We have always loved this restaurant. But, for my wife's birthday, the experience was horrible. Our server called out, so the management just let us sit there while everyone else was served. I wanted to leave, but my wife is more forgiving. We declined appetizers and the free birthday dessert. We just wanted to leave as soon as possible. My wife agreed that we should have left when I suggested. But, the sauteed fish that I ordered was the best fish I've had in months. Wife thought her filet was undercooked and she was underwhelmed with the whole experience. We didn't request a correction because we just wanted to leave. We were quiet and respectful. Management NEVER advised us of any problem with our server. We found out from the other server who was helping everyone else in the room but us!! That just doesn't happen with top restaurants. We won't go back. And this is a restaurant we have always loved. Sad, sad, sad.
My first experience at kitchen won't be my last! The ambiance, service, and food were all perfection. This is a cozy little restaurant with a nice vibe; our server was excellent, and everything we ordered was nicely prepared. We sat in the small dining room to the right of the main entrance, where it was quiet enough for good conversation. The main dining room was very energetic, if that's what you're in the mood for. Outside dining was very charming--perfect for good weather.
Recommended to us for quality of the food. Did not disappoint .Sat outside as inside very chilled. Not much of a view . Well cooked and not over fussy food but something to suit all tastes. Good selection with specials. Will definitely return when next in town
This is the third time we'v been to the Kitchen and have found the food and service to be excellent. This time we invited guests who enjoy food and they were very impressed with the restaurant and will definitely be back. One of the nice features is that the chef changes his menu every month and we have found each meal to be excellent.
the kitchen at "Kitchen" is wonderful. Creative, delicious, inspiring . Dinner on a
Saturday eve with a friend and the food was delicious and the service was attentive. Would have stayed longer for more conversation but knew they were waiting for the table which is a little uncomfortable. I would definitely go again and make a later reservation.
Each and every dish a work of art. Started with tuna tartar with mango and avocado, a delicate crispy eggplant tower topped with arugula , and asparagus wrapped in proschiutto and topped with a poach egg. All were beautifully presented and delicious .
Snapper special, chicken milanese , and salmon all delicious . Server Emily was lovely and efficient and went out of her way to ensure a wonderful evening. Highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.
Service was very good. The restaurant is separated in three spaces, we were in the very small center space. We were a party of three and were basically seated with the other couple next to us. Their is no full bar but a good wine list. We started with the ahi tuna, beets and the chopped salad. All three very good portions and flavor. We then had the special of the day snapper, clams fettuccine and salmon. Again all three good with the sides being good portion and flavor. I would have to say the tiny space and limited cocktail selection was very disappointing.
This was our first visit to Kitchen and we will return! Great service, wonderful food and wine. All appetizers, entrees and desserts were fresh and delicious with one exception (the banana crème pie was very bland). Special raves for the Farmhouse Tomatoes & Cucumbers Greek Style, Grilled Branzino, Charred Filet of Beef, Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Kale-Corn-White Bean Succotash and the Coconut Lemon Curd Cake (one of the best cakes we've have ever tasted, incredibly moist and flavorful). We sat in the bar and enjoyed our table. Thanks for a great dining experience!
I love Kitchen; it is a wonderful restaurant. The food and the service are excellent. Just one quibble: The excellent coffee served at the finale was a demitasse, quite literally a half of a small cup. Our bill had already been left on the table (although we hadn't requested it), when we asked for a coffee refill. It was brought to our table promptly and the lovely waitress performed a skillful sleight of hand, replacing our bill with a second bill. We were charged for the second demitasse for two, an additional $7.00. I think that was sneaky and will give me pause before returning another time.
A small, high quality restaurant in the WPB area. This cosy establishment offers exceptional food with attentive service in warm surroundings. Staff have an excellent knowledge of the menu which includes frequently adjusted specials. Would certainly return when next in the area.
We have been several times and enjoyed, food was a little less spectacular this time overall. Think maybe menu needs some new items. Branzino dish very small piece of fish, Chicken Snitchzel needed more flavor as well as roasted chicken dish. Ambiance always good.
Met up with 2 ex coworkers for dinner. It was pouring rain and we were seated right by the door. Every time a customer arrived we got the rain gust and had to experience their relinquishing of rain gears. Given that we had reservations and arrived at the opening I think we could have better seating. Apart from that the food and company were excellent and the service was good. We had salmon, chicken and shrimp for main course and everyone enjoyed their dish. Dessert was great!
