Knight’s Downtown is the newest addition to the Knight family restaurants.

Located at the corner of Liberty and Maynard streets, Knight's is the perfect place to grab a delicious meal and a strong drink!

Our philosophy is to provide our customers with unbelievable food, exceptional service and great drinks all at a great value. We only use the highest quality products available and our steaks and other offerings are cut fresh everyday by our butchers at Knight’s Market. As a traditional steakhouse, our steaks, prime rib, chicken, burgers and seafood are a main focus of our menu. However, we are equally proud of our other menu choices, including an assortment of salads, sandwiches, and pastas. We famously pour the strongest drink in town! We also offer a wide selection of draft and bottled beers, and an extensive wine list.

Each day we strive to improve our customers’ experience by providing quality food, drinks and service at an affordable price!

Restaurant was super busy due to event at theater across street, but our table was ready on time, the service was amazing. Drinks are good, but a little expensive. Food was sublime (sorry too much Johnny Weir during the Olympics).

We came to Knights for a quick bite before the Price Is Right Live show at the Michigan Theater. I had made reservations, but we arrived early. They happily accommodated us despite being very busy. The appetizer we ordered was large enough to fill both my husband and me. This was our second visit, but will not be our last. It's a great place for delicious food and a vibrant atmosphere.

Truffle fries were too soggy, but the house-made potato chips were excellent. The ribeye steak had great flavor, and was cooked to perfect order, but was on the expensive side. The side salad was plain.

Very hard to carry on a conversation at our table because of noise level. Also had a reservation but still had to wait almost 20 minutes.

I took my wife here for Valentine's Day, and had left a request on Open Table to have roses at the table but there was nothing. Also, we got seated by the waiter's station. The lighting is really bright and not very romantic to say the least. The steaks were great but don't go for Valentine's day.

Had a great Valentines Day dinner at Knights. The food was wonderful, the staff was caring and knowledgeable, but a bit busy on a very busy night. The restaurant was full and lively without feeling crowded. I’ll definitely be going back.

I gave it 2-stars because my NY Strip was good but my wife’s prime rib on Valentines Day was cold. No one expects to pay those prices and have their food served cold.

A bar trying to be a restaurant. Prime Rib we ordered was undersized and dry.

Great steakhouse without the attitude. The other location is classic and legendary, but this place is updated significantly, with much of the same great food -- steaks and other fare, and still the great "pours." Fun and vibrant, but not overwhelming. On a very active "towny" corner, with huge windows, so people watching is possible from the whole place and there's plenty of fine ambiance.

This was our first time at Knight's and we were pleasantly surprised at the casual ambiance and the great food. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend the brussel sprout appetizer. I was too full for dessert but next time I will save room.

Not really our "cup of tea", we were seated right away, but crowded with tables very close together, very noisy, slow service, food so, so, but not spectacular or anything we would make an extra effort to go there again.

Would somebody please train these servers how to open a wine bottle without cracking the cork in half first?! They never sink the cork screw more than halfway. I’m going to grab the bottle from them next time!

Tyler was great, very attentive and personable, as well as quick. Love to go to Knight's before any event at Michigan because it's right across the street. Food is predictably good, while service is as well.
