Knight's Steakhouse - Downtown Ann Arbor
Located at the corner of Liberty and Maynard streets, Knight's is the perfect place to grab a delicious meal and a strong drink!
Our philosophy is to provide our customers with unbelievable food, exceptional service and great drinks all at a great value. We only use the highest quality products available and our steaks and other offerings are cut fresh everyday by our butchers at Knight’s Market. As a traditional steakhouse, our steaks, prime rib, chicken, burgers and seafood are a main focus of our menu. However, we are equally proud of our other menu choices, including an assortment of salads, sandwiches, and pastas. We famously pour the strongest drink in town! We also offer a wide selection of draft and bottled beers, and an extensive wine list.
Each day we strive to improve our customers’ experience by providing quality food, drinks and service at an affordable price!
No one acknowledged that this was a birthday dinner. I felt we were in the way the entire time because of where the table was located.
Food was outstanding. Our booth was along a wall that was covered in portraits of people. Cool idea, but it felt like they were watching me the whole time. Service was great. We got in early and beat the lunch rush, so it was almost like we had the place to ourselves. Will definitely be back. (Today, actually. I'm going back only two days after visiting because I liked it so much.)
We were celebrating a veryimportant Birthday, but no one seemed to care.
Excellent food, excellent service and excellent atmoshere.
Great food, drinks and service.
I had the New York Sirloin and I am not a big steak eater and I think it may have been the best steak I have ever had. Steak was pricey but it was good. The Shrimp and Calamari appetizer was excellent. The Waiter was great... I will be going back.
I have had good food in the past, but this time all 5 of our meals were underwelming, food seemed to have sat a long time before it was served, and the beef tips lacked flavor, the fries were cold and soft. The server was to busy to give proper attention, even the first basket of rolls were not good, the second was was better.
I Took my grandson out for a great meal and found one at Knights.
Emily was excellent and took great care of us.
It was hard to eat with cold air blowing on us the whole time we were there. Asked several time to have it adjusted. Not good for a January evening in Michigan.
Our server Neil was most attentive and did not rush us. My date’s filet had to be sent back as it was too rare. Neil made it right and gave us a dessert for the inconvenience. Great service and great food!
I bought the house white blend thinking it would be a cheaper white choice, but was DISAPPOINTED when the bill came and the unnamed house White was $12!
My girlfriend and I went for our first anniversary and it was an absolute hit! From their selection of scotches to our very amicable server Mike, the restaurant was exactly what we were looking for!
Fresh oysters, terrific Brussels Sprouts and some perfectly cooked Salmon and the hanger steak done as well as could be done.
Post-holiday dinner with family. Great service & food!
We made a last-minute reservation to grab some food and drinks ahead of the new year. Our server was great as was the food.
Had 9:30 reservation and weren’t seated until after 10. Were given free appetizers and oysters to make up for it. Food was great as always.
Great food, great service! Love that they stuck to the regular menu for NYE, and didn’t inflate prices. The temperature in the restaurant was boiling though - not sure why it was SO hot.
We had the best time on New Year's Eve having dinner at Knight's! The food was great and so was the service! I'll definitely go back throughout the new year!
New Years Eve
Love the original Knights however not impressed with the food at the downtown knights
Reliably good food. I had Alyssa salad with salmon. Cocktails are powerful!! We had dinner at 4:45 New Year’s Eve. Pretty empty when we arrived, packed when we left! Excellent, friendly service.
Another terrific meal at Knight's. We love both locations-- since they butcher their own meat, the beef is always outstanding. We were lucky to get some gift cards for Christmas so it was an extra special meal!
We sat talking for a long time and appreciated the fact that we were never rushed despite people waiting for a table.
Love this place. Great food, great service, great location!
Service always consistently top notch
Great place to eat. This is was the first occasion to try the Downtown Knight’s. We met for a family dinner. Very high quality.
Brian Q. was our server. He’s exceptional. Patient, attentive, helpful and very courteous. His touch enhanced the great food. He’s a keeper.
The place is popular and quite lively. Lots of full tables filled with the myriad conversations. Very full of life in this joint.
We tried this restaurant for lunch upon the recommendation of a friend. Our server, Kim, was outstanding! She was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu items and their ingredients. She was equally attentive to all the patrons in her area.
The calamari and popcorn shrimp was a good starter. The Chilean sea bass tacos were great. The French dip sandwich was good as well. Kim recommenced horseradish sauce to complement the au jus. We were very pleased.
Came through with unique appetizers and dependable entrees. Came for the steak/prime rib and as always it was great!
Knight's Steakhouse downtown Ann Arbor is a great place for meeting with our friends and delicious food.
Fantastic meal at Knights. Hummous appetizer wad great. Main dishes excellent. Cocktails superb. Service outstanding. Highly recommend.
We love Knights! It’s our annual Xmas outing every year! Great family place!
Had a lovely date with my husband! The prime rib was delicious and the service was great.
Fantastic Happy Hour!
We went to Knight's for my husband's birthday dinner and it was our first time there. We had a great experience. We were seated right away, service was attentive but not overbearing, and the food was great. Cocktails were seriously strong, in a good way. Will definitely be back.
We went for our 45th wedding anniversary. The restaurant was extremely busy but we got seated right away. Had reservations for 6:00pm. Our server was prompt and we placed drink orders and did not wait long. One thing about Knight’s... their bartender does not skimp on the spirits! We had the mussels for an appetizer which were excellent. I had the “ surf and turf” special the evening. The steak was cooked perfectly, however the lobster was only fair. My wife had a steak, and again it was perfect. Finished with dessert, bourbon pecan pie, again was excellent. All in all a very pleasurable evening.
Good location for seeing shows downtown. The table we were seated at shouldn’t even be a table it was so poorly placed. Food was ok and service was fine.
Our meal was excellent! We had outstanding service and everyone on the staff appeared to be supporting each other to give diners a signature experience. We never felt rushed and were able to enjoy our meal.
We were seated right at our reservation time in a great booth. Service was a bit slow but the place was packed. Our group enjoyed filet, cowboy rib eye and fish and chips. We were too full for dessert, despite the tempting list. Prices are pretty high as is the noise level. Still one of our favorites in town.
