The food was great. The decor is a little dated and dark. We were sat very close together so not as comfortable as some other restaurants. Tons of food
Second Time we have Chosen Kobi Steak House for Our Anniversary.......Never disappointed......The staff is always Polite and Obliging....Food is outstanding.....The Only Negative I have is Very Small....I Noticed the size of the picture cake was reduced to half it's original size, but Still $12.00......And Tastes Horrible....Great For Pictures and Memories...But I would not suggest Eating it.......LOL..........EVerything else about this Restaurant is Top Notch !!!!!
Love to come here, the food is just so well prepared and the ambiance is cozy, but festive. Every time I come back, I always wonder why it took so long to return...I've no excuse, but will try to make up for it by going more regularly.
Food was cooked perfectly, chef and wait staff were outstanding! Will definitely go back for more!!
I live in Fort Worth so it is a long way to go to eat at Kobe Steaks. Love this place.
Good food and good service. Somewhat overpriced but a nice meal
Enjoyed the food very much. Fresh ingredients and seasoned to taste. The price of our dinner was great. Will definitely be back.
Everything was great and on point. We really enjoyed ourselves.
It was our first time to Kobe to celebrate a birthday in our family.
Everything was outstanding!
I hadn't been to Kobe in a while, and I feel like an idiot. Kobe's service, food quality, serving size, everything, it's all worth every penny. Will definitely opt here instead of other places in the future.
Went for a birthday. Great experience.. been going there for like 30 years. Best Japanese hibachi in town for sure.
Really disappointing experience as I had high expectations based on the reviews. I hope it was just an off night. Two issues: 1.Poor service. Had to make 4 requests for a bottle of sake we ordered to be delivered and then received the wrong bottle. Decided to just drink rather than wait another 30 minutes. Cook was rude in how he answered questions asked by people sitting next to us. Didn’t seem like he wanted to be there.
2. Beef, seafood and chicken were all of good quality and well cooked but so poorly seasoned to the point you had to cover it in sauce.
With the quality steakhouses nearby I can’t see myself going back nor could I recommend it.
Enjoyed a birthday date night with amazing service and delicious food. Love the hibachi experience
Kobe steakhouse is by far one of the best steak houses in the country. We’ve been going to Kobe’s since 1987 and we’ve never had anything but exceptional food and service.
While paying the bill our waitress hovered. While providing the tip she also stood at our table and watched as we were deciding. When we just simply handed it to her because she lacked class she then confronted us on how she wanted a larger tip. Very loudly I might add. Now I wish we would have tipped zero for this experience. We will not be returning. It was actually my birthday but they did not know. If you are not planning to tip 40% I would not take your family nor business associates to Kobe!
Hello, First of all, I’ll like to offer our sincerest apologies for this unfortunate experience. This kind of behavior is definitely not tolerated nor it should be. We’ll be conducting an internal investigation as to what happened that night. Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to make up for your experience with us. Again, we are very sorry.
I love Kobe Steak house its always been my Birthday restaurant. However this night the service was terrible! I took my kids and the chef did a poor boring show and the waitress was in a rush and ask if we wanted ice cream as if its not part of the meal. Service is declining! So sad!
Hello Jessica, I’d like to start by thanking you for choosing Kobe Steaks as your birthday celebration spot for many years. We are very sorry that you had a less than perfect experience this time. Please let just know if we can make this up to you in any way. Thank you so much for this valuable input – we will use it to grow and continue to perfect our service.
It was our 26th wedding anniversary
It was just OK. It felt like any other Japanese steakhouse but with a much higher price tag.
Great experience and great service
We’ve been coming to Kobe’s for almost 30 years. It’s our favorite special place!!
Great food. A little expensive but a good experience.
Celebrated my daughter’s 10th birthday which was great. I only wish there would have been more of a “show” in the preparation of food (for my daughter’s sake). Apart from that, great service, great portion sizes, food was delicious and they were very accommodating. A little On the pricier side, but perfect for a special occasion.
Have been going to Kobe Steaks for 30 years. Always great.
We went for a family dinner celebrating a birthday and had such a great experience! The ambiance was terrific, as was the service and the food.... delicious!!! It was just an all around wonderful experience and meal. The food is SO good that you have to pace yourself not to leave feeling overstuffed, but that's honestly a-okay. It's just a great place to go.
Awful. Took way too long between food items so it ended up being cold by the time you got everything. One woman who was sat at our table was extremely upset and demanded a refund. Not a overall pleasant experience.
Definitely will recommend for the whole family !!!!
Chef did not cook side items same time as main entree. He served main entree first and sides came afterwards. My date go her salmon first and later her steak, then the sides after that. He was not as talented as previous chefs.
Kobe’s is always amazing food and the atmosphere is great
Having been to several other teppan grills, I can't say this one is above and beyond the others. The chef show was average, not great, not bad, not funny, but I've had several other dinners at teppan grills with far better shows. My date got the shrimp, scallop, and lobster, and I got the filet in spicy sauce and added lobster. While the cost was of no concern, comparing to other teppan grills, the price is high as the food was a bit bland by comparison and I've had better at other teppan grills for a little less. Food portions were great, and they gave us 3 shrimp each just as an appetizer, which we hardly ate the veggies, half the rice, skipped dessert, and both had carry out. Would not recommend this place for a first date. While the crowd noise was not loud, the vents were loud and we had a hard time hearing, so we ended up going to the lounge area immediately after paying just so we could talk and hear each other in a casual conversation. Good for family and friends or maybe after several dates, but not a first or second date trying to get to know someone better during dinner. Overall I give it a 4 star due to the average chef show and the food a bit bland by comparison with other teppan grills; certainly nothing bad, but there was nothing to rave about in a review either...
the place is dirty and the feeling is not of a japan clean like place it feels dirty and unsanitary
It was my wife and I’s anniversary and I had not stated that when I booked the reservation. When we got there we were seated with the general public but I noticed that there were some private rooms available. I politely asked the manager if we could use one of the rooms and he immediately said yes and we were seated there. Then after dinner the staff served us ice cream and sang happy anniversary in Japanese. Awesome experience.
Excellent food great portions good prices the staff was very friendly and the chef was awesome
The food is always delicious and it’s a fun dining experience.
Great service and food. Thanks for keeping the food light, and not using a ton of oil like most of these restaurants do. However please take the olive and cheese from your salad, it works against my favorite ginger dressing.
We’ve been going for years and they’re always amazing! Food taste great, staff is amazing! Atmosphere is relaxing and experience great 👍🏽
This is a Japanese Steakhouse the way it is intended. The flavor and quality was impeccable.
Had a surprise Birthday for my sister here. About 25-30 people. Called a day before just to confirm the reservation and spoke to Alex. He was in a hurry to get off the phone plus was really rude. He slammed the phone in my ear when I was still speaking.
Still took my sister here because it’s one of her favorites. Food was ok bill was around 350$ for 6 people including kids no alcohol.
The cooks come out did their thing. They really did everything as fast as possible. Keep in mind this was a Tuesday night. Shouldn’t have been that busy.
Room we were in was so cold it was hard for us to eat. It was extremely cold and I’m never cold!
For the 350$ spent it wasn’t a good experience. I know I would have gone to so many other places and actually enjoyed my money spent.
I was surprised they could not do substitutions. The only appetizer selection, included as part of the meal, was shrimp. Although I enjoy shrimp, I have friends who have shellfish allergies and my dinner guests cannot eat shrimp.
It was a great experience. The chief was very skilled and fun. Highly recommended!!
