Kitchen Notes - Omni Nashville Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I were looking for somewhere close to Bridgestone to have a nice date night dinner before a concert. Kitchen Notes was the only place with an opening during our preferred time. What a surprise! Our server was so nice and made great recommendations for an appetizer and main courses. My husband did the half fried chicken with greens and mac & cheese and I got the shrimp and grits. We both cleaned our plates! Make sure to start with the deviled eggs. Would highly recommend this place!
We went before a concert at Bridgestone and this place was awesome. The food was great and the service was amazing. They had a group that was there and the manager and our waiter were constantly making sure we were okay with the noise level. They even sent out deviled egg appetizer for free to make up for the noisy group (which my wife and I didn't think it was that loud). Food was so good and portions were so much that we didn't leave room for desert. Would absolutely recommend and can't wait to go back, and this time leave room for the desert.
Lovely decor and good service, but pretty much a traditional brunch buffet. Nothing outstanding about the food or the choices. Many of the warmers were practically empty. Sausage was not even warm. The hype about the biscuit bar is just hype. Again, nothing special.
The food was outstanding. We started off with the fried green tomatoes and the sweet potato tater tots. Both were great. For our main course, we chose the meatloaf and chicken pot pie. Everything was excellent. My only complaint was that the wine was a little overpriced ($15 per glass). Great dinner overall though and a fantastic dining experience.
The menu attracted us and we were able to get a last minute reservation. It's a beautiful restaurant in the Omni. Great location downtown too. The food was excellent. I recommend the pork belly and hoe cakes app! Loved the bucket of chicken and steak entrees too. Cocktails were great. The only drawback was the extremely slow service. I expected more attentive service from the Omni. I would recommend this restaurant for the food, drinks, and ambiance, but if service is always that slow, go only if you're patient.
LOVED Kitchen Notes! I was in town for a conference and ended up eating here 3 times because it was so delicious! The breakfast buffet is a must; every item was delectable, and I rarely say that about buffets. Had the beet salad, shrimp and grits, and pot pie--all fabulous. Highly recommend!
Kitchen Notes seems to have some front of house confusion. Did not have confidence from the hostess at the door. Our waiter made up for it. The food quality was surprisingly excellent. Nice touch with biscuits and assorted jams to start the meal. Very solid spot. A lot of families with young children, probably hotel guests.
We weren't sure how dinner would be because all the reviews were for lunch and breakfast. It was perfect. Just what we were looking for. Nice selection of meals, beautiful restaurant. We were extremely pleased. We ordered an array of apps to share, the chicken pot pie, the sliders and mac and cheese for the kids. Finished with a delicious banana pudding. Nothing disappointed. For us the location was perfect. Just on the outskirts of the crazy/busy scene.
The setting was conducive to fine dining but the prices were very reasonable. The food was delicious and the portions were large with a good selection that anyone could find a dish they would like. The biscuits were amazing and reminded me of my grandmother. The service was excellent with a delightful personal touch. This is a gem!!
Such a really nice spot. The food is amazing. We only had breakfast and we went back AGAIN two days later for brunch. The service was great too. Our waitress was Nancy and she went above and beyond. There's a desert table, fruits, breads, a roast beef everything. It was all amazing. Very good seasonings and great servers. I wish we had one in dc!
Kitchen Notes is still one of our most favorite restaurants in the downtown area. All of the food choices are well prepared and delicious. The portions are huge and we always over eat with the biscuits and corn bread! Definitely try the sweet potato tater tots.
