   This is a very casual East Village bar/bistro combo that has a nice formula. Thought the food was good, vibe and service very good and all very reasonably priced. A very nice casual dining spot. point cloates

   Eastern European comfort food and fantastic beer list of hard to find greats. Loved the atmosphere and delicious meal. Would go back again.

   The food was very good - it was Mediterranean inspired. The Greek yogurt dip with pita bread was very tasty and so was the salad - it was light yet flavourful. The best part was the service - even though there was only one waiter, he was very friendly and efficient. He wasn't too overbearing and we caught his attention easily when we needed to. He gave us our last round of drinks for free since there was no dessert. Will definitely come back!

   Food wasn't bad but it wasn't very good either. I had moussaka and it was obviously previously prepared and warmed up. Given the nature of this dish that's usual. But it didnt taste fresh. Service was acceptable. The appetizer of small Spinach pies was on the dry side and felt like it was commercially prepared. I get the feeling this place caters to a local and loyal crowd and feels like it doesn't have to anything special when newcomers show up.

   Excellent food, friendly staff (warm and inviting), great opportunity to meet interesting people of an interesting and often times international set. Intriguing decor. Great fun on Monday evenings when the bands come to play.
