About Kokkari Estiatorio
Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields. Its fertile soil and Mediterranean climate translated into an abundance of fresh produce as well as treasured seafood and game. Legend tells that Kokkari is the site where Orion, a mighty hunter and a young man of gigantic stature and great beauty, fell in love with the daughter of the king of Chios. For the love of her, Orion forged the island for wild game and seafood to prepare elaborate banquets in celebration of their love. Today, we hope you will enjoy your own celebration as you dine at Kokkari Estiatorio on food “fit for the Gods” prepared with an Aegean palate and the style of innovative California fare.

Kokkari Estiatorio Ratings and Reviews
The food was good. We asked to substitute spinach with potatoes but didn't happen. The seats in the hallway were extremely uncomfortable and bouncy! The Motel 6 mattress should be better than that. The seats just reined the dinner. The only best past was the great hostess. It is a lovely Resturant too bad the Management does not repair the problem.
It was a lovely experience. The host was very accommodating and attentive. I was 1/2 hour early and instead of having me wait at the bar for my guest he sat me at a table . Most busy restaurants won’t do that. Dinner service was excellent. Waiter was very attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent as always.
Perfect evening for us and another couple. Cuisine is innovative, perfectly seasoned, interesting. Bronzini grilled to perfection, moist, flavorful, easy to eat. Ribeye is best in the City (largest?). Service is Michelin 3 star, attentive but not intrusive. Ambiance warm and inviting. Perfect location for any occasion.
