"El lugar donde comen los neoyorkinos" Knickerbocker es conocido por su grandioso jazz y sus filetes t-bone de 28 oz., además de ser el favorito de muchas celebridades como F. Murray Abraham, Chris Noth y Alec Baldwin. Racheal Ray lo considera uno de sus "favoritos de la ciudad de Nueva York" y ha reconocido su coctel de camarones, espinaca con crema y, por supuesto, los filetes t-bone. Knickerbocker has had "Live Jazz" since the days when the village had "Live Jazz". Harry Connick Jr. got his start here, back in the late 80"s. Names like Junior Mance, Bucky Pizzarelli and Ben Wolf now show up on our schedule.We have live jazz on Friday & Saturday nights, starting at 9:45pm till 2:00am. There is a small $3.50 cover charge at the tables after 10:15 pm, or just stop in at the bar for a drink, with no cover.

The early Seating has seating times 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, No Music Charge The Late seating times are 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, $35 pp Music Charge Early seating flips into Late seating. Late seating will have Noise makers, Party hats, Poppers. Menu will be listed on our Website by Dec 1.

Knickerbocker strikes the perfect balance between a casual and luxurious dining experience. The food is exceptional and the setting is a true blast from the past.

My dinner mates had the hamburger and crab cakes which they really enjoyed. I had Knickerbockers famous tbone steak and it was very, very fatty. I have been eating at Knickerbocker regularly since they opened almost 50 years ago, and this was the worst steak I ever had there. I should have sent it back, but I was too hungry! On another note, it was very, very warm in the restaurant. We were all very uncomfortable.

This is an old neighborhood standby, the "local" for lots of people. You can count on very good food and service.

Went for a special occasion early Sunday supper (although our favorite neighborhood gem). Sublime steak: grilled EXACTLY as ordered! All other many items = delicious. Service was excellent. Early so surprisingly quiet. PERFECT in every way!

I think I've posted a review before on Knickerbocker, but I'll say it again - this is a true gem of the Village. Places like this do not exist anymore. The vibe is so authentic and old school in a good way. Food is always great and the drinks even better. One of my all time favorites.

I come here often with two elderly friends. They are always so accommodating to us. We get there early and realizing that the music was maybe a bit too loud, they turned it down for us. We each had something different. We asked to split a salad and then I’d be chopped and that was not a problem at all. Stephanie, our server, even dished up the salad for us. She has been my server on several occasions and she’s super cool. I will be back!
