Great Japanese restaurant with a Sushi bar and very attentive service. I was there at lunch time and it was very busy but the staff handled it well. The tables are very close to each other so if you prefer a more private conversation I would recommend a booth or a table in the center.
Fun great spot for a party or gathering .. hard to chat but easy to eat top level and very expensive Japanese cuisine . If you are a devotee of sushi eat at the sushi bar to be guided by the chefs otherwise just lean back and watch the chic crowd
Koi is always delicious and reliable. I went twice during this work trip with large parties both times. The food and service was excellent. This restaurant is extremely efficient and consistent. Also, they are pleasant about accommodating changes - the first evening, we increased our party by one. Second evening we decreased by one. Both times was no issues and hostess was very nice. Highly recommend - go here for great sushi and also the more trendy Japanese dishes!
Waited 40min without any excuse. Received plates 2 min after having ordered (means that plates were prepared long time ago), etc.
Definitely not a trendy NYC restaurant
Waitress was non existent. Saw her twice the entire time. So frustrating.
Everything was A1!!!!!
Terrific food and staff - sea bass was cooked to perfection! Cool venue, too!!
Food was very good. Menu was varied and had gluten-free options.
It was good
Impeccable meal, service and presentation. A complete pleasure from beginning to end. Wish we could dine here every week!
Service and food is always impeccable. Staff is very knowledgeable on specials and very professional.
Such a pleasurable experience. Even had a chance to meet Rex the manager who made sure
Our experience exceeded my tables expectation. I definitely will be back!
Get the edamame dumplings. So yummy. I also loved the Sea Bass.
Reading all the reviews and looking at pictures, I thought it would be a great dinner for my friends and myself. The place is nice, not crowded, nice interior.
Food is very expensive, but it’s not worth it at all. For example, sushi at Nobu is much better quality. Sushi has lots of rice and was falling apart which really not cost $26 per roll. We had braised short ribs and they were very dry. We ordered mashed potatoes thinking it would be a good side dish, but can’t say it was something good. The only thing that was okay were drinks and salads. We won’t come back here, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. I have no idea how this restaurant can have so man positive reviews. If you are willing to spend $400 for 4 ppl, you can est at nobu or Cipriani, or mr chow for this money.
Great service and amazing food! Beautiful place
Amazing ambience. Poor-average sushi. Nothing special with the food. Overpriced. But fun/lively environment. Good for dates/drinks.
Food was exceptional! Waitress made great recommendations. Great atmosphere.
I went with my two girlfriends and we had amazing time
The food so amazing and flavorful. Marchella gave the best and most engaging service. She made recommendations that did not disappoint every meal is consistently perfect and the flavor is subtle yet excites every taste bud.
Highly recommend Koi
Great Food and Service, but portions are surprisingly small for the price.
Koi Bryant Park is my go-to when I'm in NYC. I always pop in at least once with my friends and colleagues. Our server, Marchella (excuse the spelling) is always so kind, attentive, friendly and sharp. There isn't a thing on the menu we haven't tried or loved. If you haven't been, get this on your 2018 list now :)
Had a great dinner. Love the crunchy rice with spicy tuna. And the lobster tacos. Also had a fabulous molten chocolate cake dessert with toasted marshmallow ice cream! Yum! Service was great. Attentive and they didn’t rush us. I would recommend it!
Such a fantastic meal. The kobe wagyu carpaccio, salmon carpaccio and the crispy rice were the stand-outs. Also really enjoyed the lobster tacos, miso bronzed black cod and the kobe style potstickers.
This is the second time we have been to Koi. Food is well prepared and creative. Lots of great appetizers and the sushi roll with lobster was delish. Not one bad dish, kind of pricey though.
Koi came highly recommended from a NYC-Regular friend. We scheduled a 5:30 seating which gave plenty of time to walk to our 8pm Broadway show. The food was spectacular and fun to share as a "family style" meal. The service from online reservation through Open Menu to after-meal check was wonderful. I would highly recommend Koi for a romantic evening, date night in the city or even a business dinner for good clients.
This was one of the best dining experiences we've had in NY. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. A bit pricey but worth every dime! Will definitely go back.
Great ambiance, busy place, well located. Menu was varied and interesting. We enjoyed the sushi rolls. In the small plates the cooked rice with tuna was delicious. Short ribs and the miso cod were also excellent. Would recommend the machi in all flavors as dessert. Excellent evening and would go back.
Stopped in for after theater dinner. Place was packed when we arrived but they had our table waiting; crowd thinned noticeably after 9:30pm. Really great room with good atmo and views of Bryant Park. We had mostly small plates, rolls etc which was perfect. One dish was late and we were full so thought about cancelling; manager came to our table to apologize and comped us for one of you appetizers. Very nice extra touch.
Great service and delicious food!!
Food was terrific. Service great. Dinner for 2, 2 drinks, 2 beers = $200. Not worth the money. Find somewhere less expensive.
