place. I called for help and the staff was so kind and patient walking me through directions. That level of customer service goes such a long way. When I finally arrived, I was greeted with the warmest welcome! The ambiance and decor were super cute—chic, modern, and perfect for a girls’ day out or a classy dinner vibe. Our waiter was incredible—extremely knowledgeable, especially when it came to the cocktail menu. He could break down every ingredient like a mixology pro, and he went above and beyond to make sure one of my guests, who has a severe peanut allergy, was safe. He double-checked every dish and offered peanut-free modifications, which we genuinely appreciated. As a pescatarian, I usually feel limited at restaurants with just two or three seafood options. But not here! I had plenty to choose from, and every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Whether you're planning a date night, birthday dinner, or just want to unwind post-shopping with your girls—Kona Grill definitely delivers.

Ordered two sandwiches for a light dinner. Chicken sandwich included a single chicken tender. Both sandwiches overprices for the portion size and quality. It was a very busy night at Avalon and the restaurant was especially loud because of it's proximity to the common area.

We enjoyed our trip up to Alpharetta to try Kona and loved it! The favorites were the jalapeño yellowtail sashimi, meatballs and the butter cake. The Midtown Manhattan was also a great drink to end the night with. Would definitely go back to enjoy the large outdoor patio and watch a game at the bar.

I spent the evening at Kona Grill in Alpharetta and it was such a vibe—perfect for date night, catching up with the girls, or treating yourself to a solo night out. I ordered the lemon garlic chicken (a must-try), and the shrimp tempura roll was fresh and flavorful. Presentation was beautiful—very Instagram-worthy if you’re into that (and let’s be real, I am).
