    The crab cakes were flavorful and had ample crab. The filet was spectacular. The server was pleasant enough but service was off. Timing and check ins were not timed appropriately. The asparagus was tough and so overcooked, however when I left and saw the same side on other tables, it looked great and crispy green. Speaks to a lazy chef who does not care about serving something he overcooked. Give the waitstaff some more training because your food is generally good, but it needs to be consistently good and the service needs to be better

    We asked to be seated outside so we could be close to the entertainment. It rained just a little but the canopy over the table kept us nice and dry. The meals and wine were beyond excellent! We enjoyed the music by Chris Sacks so much we stayed until he was finished. He added exceptional value to the evening and we will definitely be back to see him again!

    Knoxies is my favorite spot to treat myself, meet a friend, go on a date, or just grab a bite to go. The food and drinks are delicious and always fresh. I’ve never had a poorly made meal at Knoxies and the service is so personalized. I frequently stay at the Inn on special occasions and Knoxies is an important part of that experience.

    It was our 48th anniversary and we have celebrated at Knoxie's for the last 5 years at least. The food is ALWAYS excellent as is the service, and the outdoor terrace is beautiful and comfortable. We got free glasses of champagne!

    Went for our anniversary and had an amazing time. Our server was great, extremely friendly and attentive. The food was excellent as well. Fried green tomatoes were very good. We split the crabcake and ribeye dinners (we added the blue cheese crust and fried onions) with the pepper jack creamed corn and potato and Gruyère croquettes. Everything was amazing. We got two different desserts to split. The chocolate peanut butter pie and the bread pudding. Both were ridiculously good. Oh and the coffee was surprisingly great. All around had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

    We enjoyed a drink at the bar before the meal at Knoxie’s. The meal was absolutely delicious! We had the crab cake meal and the filet/blackened shrimp meal. Our waitress brought us champagne as we were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary, and we shared a wonderful piece of salted caramel crème brûlée cheesecake at the end. Amazing!

    A Disappointing Decline at Knoxie’s We’ve been loyal patrons of Knoxie’s for many years, but our most recent visit was so disappointing that we ultimately walked out—something we've never done before. Our evening began with a 6:30 PM reservation, and we arrived early hoping to enjoy a drink at the bar. Although there were several open seats—some occupied by patrons, others by handbags—there weren’t two seats together. I moved a chair to sit beside my wife and was promptly reprimanded by the bartender. Apparently, moving a chair was a violation. A polite request or a suggested alternative would have sufficed, but the tone used was unnecessarily curt and off-putting. Still, we stayed optimistic and approached the hostess to see if we could be seated early. The dining room was nearly empty at the time. She grabbed two menus and started to lead us outside, even though we had clearly asked for an indoor table. Only after reiterating our request did she adjust her seating chart and accommodate us inside. Once seated, we were entirely ignored. Despite several staff members visible in the area, no one acknowledged us or came to the table. We tried flagging down a server helping a nearby table but were unsuccessful. The hostess stand was now unattended, leaving us without any point of contact. After sitting unattended for nearly 10–15 minutes, combined with the earlier rudeness at the bar, we decided we’d had enough and left. Had anyone been available, I would have shared our frustration in person. We ended up dining at a nearby restaurant and had a far superior experience—courteous, efficient, and welcoming. It may be quite some time before we consider returning to Knoxie’s, if at all.
