Knight’s Downtown is the newest addition to the Knight family restaurants.

Located at the corner of Liberty and Maynard streets, Knight's is the perfect place to grab a delicious meal and a strong drink!

Our philosophy is to provide our customers with unbelievable food, exceptional service and great drinks all at a great value. We only use the highest quality products available and our steaks and other offerings are cut fresh everyday by our butchers at Knight’s Market. As a traditional steakhouse, our steaks, prime rib, chicken, burgers and seafood are a main focus of our menu. However, we are equally proud of our other menu choices, including an assortment of salads, sandwiches, and pastas. We famously pour the strongest drink in town! We also offer a wide selection of draft and bottled beers, and an extensive wine list.

I don't go to Knight's often enough. Every time I go I think "Jeez, this is wonderful" and then, somehow, manage to forget to come back for months. I believe I'm going to resolve to come back much sooner.

Very busy so our server who was very nice just seemed stretched too thin. No bread as promised until we reminded them we never received it. Ordered prime rib rare and got medium well and not even warm. Probably last of an old roast. Told server and exchanged for a piping hot rare piece as originally ordered which was very good. Vegetables came 10minutes after second piece of prime rib delivered?! Had to flag down waiter for a glass of wine with dinner. My dining partner’s filet mignon was tough. Was fun to check it out but I have had more consistent experiences at other Ann Arbor steak houses.

This was the second time I tried this restaurant. Had a steak both times, after hearing rave reviews. The first time, my steak was over cooked and pretty flavorless. Thought it may be a fluke, so I gave it another go. No dice. Same experience as the first time. My business associate had a chicken pasta dish. Her comments were that it was “really good,” but served just warm and was cold shortly after reaching the table. On a positive side, they have a good beer selection, and our waitress was fantastic...wish I would have gotten her name. She was super friendly, fun, but not overwhelming. She did a great job.

My filet mignon was dry, overcooked and flavorless, unfortunately - a let down especially since it was $32. I didn't want to return it because we were having a nice time and we needed to eat in time to get to a show. Service was great, my husband's hangar steak was great.
