Knife & Fork Inn
The lunch was a good value. The food was delicious and the white table clothes at lunch were a nice touch. Heidi was a pleasant and attentive server. This place never disappoints.
Lunch at the Knife and Fork Inn was delicious and reasonably priced. The price fixe selection was great.
Drinks at bar .....awesome. This was our third time dining here. We recommend to friends. Sadly not anymore. Surf was tasteless turf should have been stamped NHL for puck. His sirloin was seasoned or grilled with Parmesan cheese YUCK. The signature corn crab soup. Lucky if you found crab...served luke warm with hard old potatoes. This was Thursday night 7/12/18. Manager and Kate our waitress were terrific. I feel bad ....the kitchen let us all down.
Excellent, but very noisy.
We went to Knife and Fork Inn as part of an Atlantic City homage to Anthony Bourdain. Outstanding food, beautiful ambience, and wonderful service by our server Suzi. We will definitely be back!
There fairly early, 5:30pm reservation and was seated on the 3rd floor. Found it difficult to go up two flights of narrow stairs, worse if I wore heels. Though we had wonderful service and meal, I do not think we will be back unless there’s an elevator or they have table seating on the first floor. I did not see either.
Liz is an excellent waitress. Made night very enjoyable.
Very good, would go back, the food is outstanding, nice
Great service and food. The only problem was the credit card machine was down all night, so we had to leave numbers with our server. Not a favorite thing to do!
Birthday dinner great as usual!
We had friends in from New York, and we all had a great meal, service was also great.
Dinner and drinks were absolutely fabulous. Our waitress was friendly and attentive
Definitely want to go again soon
My husband and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary while visiting Atlantic City. We recently watched “Boardwalk Empire”, so I was looking for a restaurant of that period. We had a drink at the bar, and then were seated in the Main Dining Room beneath a prohibition-era mural depicting a speakeasy. Our waiter, Casey, was terrific! He was knowledgeable of the history of the building, even showing us where booze was hidden under the booth seats during Prohibition. The food was amazing. I had Lobster Thermidor for the first time. Divine! My husband and I agree that this was the nicest dining experience we’ve ever had!
Wonderful evening with family. My grandparents took me to Knife and Fork years ago and we are taking our children and soon to be grandchildren here! We love this restaurant and can't wait to return!
Beautiful Restaurant! The Food was excellent, and so was the service.I had the lobster egg roll and my husband had the lobster bisque soup. For entres i had rib eye and husband had filet mignon oscar!! We will be coming back for sure!!!!!!!!!!
Wow this place is unique and beautiful! The food was excellent and the service was great. The only down fall is the noise.
Fantastic food and service from beginning to end!!
Excellent overall as usual.
Consistently great food in a classic atmosphere
Had a lovely evening with wonderful friends at Knife and Fork this July 6, 2018. We had last minute reservations at 6:45 pm on a Friday night and we were seated promptly! Our waitress was wonderful on this busy summer evening and very patient with our need to relax. The food was excellent and at no time did we feel rushed but were able to catch up with friends and enjoy dinner and drinks.
After our meal we sat at the bar and enjoyed our after dinner drinks and we will be back very soon!
Special thanks to Tim the bartender for his conversation and service!
The food was great but the bar area was so loud we could barely hear the waitress 😒
Would have been perfect if grill chef knew how to cook meat to temperature however I would still return.
Absolutely love this restaurant. I have never been disappointed. Service is always excellent. Food is delicious and consistent.
Excellent, as always! Barmaid very amenable! Food is phenomenal!
this is the second time I have been here and I love it!!!! Excellent food!!
Good waitress but too many tables , not enough support staff but the food and ambiance were great.
As wonderful as always! From drinks and entrees to dessert, the food was fabulous. Our server was very attentive without being imposing. A fine evening.
49th Wedding Anniversary for my Brother and Sister in Law. Our sever Bridgette was more than outstanding , she didn’t miss a beat, knew the menu inside out and was accommodation changing our table . Fun place , very nice bar, a bit noisy but very enjoyable. And don”t miss dessert.
My husbands birthday , they were Amazing
Very Attentive to our needs , We’ll definitely be coming back
Wonderful time & excellent food - our waiter Robert was attentive & so helpful. Explained about the restaurant history! Great experience!!
Everything was great
We were anxious to try the Knife and Fork as we frequent Doc's Oyster House often and knew Knife and Fork was owned by the same folks. Quite a disappointment....high prices, mediocre quality of appetizers, entrees and wines. Ambiance was nice....nice leather bound menus, beautiful wine glasses, overall feeling of the restaurant was enjoyable.
Had a stupendous rack of lamb. Great service. Well worth the price.
I have been here on several occasions, including two Thanksgiving dinners and everything has been wonderful from food to drinks. However I must admit that I was disappointed in my entree at my last seating. I ordered the 8 oz filet mignon and it was short of sub par. It was bland and dry and lacking in flavor. Not what I expected from Knife and Fork as I have had several amazing dining experiences here before. Everything else was wonderful as usual, including the wait staff.
It was my husband's birthday and I guess I was used to a comped dessert especially since this is a expensive restaurant . What he got was a candle plopped onto on dessert which we paid for I do think when the tab is well over $100 the restaurant could spring for more than a candle
maybe a cookie or something small but thoughtful
bread did not taste fresh and climbing up steps to third floor was asking alot
We are very fit seniors, some would not be able to handle it
probably will come back for happy hour
Terrible. So disappointing. Bar counter was dirty. Bartenders and hostesses couldn't be less friendly. Food is so pricey and so average. So many good choices at the Shore this isn't worth the stop.
We always wanted to try it, so we gave it a try! The bartenders were not very friendly, which was surprising. Our server, who was from Ireland, was fabulous. Very sweet and gave us lots of suggestions. She didn't rush us either. The sommelier helped us pick a great wine for a very reasonable price! The food was delicious, and the building is very unique inside! We would go again!
Good food good service
Wonderful food and drinks. Our waitress was exceptional.
