This was our first time at Kitchen West, a Travelzoo special. Everything was top notch. David, our server, made great recommendations for food and wine. The atmosphere was cozy and comfy and we were able to enjoy our food at a leisurely pace. The meatball appetizer was yummy and paired nicely with the complimentary flatbread and tomato jam. The filet stack was cooked perfectly and oh so tender. The only slight disappointment was the short supply of brownie in the brownie-dessert-in-a-jar. But the healthy serving of a nicely-done creme brûlée made up for it. If you go: don't ask Siri for directions. She'll have you making U-turns on McCormick before you're even at the resort!

My family and friends (sometimes 5 of us,sometimes 25) always pick a special place for Easter Brunch after morning church services. We have been to the Bolders, Phoenician, Arizona Biltmorr etc and enjoyed the Brunch at The Scottsdale Resort every bit as much. Food snd service was great, room was beautiful and all and all very enjoyable experience

Food was very bland and ordinary. Nothing that couldn’t be knocked together at home. The dessert looked like it cane from a can. Knowing that none of the meals were finished they did not make an effort to make it right

Only problem it was freezing in the restaurant. Wear something warm.

Amy was great fun. Salmon appetizer was great. Steak frittes was delicious.

We had the chicken with farro, the salmon and meat loaf with mashed potatoes and succotash. The meatballs were our shared appetizer and the complimentary flatbread was delicious. Antonio was our server last time. He was terrific. This time, our server was David. He too was efficient, courteous and helpful. Antonio recognized us from last time and greeted us. Just a third very pleasant experience!!

Not a place to go if you want quiet time and romance. It’s more like an expensive cafeteria attached to a loud bar. The food was marginal at best, partially burned. The menu was minimal. You can do better at a chain restaurant.

Had not been to this venue for serval years. Loved the bar and the outdoor seating area. The restaurant had been remodeled and like the open kitchen concept. Service was great!! (Ashley in bar and Justin in restaurant). The salmon appetizer was a meal. Loved the black cod in parchment. The carrot cake was awesome.

Our meals were delicious. We had the shrimp and salmon primavera. We recommend you get the shrimp appetizers and the meatballs. Or carrot cake was delicious as well. Antonio was our waiter. His service was impeccable

The one reason I would not recommend and probably won't return is that the menu is so limited. I should have looked at it closer when making the reservations but there are so few meal choices available and we do like options. So in my mind, I wouldn't see a reason to come back. The place was beautiful and the staff was great but the food is why we were there.

Why an overall rating of Fair, when food and service were really good. Because it took them 15 minutes to work out the check, and this when no one else was finishing up. The waitress kept coming back to apologize, but no real explanation was offered, so the entire meal experience was ruined.

Overall, the food was delicious. It's a nice little restaurant inside this lovely hotel resort. We actually had a Groupon so I can't objectively talk about the value other than to say I don't know how I would've felt if I'd had to pay full price for it. But forgetting that, Amy was our waitress and she was flawless. It was such a breath of fresh air to be served by somebody who clearly loves their job, loves the food, loves working there. We started with the delicious salad with roasted corn and chicken and vegetables. The house ranch is delish. We split the scallops and the skirt steak. Both were wonderful. The only part of the meal that didn't really exceed our expectations was the desert. It was a peach cobbler and it was just OK. Overall, I absolutely would go there again. Hopefully, I wouldn't be paying. :-)

Wow, not worth your time, embarrassing from slow seating to cold coffee. No wonder it was empty on a Saturday night

Valet missing, inadequit wait staff, salmon over cooked and dry. Won't be back!

This place was a bit hard to find, inside the resort. Really nice staff and great menu selections. Nice size serving.

The one thing that stands out from this restaurant is the impeccable service. Our waitress Amy was very kind, friendly, and a very outgoing person. The staff was very helpful at creating a memorable moment for my friend and myself.

We were really excited to try this place after all of the glowing reviews, however, it was a disappointing experience. Our salmon and scallops entrées had no flavor, and the sides were small and nothing special. The best part of the meal was the complimentary bread and tomato jam, but we did not get it before our meal and had to ask for it, which we finally got to taste near the end of the meal.

Treated us like very special guests!!
