About Knoxie's Table at The Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club
Located on the first floor of The Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, Knoxie's Table brings an innovative dining concept to Kent Island. The menu draws inspiration from our very own Chef's Garden and utilizes local farmers and watermen to create seasonal dishes featuring the area’s finest ingredients. Knoxie’s is our way of connecting locals and special guests to the very best of the Chesapeake Region. We believe the best tasting food is locally sourced and harvested in ways that are ecologically sound by people who are taking care of the land for future generations. We invite our guest to enjoy the immediacy and excitement of vegetables just out of the garden, fruit right off the branch and seafood fresh from the Chesapeake Bay.

Knoxie's Table at The Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club Ratings and Reviews
Overall it was a wonderful experience. Our server did get a little excited when we ordered a bottle of Dom Perignon and forgot to ring in our appetizer. Once we got the food, it was delicious! The atmosphere was exactly what we had hoped. Open space but yet each table felt like it was its own island. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family!
The Knoxie's menu is extensive and very Eastern Shore. My wife and I chose to eat in this restaurant on back to back nights during our stay at the Inn and Knoxie's did NOT disappoint.
We consider ourselves to be very demanding in the realm of food service and our experience here will keep us returning to celebrate special occasions.
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We have visited Knoxie's Table for Brunch several times and have always had an excellent dining experience. We were early in the evening and throughout our stay, the patrons increased but I will say that our server could not have been more personable, knowledgeable, and she truly added to the enjoyment of our dining experience.
Have been here several times and really like it. The food prep consistency is great as well as the atmosphere and service. Appreciate seasonal changes to the menu. We will return many times. The wine list is getting better, but could still benefit from a few additions, namely some notable red and white blends.
Really like this place a lot, it's one of our faves.
Restaurant was busy, service was moderate. We felt awkward after the restaurant changed their restaurant week menu from through the weekend to ending on thursday. We called ahead and they noted on our reservation the allowance of the special menu pricing but the waitress was not notified and seemed annoyed. Overall food was good. At the end the waitress made a comment that just put me off. I have eaten here many times and brought 2 (over 20) parties, just not the service we would like as being returning patrons not just cheap people looking to eat restaurant week.
Great dining spot on Kent Island. Part of a new hotel on the Island, Knoxie’s appears to have quite a following. The food is great, the restaurant has a lovely patio for outdoor drinks (in season) with a fire pit area and plenty of tables. Indoor dining can be a bit noisy when the restaurant is full (as it tends to be on weekends). While the hotel and restaurant has a large parking lot, it can often appear to be full, since the parking lot also serves a related wedding facility at the Chesapeake Beach Club.
My three friends and I came from Gaithersburg, MD, Washington DC, Warrenton, VA and Alexandria, VA, to celebrate two birthdays., never having been to Knoxie's Table. We were immediately seated and greeted by our waitress, named Theresa. As if the food, drinks and ambiance weren't wonderful enough, Theresa made our experience even more special. This restaurant is a must visit!
The atmosphere of the restaurant is wonderful with lovely décor. The bread, salad, and cocktails were very good. Our entrees were mediocre. We had the rockfish and the crab cake and chicken platter. Neither came with any vegetables, so the plates were very one note in color. The sauce and crab topping overpowered the taste of the rockfish and made the dish heavy. The crab and chicken were sitting in a pool of honey, which made the entire dish strangely sweet. A great place for drinks and apps, but I cannot recommend it for dinner.
Fantastic service and a very comfortable and elegant atmosphere. The meal was excellent, all fresh ingredients. The cuisine is "cosmopolitain" not terribly creative but interesting enough. Sometimes you just want a really good crab cake. The wine list is a bit pricey.
Was nice. Hoping for a nice meal out early, kidless, a date for a birthday. 1st table only table. You could tell it was a Monday. Nice meal not super impressed. No local 2 course special, no specials at all just the menu. Server seemed like she has someplace else to be - yet no other tables
I was very disappointed upon arrival for our reservation. I specified the patio in my Open Table reservation. Several days in advance. We were told there were no tables outside; only inside. We could wait, but the wait was long. I would not have needed a reservation for inside- it was nearly empty. We were seated adjacent to a noisy party of 6 near the bar as one of our party is diabetic and could not wait long for dinner.
The food and service were good, but would probably been better had our expectations for the patio been met.
I fail to understand any benefit to using your service if the restaurant does not honor the reservation. I will definitely not need to repeat this type of experience.
My husband and I had dinner Saturday pm, and though we have eaten at Knoxie's Table previously, we had never dined outdoors. They have lovely patio dining behind the bar, and the weather was ideal to enjoy a great seasonal cocktail, and a delicious meal.
***they have about 35% of their menu GF, many local and seasonal dishes. The atmosphere and wait staff all were great. Looking forward to returning!
This was the best meal that I have had in a long time! I ordered the baked wild rockfish with crab risotto and it was AMAZING!!!! Best risotto I have ever had! Creamy with lots of lump crabmeat. The rockfish was cooked perfectly, a nice thick piece that was white and flaky. Delicious! They also had the Horton Viognier (which I love) by the glass. We followed our meal with after dinner cocktails sitting in the rocking chairs around the fire pit. Great date night!
Knoxie's is a welcome addition to our Eastern Shore restaurant scene. This is a varied menu, priced fairly and with a nice variety of menu items and range of pricing so an entire table of 10 can match their selections to what they would value palate and price wise at the moment.
The beer and wine list were likewise nice and varied...and the service could not have been better.
