Great restaurant with great food and excellent service. The teriyaki chicken and shrimp were delicious. Try the Kobe special drink at the bar.
Great chow, awesome chef, and fast. Not sure why people cry about the noise as it’s expected given the environment. Worth the price. Lobster was mad good.
Great service fast and friendly
I loved the chef and server! I had a great dining experience! You
It was my daughters 17th birthday and my husbands 37th birthday we had a great dinner
My favorite restaurant in Palm Springs. Always delicious.
we waited about 15 minutes before a waitress appeared and she didn't bring part of our order and the cook was barely doing his job.....we like the cook's banter and there was none of that...disappointing for our grandchildren!
Had a wonderful experience at Kobe. When we arrived for our reservation the hostesses let us know immediately that they were running behind schedule and offered us to sit in the lounge while we waited. Alejandro at the bar was very personable and friendly, he initiated conversation and poured some fierce cocktails to hold us. When we were seated the hostess and hostess manager were super friendly and upbeat. Florida our server was diligent in refilling our drinks and our chef Alex was humorous and professional. We enjoy Kobes for our special occassions!
Good food but service was a bit slow. Portions are generous. Very loud so don’t plan on any intimate conversations but the “show “ is good so not a lot of talking is needed!
The taste became not so good. Very oily and too salty. Used be much simpler and lighter taste but our Cheff put so much butter, salt, etc. Not taste like Japanese food any more (I am a Japanese). We used to love to go there a lot but may not return. Too bad because this was a fun restaurant w family.
We love Japanese steakhouses, so we were excited to try this one. The valet parking was a nice option and we always take advantage of that service when available. One thing, the cook was amateur in his 'fun' style with the customers. Just kept saying "whooo" constantly. No 'egg roll' or 'Choo Choo train' or 'volcano', just whoooooo. Weird, but we will return regardless of the odd chef's interaction.
Way too pricey.
I loved Mike's joke's and kind words to everyone at our table! It was Christmas eve and my birthday was on Christmas so we brought our son & his wife and our grandson with us there and we were visiting from San Diego area there! Great food great FUN! Thanks the Sanders Family!
Always a good time. The food is delicious and the service is great.
Everyone was very nice. The food was excellent! Haka our cook was hilarious. The place is very pretty and the pond of fish outside is very cool
Very good great food very nice service
The food was delicious. The only thing that disappointed me is that when we booked on Open Table, we were asked if we were celebrating anything. We said that it was our anniversary.
It was not acknowledged by the restaurant at all.
The food was excellent. Our entire family loves fried rice and $4.50 additional to have fried rice is excessive! For the three of us we paid an additional $13.50! This should be included with the dinner that was priced high as well. Chef was excellent but cocktail server was not. Everyone at our table had to go to the bar several times to get their own drinks because they were tired of waiting. I mentioned that it was my son's birthday when I made the reservation and they brought him a piece of cheesecake and left it in front of him--no "happy birthday song"! :-(
Always a fun place to go ...
Visit Kobe if you are ready for teppanyaki and feel like dining with new "friends" around a large iron cooking surface. Entre options are numerous and Kobe makes a special effort to prepare sides such as fried rice-- mild, spicy or with garlic, as you prefer. The proteins are beautifully presented before they are prepared before you. The sashimi menu, while limited, was very fresh for our visit---we were at Kobe's on a Sunday evening and the sashimi was terrific. Bar service is timely throughout the meal, and the carnival-like atmosphere is entertaining for children and adults alike. A very nice venue for a birthday or anniversary celebration.
Food was good. Noise was unbearable and unacceptable
We have been to many Kobe steak houses over the years. It is always entertaining. However, this time we were almost smoked out. 2 of our party had smoke blowing in their faces the whole time the grill was on. They hadn't been before and I'm not sure they would try again.
After all these years, we finally decided to try KOBE. It was not at all what we expected. The overall meals were over priced for what you got. And NO KOBE beef!!!
Really enjoyed our meal. 2nd time there in a week. and we'll tell our friends and go more as we love it.
Everybody tries their best to make your evening a pleasant one.
Took our friends for the first time and they really enjoyed the meal and surroundings.
I was disappointed in the quality of food, especially with the amount of money they charge. It was the worst Japanese Steakhouse that I have ever eaten. The food was almost burnt and flavorless, even with all the soy sauce added to it. I don’t know what kind of shrimp sauce that was because it was watery and taste like wasabi. I have been to Japanese Steakhouses from FL to CA and I have never had shrimp or ginger sauce like that. Overall, it was a huge disappointment and I will never return.
Made our 25th wedding anniversary very special. Amazing ambiance enhanced by waitresses in Japanese attire. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Most tender beef I've ever eaten!
Service and food was really great. We were a party of 4, they sat us in an odd place next to a party of 1 when there was enough space to sit together. Other than that, great experience.
Had a great time at Kobe’s tonight with my girlfriend and close friends! Looking forward to the next time we come here again.
Very unhappy couple!! the food was tasteless, rushed and all thrown together and we were celebrating a special occasion they sat us with a party of 14 and they were so drunk and loud ! We spent a lot of money to not be happy with the high end restaurant. we will not be returning! Disappointed ☹️
The reservation was not ready for us when we arrived and we were required to wait for 1/2 hour for our table. And they were completely unapologetic. Once we were finally seated, everything was great.
Too much salt!!
Healthy dining requires a better approach to how they can make the food taste as good with less salt especially here in the Desert where so many seniors already suffer high blood pressure etc!
Otherwise great value! Good drinks too!
I absolutely love this restaurant. I have been going to Kobe's Steak House since 1992. Food is outstanding ... And the service is great too! Even though I moved from the Coachella Valley , I still continue to make the drive from Riverside at least twice a year for my anniversary and birthday .!
Such a hidden gem! We went early with our kid and there’s an early bird special. So much fun and a true hidden gem!
Steak and prawns were awesome! The chef was really funny. It was quite noisy but we had fun.
Kone’s Is as good as it was 30 years ago. And that is saying something. Took our daughter there for her birthday. We were seated at exactly the time of our reservation. The chef was very entertaining. The food was exceptional! Especially the shrimp and prawns. Just had a wonderful evening. Won’t wait so long to go back!
Girlfriends birthday. Servers and chef were all interactive and made it a rememberable experience. Food was fantastic!
If you like the Teppan dining experience, this one is an excellent choice. The only challenge is that it can be too loud for any decent conversation during dinner. JFood was delicious as always and very, very plentiful. This time we were seated early which was a lucky break since we tried unsuccessfully to get an earlier reservation.
