Knight's Steakhouse - Downtown Ann Arbor
Located at the corner of Liberty and Maynard streets, Knight's is the perfect place to grab a delicious meal and a strong drink!
Our philosophy is to provide our customers with unbelievable food, exceptional service and great drinks all at a great value. We only use the highest quality products available and our steaks and other offerings are cut fresh everyday by our butchers at Knight’s Market. As a traditional steakhouse, our steaks, prime rib, chicken, burgers and seafood are a main focus of our menu. However, we are equally proud of our other menu choices, including an assortment of salads, sandwiches, and pastas. We famously pour the strongest drink in town! We also offer a wide selection of draft and bottled beers, and an extensive wine list.
Each day we strive to improve our customers’ experience by providing quality food, drinks and service at an affordable price!
We are close to several large public parking structures, including: the Maynard Street Structure (1/2 block); Liberty Square Structure (1 block) and the Liberty Lane Structure (3 blocks). Maps for the structures can be found at www.a2dda.org. Street parking is also available on most streets around the restaurant. All parking is free on Sundays!
We love Knights! Everything from the moment you arrive is friendly, clean and comfortable. The service is always outstanding and the food is always delicious and prepared to order. It is absolute perfection.
We had a delicious meal and our waitress was fantastic. We will be back!!
Great steak, sides were okay. I'll be back again when I can.
Our food and service were fantastic, we love coming to knights.
Very pleasant restaurant but a bit pricey; really worth it though, no complaints at all. I don't think it was planned, but my filet was in the shape of lower Michigan (to me) 😁
I was born and raised in Ann Arbor and this is the first time I've dined in a Knight's and it was great! I was on a first date which I thought it was a great pick - my date agreed. Meredith, our server, was attentive and simply fantastic.
Had dinner on the patio with friends. While waiting for a table to open up we enjoyed a cocktail at the bar. Our bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly. Once seated our server was prompt and we received our appetizers and cocktails within minutes even though we were a larger group. Our dinners were all delicious! Knight’s continues to be my favorite spot in Ann Arbor!
Took our grandson as we were passing through Ann Arbor. His choice and an excellent one.
My Wife and I went to Knight’s downtown for our six year anniversary. Just a wonderful experience all the way around the appetizers were wonderful. My wife and I both had the specials. My wife’s grilled salmon with pesto was incredible. The steak LeBlanc was the best tasting steak I’ve ever had. Will be going back soon
Awesome. Order a classic cocktail (not a sour or rum and Coke) you will not be disappointed.
Food and service was outstanding!
Excellent service and outstanding cuisine. My steak was cooked to perfection.
GREAT LOCATION FOR DOWNTOWN ATTRACTIONS SUCH AS SUMMERFEST, MICHIGAN OR STATE THEATERS, ETC.
Went for Anniversary with girlfriend. GREAT food. Very nice restaurant environment. Food came out quickly and was GREAT! Very large wine selection (though we did not indulge).
The food was great, and our server (Katie) was superb - knowledgeable about the wine list, personable & funny!
I sure wish I could remember our servers name because he was all over it, as perfect as you could ever ask for. The food was excellent too, and it came out of the kitchen promptly and by the time our drinks were getting close to empty, our service as asking if we wanted another one. I couldn't say better things and can't wait to go back next time in A2!
Great food, great service, great price. Really enjoyed it and would go back
Frankie the server was awesome she did great. Prime rib was a bit tough.
It was very busy and the service was incredibly slow. It was very hot. I think the waitress forgot to put our order in. I have been there before and had much better food and service.
Went here for father’s day and my dad loved it. Actually everyone I’ve taken here loves it. Good quality food without the frills and really good service.
Knights always delivers on their great drinks. However in the food department - not always so good. I had a Mahi Fish Tacos - very uninspiring - both in flavor and presentation. They had some sort of weird sauce. The usual condiments (slaw) for example - were not in the tacos. I had hoped for better - being a fish taco fan. They are known for their steaks....and maybe that is why they are so popular (of course the drinks)_!
Lovely atmosphere, food was delicious. Especially enjoyed the French onion soup and the house Sangria.
An excellent restaurant overall. The food was very good and so was the wine.
Went there for daughters graduation lunch. Very good food and friendly waitstaff. Knights is one of our favorite places!
Fun spot. Great for pre-show dining
Tyler Smith was our server. Phenomenal.
Seated promptly. Had early dinner so wasn’t too hungry. Had the Caesar salad with fried chicken. The salad was tasty. Breading on chicken was perfect. The chicken itself not as juicy or flavorful. Good portion. Dining party had lobster ceviche (good), hamburger (good but a little overlooked) and kale salad and salmon burger.
Service was attentive. The environment was modern casual. Good for a simple night out
Very nice overall, good food and good service. However, they did run out of an entree and a dessert.
We visit Knight's often for special occasions or for a nice lunch date. We have had amazing servers, this trip the server was a little less than we had come to expect. Food was amazing, try the desserts! Servings are generous enough to share.
Service was outstanding, food and drinks were delicious
Good portion sizes, every meal element was delicious, had 6 oz filet with portabello mushroom cap and crab and wife had prime rib.
Perfect meal as always. The Filet Mignon sliders are incredible and the sangria was a little too good.
My husband and I each had the prime rib. It was a very generous cut of meat at 12oz. In terms of taste and texture: it was nice. Not great, but satisfying. The side salad with the house made ranch dressing was just as it should be. Fresh and delicious. But what really put the dinner into the "very good" category was the dessert. We shared a layered chocolate mouse. I don't know if it was made in-house, but if it was: kudos to the pastry chef!
Great food and excellent service
The food here is always good. It’s not too loud, unlike many other restaurants in town. We have had Katie as our server a few times and she is great!
I have dined at the Liberty Street Knight's many times, and while I feel it does a good job on its entrees and drinks, its ambiance could be better. Several times we have been seated towards the rear, and the high-pitched whistling noise is really obnoxious, and the vibrations from the floor are also intrusive. Maybe it's a problem with the building, but it definitely takes away from an enjoyable dinner.
Service was excellent and the food was terrific.
Filet mignon and the truffle fries were awesome. First time there and was not disappointed.
