Koi Restaurant and Lounge Ratings and Reviews
The dinner was amazing. Great service and great food. The only thing I was turned off by was in the bar I ordered a drink (on the rocks). They already charged more than most bars do for the same drink but get this...
THEY CHARGED $2.00 FOR “ON THE ROCKS”!!! Now they’re charging for ICE??!! Ridiculous
Get over yourself KOI.
We went to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. I thought it was great. The wait staff was very attentive. The atmosphere, service and food were so good but my mom was overwhelmed. I would say that this is a great holiday and trendy restaurant but not for older folks.
Quite possibly the worst service we have ever had. Each of us has worked in the service industry, we paid our dues, we know how hard it is. But this was unacceptable. The food cake out at all different times by different people, we waited 25 minutes for our server to come back around to take our drink order. She never came back over to ask if we wanted another round, and one of our meals never came out and we were still charged for it. This was on a non-busy Tuesday night. I would hate to see what the service is like in peak time. The food was excellent and very expensive, but for that price you would expect to be treated to better service. Will not be going back and will tell everyone to eat anywhere else.
We had a great time at Koi. The food was amazingly delicious with unique flavors that made us want to come back. The ambiance was quiet, romantic, and just about everything we wanted on our date night.
The pricing is a tad expensive, but we used a Groupon and received excellent service from the friendly and attentive staff.
We picked the Koi as a place to dine before a show because it was located near the theater, had a unique menu, and had good recommendations. We were not disappointed. Our server helped us pick dishes (I like spicy and my wife does not). The service was great and we enjoyed the ambiance.
We started with sushi lobster roll - excellent cream sauce. I had tiger prawns with asparagus and mushrooms on the side which were very savory. Also recommend their take on Jameson and ginger cocktail. Very busy and vibrant atmosphere with very attentive and friendly service.
We enjoyed our meal for sure! He ordered sushi- spicy tuna and one other that I can't remember. He enjoyed both. I had the filet and it too was amazing. Cooked just as I asked. The service though, like the other reviews was not very good. Waiter was nice and answered our questions, made suggestions as we requested regarding sake, however once we placed our order, we NEVER saw him again until we asked for the bill. The assistant did a great job keeping our waters filled. We actually ordered more food through him instead of our actual waiter. The ambiance was nice and it wasn't that crowded. We were sat at our reservation time and the food did come out fairly quick. I would go back to eat here- I thought the food was that great!
We had the crispy rock shrimp, diver scallops, miso black cod, Sunrise roll and Gelena roll. Everything was delicious!! If I went back I would opt for the appetizers and entrees over the rolls - the rolls were good but the others were to die for. Service was top notch!
