Excellent service, delicious food, beautiful atmosphere made for a great date night!
The food was excellent and the prices are reasonable. The service was goods and fast.
We were seated in a nice room and waited on immediately. The baguettes served tasted like they came from Publix--no crust, squishy and mealy. Our entrees were not terribly hot (meatloaf, swordfish). The wines were very expensive. We will not return to this restaurant.
We enjoyed the branzino (fish), which was a special on the menu; it was simply prepared, charred and crispy. Sides were disappointing though, the cauliflower was not prepared on the spot (not a great consistency), the beets and onions were tasteless (not sweet and could have used seasoning--or perhaps pickling), the Israeli salad a bit plain. The lemon-coconut cake was fluffy and delicious, though not quite lemony enough. Excellent wait staff, nice ambiance.
This was my first experience here. I can’t wait to go back. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful.
The food is always delicious! Save room for the coconut cake!!!
The food was very good and so was the service but I wished they served bread.
Atmosphere was just ok. Food and service exceptional !!!
Food mediocre. Terribly noisy. Better restaurants, around.
One of the best meals we’ve had...ever! Kitchen’s only drawback is it’s popularity! Because the space is crowded with lively patrons, it is noisy. We sat inside at a table for two and initially had difficulty hearing one another. Eventually, we adjusted probably when the delicious first course arrived! The hostess gave us the option to move outside when a table was available, but we were so enthralled, we never chose to do so. Our server was perfect: friendly, accommodating and sensitive to timing. We loved everything about this restaurant!
First time to Kitchen. But we were very impressed and are already planning to return.
Kitchen is my all time favorite restaurant in Florida. Food is excellent - owners try really hard to make it a memorable experience. Ambience nice -sometimes inside can be a little noisy -but I go for the excellent cuisine.
Outstanding chef. One of best most talented in south Florida.
The food was not special. Somewhat dissolved. I’ve been here 4 times and just not impressed.
The food was excellent! We are having a 999th BParty in May and we tried all of the menu items and everything from the salad was perfect!
Carpaccio did not have much flavor. The salmon was overwhelmed by the produce. Not consistent with similar more flavorful attempts in other restaurants. Meatloaf was very good and I would recommend. The schnitzel was good however it too was overwhelmed with produce. Drinks were very expensive. We had (4) Tito’s on the rocks or with a splash of soda and for $15 dollars each is pricey. I understand that this is common in the area but I could purchase (2) 1.75’s for that. Seems to be the going rate in the area and I’d say is my break point to stop ordering when I dine. If I’m paying those drink prices, I should be overwhelmed by my food so that I don’t think about it. I will be back knowing full well that the effort is there and my next experience could be much different.
Hi have always had an excellent experience when dining at Kitchen. I highly recommend the “Simple” fish of the day. The restaurant has wonderful side dishes and allows you to pair these with your entree. Just perfect!
Excellent in every way!
Very upbeat and pretty place, however, the prices were very high for the food. I had the schnitzel which so so and my date had the hamburger which was much better than expected. The original bartender was very nice but after that the service tapered off. So so food for a high price tag in a strip mall, sorry but I would not return.
Outstanding food that isn’t overly complicated and our server was delightful, attentive &, knowledgeable without hovering.
Wonderful Grilled Branzini. My husband had the Chicken Schnitzel. We had the best coconut cake I have ever tasted. Wonderful combination of flavors for simple food cooked to perfection. Who could ask for more? I am thinking of going soon for lunch.
We love this restaurant for a good catch-up meal with friends. It isn't too loud and the food always delivers. I had the salmon and it was excellent! You should add fresh grapefruit juice to your mixers menu and then I can't think of anything else to change!
Love the restaurant. Food is delicious. Location not too appealing.
This is a wonderful restaurant in West Palm Beach. We sat outside. Service was caring and prompt. One of us had scallops, one had the seafood stew and one had the schnitzel. All were prepared perfectly. Apps were especially inventive and desserts were tasty too. It's a little pricey but well worth it.
First time diners. We ordered branzino (a special and extremely good) and pork chop. The pork chop was very tasty, but too tough. Server suggested another, but chef came out and suggested another entree be ordered. Grilled salmon was delicious. The chef treated us to dessert.
Will definitely return. Service was attentive and friendly.
We have lived very close to Kitchen for over 5 years but this is the first time we tried it. All we can say is "WOW!" It is very cool inside and the food was excellent! I tried the Chicken Schnitzel and it was the best I have ever had. My wife tried the corn and leek risotto and that was incredible as well. We will definitely be going back.
We had a lovely dinner at Kitchen, the staff was professional and the food was good. My only issue was why were so many tables empty and still empty after we left and yet we couldn't make reservations for a bit later. I understand the table turnover but, there were many, many tables outside and in the 3 other rooms. hmm. Perhaps next time I'll call the restaurant directly and skip OpenTable. Will try it again.
My husband and I dined here for my birthday with 4 of our friends. I had the branzino and my husband had the meatloaf. Both dishes were delicious. The chef came over and greeted us because he knew we had lived in Philadelphia. Our group was very impressed. The evening was topped off with fabulous desserts - the sampler - the blueberry cobbler and the coconut cake. We will definitely be back!
The food was nothing out of the ordinary. The desert menu was very limited.
The food was delicious and well prepared. The wine list (including Champagne) was not up to the standards of the restaurant.
Flavors were exceptional, appetizers were really good. I had Duck and it was overcooked, almost no pink meat, scallops were crunchy on outside and just ok on inside. Desserts were perfect as I had the sampler and my wife had the chocolate pie. No second cup of coffee for dessert, although it was really good.
An absolute must for any food lover in Palm Beach County!
Food was very good. Friend had the duck which was a bit dry, but tasty. Fish was perfectly cooked. Presntation was excellent. Felt a bit over priced...extra charge for bread. Parking was only valet unless you don’t mind walking a little. We had a disabled person, so not a choice. Altogether, a lovely dinner in a friendly place with quality fare.
The menu was creative and appealing. Our only complaint is we felt rushed so they could get another turn on the table.
The food and service was outstanding. The ambience is good with a 70's Art crowd. We enjoyed this.
Each dish was beautifully prepared and served. My husband had the wonderful pork chop and I the wonderful Salmon with beautiful abundant herbs baked in parchment paper.
Kitchen is absolutely one of my favorite places to eat in Palm Beach. We have dinner here all the time and love everything they make. The simple fish is always amazing, as well as a new favorite of mine the simple chicken. The schnitzel is also delicious and the meatloaf too. I honestly have never had a bad thing on the menu.
My favorite dessert is the coconut cake and the berry cobbler. Just dreaming about it as I write this. If you are considering going here don’t think twice. I guarantee you will love it.
our favorite restaurant.
Just sorry we didn't know of it earlier in the season.
Have recommended Kitchen to many friends
Fresh local Florida Fish was done perfectly with grilled lemon, parsley & olive oil and the lamb pasta was outstanding. Beautiful wine choices to accompany. Place looks average but food will have us returning.
Always great service and excellent food; fresh ingredients and quality preparation.
