Kobe's is the best. Just keep in mind to keep having the chef's do tricks. Thank you.
I use to work across the street and came here for work functions and we always had a grand time. Decided to take my bf here on our date night and we’ve made it to come here at least once a month. My favorite is the Manhattan on the Teppanyaki menu, but this last time I got the ribeye medium rare and my bf got the seared tuna and a sashimi plate to share. Everything was amazing and the show was an added plus. We love it!
We had a bday party at Kobe's. The food was good but the service was poor. The front hostess was rude and not very friendly, although the front bartender was friendly. Our chef at the teppen table was disappointing. We always look forward to a bit of a show from the chef. Ours, Dennis, was way too quiet, no action nos spatula twirling, or much of anything, I would definitely not choose him. He was polite but...
It’s so worth the drive from Los Angeles! The food is always good and so is the service. We never have to wait long after reserved time. And my daughter loves it, she wanted to go for her 10th birthday!
We always enjoy a night at Kobe. It's always a positive experience for all of our celebrations.
The live music was awesome, the food not so much!
Clean and perfect ambiance for conversation and food experience ;-)
Food and prices in regular dining area are much more reasonable than pricey teppan
The chef made our birthday boy feel very special.
Great food and teppan experience was entertaining.
Went for my birthday be Benihana was booked and you guys didn’t disappoint! Delicious food and great service. We will definitely be back in the near future. Don’t think I can wait a whole year ;)
My son and I had an awesome night. Everything was great. We are definitely going back.
My birthday was lit!!! To sum it up!!
Food was delicious, service was great!
Excellent and delicious as ALWAYS. Our family tradition fir ever occasion now and always.
waitress, cook and bartender on the night we went all outstanding! Personable, happy to be there, attentive, great group
Went for my sister birthday and had a blast. Staff and chefs are friendly and fun. Food is great. Make sure you make a reservation!
The food was great, the chef put on a great show, but the service was not. The waitress didn't come by to fill up our waters or ask if we needed anything.
I dine out at least 3 times a week. I never take the time to complain unless really bad. This was pretty bad experience. We showed up 20 minutes early and they said great we will have table soon. Our table was more than an hour later and nobody said anything until I asked. The staff seemed confused. We were given a free appetizer which was fair quality at best. The restaurant is tired, outdated and not real clean. Manager on duty was trying hard and was even wrapping silverware. I assume because of labor shortage.
This was for my Birthday and I always go to Benihana's but I was told this was as nice. It was not close. Pretty disappointing.
Did have to wait to be seated half an hour after getting there for a 7:00 reservation. Restaurant and staff were primarily focused on a large business like party and getting them situated. Lack of communication with hosts and guests not part of that party was obvious, with my party and other parties that came in.
Delicious food got the the emperor A5 wagyu and it was delicious
Once again, we had a great Bday celebration at Kobe’s. Love coming here.
We have dined at Kobe many, many times and this visit made us rethink our patronage. After being seated twenty minutes after our reservation time, we waited another ten minutes before a server came. We ordered drinks and our food for the replan. My husband had enough time to make a 20 minute round trip journey to pick up our daughter, and get back right as the drinks came. The chef at the replan table was lack luster, missed serving rice to a person in our party, went and got more, but it was not the same. The same chef also missed chicken for another person, went and got more, but it came out dry and unseasoned, as he rushed the cooking by covering it with a bow to speed up the process. Overall, the food lacked its normal flavor and was just salty. There was very little interaction as he was cooking and this birthday celebration was an overall disappointing experience.
We were seated over 30 min after out reservation and they forgot to make my food at the tepenaki table. The food was ok but I was very disappointed in the overall experience.
We made a reservation for 8:00 PM and they obviously overbooked. We did not get seated until 8:40 PM and they made no apologies and offered nothing complimentary to offset the wait. The restaurant was dirty; scraps of food on the floor and the tile was sticky. When we were finally seated, the server did his best to take our order but it took another 20 minutes to get our drinks. To make a bad situation worse, they started to do "close cleaning" on the grills next to us while we were still dining! The strong, foul odor of cleaning products was overwhelming. Will we come back? Never. Not even for free!
Horrible wait time even with a reservation. Lip stick stains on cups.
Our server and cook were great but manager, hosts and the experience was one of the worst experiences.
This place needs to stop taking reservations if they aren’t able to accommodate, we waited an hour for a reservation at 7 and every time I asked I was rudely told there was no update. Finally sat us at the bar, which we did not request. We requested to move to which we sat for 30 min before someone asked about our drinks.
For what you pay, we deserved better…
Do yourself a favor and head over to a more established place like Benihanas there’s a reason why they’re always booked.
Fun spot for my toddler and baby and surprisingly great food (filet mignon excellent)
Enjoyed a nice family dinner for my daughter’s birthday. Everything was wonderful. Great service and good food.
We arrived early for dinner on Thursday, November 25, 2021. We were seated early as well. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The food and drinks were wonderful. Our cook went out of his way to have a conversation with us. He didn’t rush to prepare our meals. Our server checked in on us a number of times throughout the evening. We would recommend this Kobe Japanese Steakhouse.
Loved our experience. We will be back soon. The food was absolutely delicious.
Terrible dinner, terrible service. I was really disappointed
Simple great food and atmosphere. Make reservations though or you will be waiting a long tim.
Very dissapointed with the price and food. I ordered a house salad (pricy and aweful) calimari (very pricy but hardly any calimari) and a sushi roll (pretty good). For a resturant that is pricy I expect a REALLY GOOD salad. Not and small bowl of iceberg lettice one cucumber and tomato.
Very nice atmosphere, live entertainment (great) & not to mention, food is excellent.
Attentive to my vegetarian diet with dinner options
The food is delicious and an excellent value. We go there for a fun night out.
Celebrated my 10 year anniversary here. Didn’t want to do teppanyaki so we settled for dining which was easier to reserve a table. Service is as great and took care of us the entire time. Food was delicious and moderately expensive. Little loud from the customers who ordered teppanyaki, but could still hear ourselves talk.
Birthday dinners here all always great.
The food is always good and they do a nice job catering to the kiddos. The place is a tad dated, but it certainly gets the job done!
