Our waitress was awesome! My dinner was very good. One of the other diners thought her food was mediocre.
Great Happy Hour!! If you are lucky to have Josh as your server you won't be disappointed.
Super delicious, totally recommend the petite sirloin which is just enough meat (5 ounces) because it comes with salad and potato and veg! Very fun environment but always packed and loud so not great if you need to have a deep conversation.
Really enjoyed our dinner prior to walking across the street to the Michigan Theater for a film. Food and service were excellent, and ambience was conducive to good conversation. Used the Maynard St. parking structure which made it very convenient.
Everything was OUTSTANDING. Penne Au Poivre special should be a regular item.
We love this place!! Excellent cocktails, terrific food. We come here for date night and dinner out with the whole family. Loud enough to bring little kids, plus public wi-if and a great kids menu. Be sure to try the shrimp/calamari appetizer.
The special Manhattan , can't remember the name , best I've ever had ! Steak done perfectly, waitress very helpful and attentive.
My food was great. I had the black bean burger and a house salad. Their homemade ranch was awesome!
Not my ideal place for a relaxing dinner. It's almost hard to believe that they are able to seat so many people and remain within fire code. The food was average. The drinks were strong and worth it!
Great table, Meredith was great, Knight’s always excels!
Average at best. Two ordered steak, one prime rib. Both steaks over cooked to what was requested. We asked for upgraded Cesar Salad and they were.average at best and soaked with dressing. Probably would not go again as it was mediocre on all counts except price. Too expensive for the quality of the experience or food.
Good. Very busy due to multiple campus events that night. Our waitress was very friendly, but I think she may have been overwhelmed, so our food took longer than usual.
Love this place.
My husband and I had a great meal at one of our favorite restaurants in Ann Arbor. Food and service are always good and the pours are generous! It was U-M’s spring break, so the place was fairly quiet. We will be back again soon!!
My family & I were celebrating my birthday and I wanted to try someplace new, glad we did, my food was delicious, my husband’s steak was not really prepared how he would like it but all in all I enjoyed my meal very much!
I celebrated my 30th birthday here, with my husband and another couple. Everyone loved their food and we were all really happy with our selections. I would definitely recommend Knight's Steakhouse to anyone.
My friend and I split the cowboy steak. Ordered medium rare. It was a little dry. It was the only rib eye choice. I was supprised that there were not more entree choices. There were a lot of sandwiches. Steak not as good as Ruths Chris. Truffle fries were awesome. Brussel sprout app was very good.
Extremely busy but was seated within 10 minutes of our reservation so no complaints there. Attentive waitress, drinks were well made, food was quick and delicious. Overall great place! Will be back next time I'm in Ann Arbor.
Knights typically does a great job. I know I've given them kudos in the past and overall it was still good.
Steaks were excellent although not Medium rare..more medium (they're a steak house and the cooks should know med. rare), truffle fries were awesome..potatoes au' gratin o.k. not very cheesy, garlicy rolls always lovely, chili was nice, and harvest salad was just o.k. this time (lots of green but little to match the harvest description..I'd swear they did this one better before?). Drinks were wonderful and any of the off things could probably be attributed to it being a really busy Saturday night. I'd still highly recommend
Great food, service and worth the price. Will definitely return!
Downtown Knights is nowhere as good as the originL Knights and more expensive..... if it weren’t so convenient to the Michigan theater, we wouldn’t be going there!
My petite filet was tough and over cooked.... my friends’ sweet potato fries were soggy and the fish , so-so! The waitress kept coming by and asking if we were “still working on it”. I hate that! I don’t “work at”my dinner. Not satisfactory !!
Steaks were overdone for all 3 in party. All ordered NY Strip and medium rare.
They are always friendly, competent, and the food is very good!
Restaurant was super busy due to event at theater across street, but our table was ready on time, the service was amazing. Drinks are good, but a little expensive. Food was sublime (sorry too much Johnny Weir during the Olympics).
We came to Knights for a quick bite before the Price Is Right Live show at the Michigan Theater. I had made reservations, but we arrived early. They happily accommodated us despite being very busy. The appetizer we ordered was large enough to fill both my husband and me. This was our second visit, but will not be our last. It's a great place for delicious food and a vibrant atmosphere.
Truffle fries were too soggy, but the house-made potato chips were excellent. The ribeye steak had great flavor, and was cooked to perfect order, but was on the expensive side. The side salad was plain.
Very hard to carry on a conversation at our table because of noise level. Also had a reservation but still had to wait almost 20 minutes.
3 OF THE 5 IN OUR PARTY HAD NOT BEEN TO KNIGHTS BEFORE. EVERYONE LOVED THEIR FOOD. THE SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL --- VERY PERSONABLE AND EFFICIENT. A FUN GET TOGETHER.
First time trying Knight's and food and service was outstanding. Great drink selection and steaks were fantastic! May be our new favorite place!
Great service, menu, drink lists
Food was good, but overpriced by about $2-$5
Excellent overall experience. Friendly and helpful hostess and waitstaff. Comfortable atmosphere and our waitress Heather was excellent. Our food was prepared exactly as requested.
I took my wife here for Valentine's Day, and had left a request on Open Table to have roses at the table but there was nothing. Also, we got seated by the waiter's station. The lighting is really bright and not very romantic to say the least. The steaks were great but don't go for Valentine's day.
Steak was amazing , the service was great but the parking is horrible but out of their control.
Had a great Valentines Day dinner at Knights. The food was wonderful, the staff was caring and knowledgeable, but a bit busy on a very busy night. The restaurant was full and lively without feeling crowded. I’ll definitely be going back.
Over priced for small portion and mediocre quality.
Everything wonderful, as usual - the service is always great.
I gave it 2-stars because my NY Strip was good but my wife’s prime rib on Valentines Day was cold. No one expects to pay those prices and have their food served cold.
A bar trying to be a restaurant. Prime Rib we ordered was undersized and dry.
My favorite place to eat whenever we are on campus. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Love their French dip sandwich!
