Waiter was not very knowledgeable.
Went for the Sunday Brunch, excellent spread and everything was amazing!
Good food, priced very reasonably. The fired chicken was just right and the mac n' cheese was awesome
Our waitress was amazing and patient and kind.
The food was great!
The food was great! The service was great! The location is great! Comforting southern cuisine, just what we wanted when visiting Nashville with clients.
Preds pregame brunch
Kitchen Notes is a hidden treasure for Nashville residents headed downtown! Easy access, valet parking, great menu and friendly staff. Easy walk to Bridgestone, Schermerhorn, and all of Lower Broadway!
My sister and I stopped in for dinner pre-Preds. We both decided we were in the mood for chicken, so we shared the full bucket. We opted for mac and cheese and whipped potatoes for the sides that were included in the meal. The chicken was crispy where it should be and juicy where you wanted it to be. I had part of the mac and cheese, she had part of the potatoes. There was just waaaaay too much food. We didn't know they start you out with super-yummy biscuits. Sadly, we left on the table half of the chicken, half of each of the sides, and several biscuits and muffins. The server was very attentive, and knew we were headed to the game, so she made sure we had plenty of time to get our order in, and eat. The host/ hostess stand was manned by a gentleman who took his job VERY seriously, and is seemed that he was a bit brusque with some of the other staff. But overall, we'll be back for another pre-game dinner.
We went for brunch, and they had the MOST DELICIOUS buffet. I have to say that $25 was expensive, but it was all-you-can-eat, and the food was to die for. Those biscuits...don't even get me started biscuits. I feel sad that I can't eat those every single day. Absolutely delicious in every way.
Excellent breakfast buffet! The biscuit bar and pancakes were my fave, along with a spicy bloody mary. I was surprised to walk in and get a table on a Saturday at 10am.
Our group ordered 8 apppetizers off the seasonal menu. All were excellent. The bread basket was amazing. Great choice for almost any occasion.
Great service and good menu options with fantastic downtown Nashville location. Valet parking makes Kitchen Notes a great meal option for an evening downtown!
Food and service were excellent! Bloody Mary & Cosmo were great as were the Deviled Eggs, Fried Green Tomatoes, Crab Cake & Salmon. Really a wonderful experience!
Our party of four ordered different entree and everybody was very happy with their food.
Melanie provided excellent service and the entrees we ordered were Southern classics done very well; shrimp & grits, meatloaf & mashed potatoes & green beans. It was simply great home-style comfort done very well and the homemade biscuits that accompanied the meal were equally amazing. This is the 3rd time we’ve dined here and I cannot believe that this place isn’t packed nightly, because the food, service, and atmosphere are so welcoming. We will definitely be back because each meal has been a unique experience.
Limited menu but food is great. And the biscuits! - Excellent! Waiter was very friendly and attentive.
We had Easter Brunch at Kitchen Notes. it was Fabulous! We loved the Shrimp, Crab Lags, Prime Rib, Dessert Bar, omelette Station. Our waiter Hannah was very nice and brought us refills without asking. Even the guy making omelette was super friendly!
Overall Great Experience!
We went for Easter Brunch. It was so fabulous!! The whole family enjoyed it.
The Easter Brunch was wonderful with a wide selection, so there was something for everyone. My husband was in heaven with the smoked oysters on the half-shell. I especially enjoyed their strawberry spinach salad which I think is one of the best I have tasted. The entire presentation was lovely and the wait staff was very attentive.
Easter 2018 was awesome. The vast selection of meats, fish and seafood was wonderful. The spring vegies were perfect and dessert was great as always. Well done.
Kitchen Notes is a favorite - we meet friends here almost every month for many reasons, including the food and service.
Biscuits and Fried Chicken were awesome!
Very good food and service.
Out of all the Nashville restaurants we dined, this was our favorite. Food was hands-down the best!
We were there for the Sunday brunch buffet. While a bit expensive (about $30/person), the food was absolutely delicious, they had a large selection, the price included coffee/tea/juice, the decor was nice, and the service was great.
Ok just not special
In my opinion the buffet seemed to be turned around. Breakfast items were at the end of the line - luncheon items in the middle and not enough fruit and salad items. The desserts were to die for. Had an unfortunate happening whereby we went back to the buffet and came back to find out table had been cleared. Our wait person explained that the bus boy was new and from out of the country and hadn't been there too long and wasn't sure of the way clearing was done. Otherwise it was a good experience
Best breakfast/brunch in Nashville. Quality and choices were more than we expected. Blueberry biscuits are a must try.
Breakfast-great service, great food. I'd recommend to others. Next time I will not miss the buffet!
Celebrated a friends birthday
Breakfast was fantastic as always. The omelets are wonderful and the fruit was so sweet for it to be March!! I also love the fact you have such a wide variety of farm to table to pick from.
Really lovely . Ability to chat because it's quiet a lovely server and well cooked food
We had a quick lunch in between convention meetings. The service was prompt even thought the restaurant was full. The biscuits are the best !1
My husband and I had brunch here during the NCAA tournament and we enjoyed it. There was a good assortment of salads, seafood, biscuits, pastries, eggs (including omelets). The price is fairly high (and does not include liquor) but for a leisurely Sunday in downtown Nashville, it was worth it.
Not bad if you just want a bite to eat, not much imagination on the menu, aloof service that does pay attention to you
Pricey...but food was good. Would love to come and teach you how to make tomato gravy 😍
Love the “old fashioned” pancakes!
Hands down the best. Love this place. All I can say is let’s do it again.
Gary our server stood out. Excellent food for a hotel.
