We love the Knife & Fork. A fabulous meal, service, and experience overall. One thing was - it was very very loud and they stuck us in the corner of the downstairs dining room between 2 large loud parties. Our server had a rough time trying to talk to us not to mention serve in the corner.
We visited knife and fork for the first time and were thrilled. I'll make this short and sweet, the food and service were impeccable. The portions were huge. Our servers were very attentive to our needs. My key lime Martini was so good. This restaurant has a fabulous menu. Hubby and I were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary and we couldn't have picked a finer place. We can't wait to return.
The food was superb, cooked to order. Todd is one of the most professional waiters I’ve encountered. Unfortunately this was my second time dining on a Saturday night when we were seated next to obnoxious intoxicated patrons f-bombing and the like. So problematic when you’re dining with your mother and 7 year old son. Don’t recommend for a family gathering
Our servers were awesome especially Todd . Very informative, caring , and attentive ! I am extremely happy with my experience !
We were disappointed with the cooking of my 12oz. Sirloin Steak!
It came out too rare and it was sent back for more cooking. It came out a 2nd time, 10 minutes later, still much rarer than a Medium Well steak should be. At this point, I ate most of the piece,
struggling with the under cooked taste and texture.
At the end of the meal, we were very satisfied by the server's response, removing the cost of that meal from the check!
The Knife & Fork Inn never disappoints. I went with my sister and good friend. The wine was excellent and the food was also. Our server was a professional and she was well versed in the menu and offered great suggestions. I will definitely return.
Our food was good. Steak was cooked just right. Rolls were stale. Cesar salad was huge but not especially tasteful. She vice was not great waiter not too attentive. Table next to us was very loud and annoying.
I went there for mother’s day with my parents and my 5 year old son. Our waitress was amazing and treated my son just as important as the adults. It was so much appreciated I wish I remembered her name because she was amazing ! Can’t wait to go back
Mother’s Day. The food is fantastic. The service, Kate, was great.
Always a great place to eat for a special occasion(or not). Staff well informed, food is always fresh and delicious.. next time in town, going to hit happy hour......
My wife and I had an excellent dinner in as part of our 15th wedding anniversary celebration at Knife & Fork. From the second we stepped inside the service and hospitality was outstanding. The food was great, but the service elevated everything. I ordered a porterhouse that there were some snafus with in preparation, but the incredible attentiveness from the staff more than made up for anything. We had a very special evening and look forward to going back on future trips to AC.
The best flounder stuffed with crab meat.
Excellent food and service in an historic atmosphere.
Great as always
The food was outstanding & our server Casey was fantastic. Perfect Birthday dinner. Thanks 😃
As always a special meal in a wonderful setting. Each of us had a seafood entree which was served exquisitely. I enjoyed stuffed flounder (crabmeat). My wife equally enjoyed her salmon entree. We share a salad as well as a side serving of Brussel sprouts. Both portions were enough for four to share.
There was no room for dessert.
This restaurant continues to excel in serving exquisite food under a wonderful setting. While prices are high, the following d quality warrants it.
The lobster thermidor is outstanding.
The ambiance was unique and enjoyable while the waitstaff was friendly. We were quite disappointed with the food though. Both my wife and I had filet mignon which was dry and tasteless. We have eaten in many restaurants over the years and don’t remember ever having such a poor steak. Lastly, the dessert cake was dry and tasted like it sat in the refrigerator for weeks.
The food was delicious with a few misses. The waitress Kate was very good and compted us dessert for my birthday.
Food was outstanding as usual. It got very noisy at the end of our dinner but did not take away from our date night.
An outstanding dining experience as always. Since this is our favorite restaurant for all special occasions, there was no other choice for my husband's 75th Birthday. I look forward to our next special celebration.
Fantastic as always duck breast can't be beat!.
Excellent all around
Always a great experience!
Great service and exceptional food try the warm spinach salad it is life changing!
I really did enjoy myself. Everything about this place was amazing
this restaurant is always outstanding for the food and service as well as the ambiance.
Definitely an unexpected find in Atlantic City! The building is beautifully restored, and the history makes for a fun dining experience. Our server was well informed and attentive. Overall, a great experience!
We went to The Knife and Fork Inn because my wife wanted to go someplace special for her birthday. Special is an understatement. From the minute you enter the restaurant, you know your experience will be special, The menu had a variety of wonderful appetizers, meals, and desserts. I had the Lobster Bisque as an appetizer, lobster thermidor for my entree and lobster risotto as a side. I have never had better at any time.
There were also meat entrees, fish entrees and multiple salads. The dessert menu was great with dishes not common to most restaurants but extraordinary delicious. Finally, though I mentioned my wife's birthday to Liz, our server, Liz, without being asked, brought my wife a small cake with a candle. Liz did it on her own. Super special.
The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. Soft woods, low lighting and comfortable chairs. Walking through the restaurant entry was so nice it set the mood for the evening.
The restaurant also provides valet parking. Given its Atlantic City location, valet parking was a treat.
If you live in the area or are visiting Atlantic City, go to The Knife and Fork Inn. It is amazing.
Amazing, first time to Atlantic City and we were having a business/pleasure meal. This was one of the best meals I have ever had. My girlfriend, business partner, and I all absolutely LOVED everything. Highly recommended going forward and would love to come back!
Excellent classic steak and lobster dinner. We ordered multiple cowboy steaks and lobster thermidors. The quality of the dishes was not consistent. My steak was too thick and chewy whereas my colleague's was much more tender. They were cooked to the same order. Two of my other colleagues ordered lobster thermidors that tasted different as well. The food was great, but I would have preferred a more consistent experience for my party.
Really unique restaurant from early 1900s with a story! Food was excellent!
Great meal excellent service
The food is always good. Our server Casey was informative, friendly, very attentive !
I have been to Knife and Fork twice and both times were outstanding! The food was delicious, portions were great for the price and both times Our server was excellent and attentive. I do not like being rushed when I am havin a multiple course meal, and they space out everything perfect. I will definitely go back and enjoy again.
Birthdays and Anniversaries
We went for my husbands Birthday,as Always,he was treated "Special". The staff, chefs, waitress, all excellent and make you feel very welcomed. The food is fantastic!! Try the Stuffed Veal Chop,Scallops,or Lobster Thermidor!!
Loved it! Everything about the experience was great, we ended up eating at the bar for happy hour because everyone seemed to be having a good time. Could not have been fetter. We will go back soon!
I expressed it was birthday celebration but the request was not acknowledged
