Kitchen Notes - Omni Nashville
Excellent! Kayla was great!
Good food, good service. Great for a casual business lunch
Our server immediately made us feel welcomed and cared for and was so engaging with the grandchildren. We had an absolutely wonderful family meal together. My 8 year old granddaughter announced she wants to come back and celebrate her and her gramp’s birthdays there! High praise indeed!
Good, too much time to make food
Our server was excellent. Very respectful, attentive..
Mediocre food. Their fabled fried chicken was small and dry. Sides were tasteless, though biscuits were great. Server was very attentive, but drinks only came half-way through meal, because "bar was busy". And dining area was only one third full. Ambiance was more like a cafeteria than restaurant,
and the noise level was so great we could barely converse across the table. Huge disappointment.
Sometimes we’ll come over to Kitchen Notes before a Preds game. Everything about dinner was fabulous! The meatloaf was delicious, and our waiter was very attentive and gave GREAT service.
Great experience. My go to restaurant downtown. Love the valet parking.
Great atmosphere, fantastic service and waiter. Food was less than to be desired but presented nicely
Great food, fast service!
Definitely a great place for brunch in Nashville!
Excellent evening! Service was outstanding and the food was incredibly delicious. I was there about 3 years ago and returned. It was better than the first time. Pickle juice fried chicken was very moist and tasty. Kayla was an incredible server too. The biscuits are legendary -- plus the jam. Great dinner before the symphony. Thank you.
This was a meal where missteps in the kitchen and bar let down excellent front-of-house service. The pace of the meal was off from start to finish. Cocktails (which were well thought out and tasty) and the starter (pork belly - probably the best thing we ate all night) took forever and then wine and dinner came quickly. Several mains missed the mark on salt and spice. But, the service was quick and attentive without being officious and the restaurant was very quiet for a Friday night in tourist season in Nashville.
Good service and food quantity for the price
Friends, family and I have been to Kitchen Notes on many occasions. The food has been very good and the service friendly. On Sunday the food was lacking in presentation and the service was not friendly at all.
We will be back.
Brunch was AMAZING, per usual.
Service was very slow on a busy Sunday morning. Very unattentive, especially considering it was a buffet. Price wasn't bad for the quality and diversity of food options.
Great food and nice atmosphere
The server was great but overwhelmed with the number of tables he was covering. As a result, service was much slower than usual. Otherwise, a good experience.
Very disappointed with the food. Taste and quality.
Enjoyed the shrimp and grits very much (had a nice, warm spice afterward.) Great biscuits!
We were seated right away, but were only given the option for breakfast at 11:00 am. The waiter seemed confused and brought the wrong food. This to me is an understanding mistake and no big deal. But in order to save face he tried to blame the mistake on our party not speaking clearly. He came off as rude. He also asked if change was needed when paid with cash. This is a major no-no to me; a server should never assume they’re getting a tip. The food was excellent, despite the fact that we weren’t offered the option for lunch. Service was on the slower side, which is somewhat of an issue on a business lunch.
Probably the best buffet breakfast I’ve ever had!
The restaurant helped me orchestrate an amazing surprise birthday party for my wife... they helped me plan it 4 months in advance and the food and service were AMAZING!!!
Very mediocre. Service bordered bad.
Our service was very slow and the restaurant wasn’t full. We were a large party however service was below expectations. The menu is very limited for lunch
Kayla was amazing!! She was super fun to talk to and totally connected with us. My husband and I split the pot pie and chef was amazing and split it for us! This is always one of my favorite places to dine in Nashville.
We always enjoy kitchen notes. Fresh scrambled eggs and biscuits. I highly recommend to anyone. Very well worth the money.
The food was delicious
It was a great experience for a pre-Schermerhorn concert! The chicken pot pie was smazing
Outstanding buttermilk biscuits! Took friends for first time, and they all enjoyed their various brunch selections. Service could be better!
This was our first time to visit the Omni in Nashville, and the hotel is definitely worth seeing. Kitchen Notes was good, I especially was delighted that they had gluten free biscuits, a real treat! My husband had the cheeseburger, and it was outstanding. I had the salmon dish, and I have to admit I was a bit underwhelmed with it, have had better. With all that said, our server, Mina, was outstanding and efficient, and the ambiance was lovely. Great for people watching through the big picture windows!
My daughter ordered the chicken she said it was amazing. I ordered the chicken pot pie loved it it was topped with a bit to much bread crumbs for me but I know to ask for less next time also it came with the chicken sticking out of the middle which I thought was amazing.. I cant wait to return for breakfast or brunch.
The food and ambiance was incredible. We had wonderful service from the hostess staff to wait staff. My only negative would be the value. We had brunch and for 2 adults and one child (under 12, so $15) the bill with 15% tip was $98.00. Again, the food was phenomenal and the service was great, but this was way more than I would usually pay for brunch.
I chose the restaurant because it had 4.5 stars. My fresh-made omelette was good. Biscuits and blueberry pancakes were in the warming pan too long and were cold and hard.
You can’t go wrong with brunch at Kitchen Notes. The quality of food is unmatched for a brunch buffet.
Overall great experience. However, the server was slow, and didn’t seem pleased we ordered from the menu for brunch rather than ordering the buffet.
I am always pleased with the food, which is why I keep coming back. And I was pleasantly surprised that they didn’t try to cram 6 of us at a 4 person table, which usually happens despite having a reservation. However, we were by the dessert station in a spot by the window and our server only came by once before bringing us the check. He also never asked initially if we wanted waffles or anything not on the brunch buffet. Since he never returned we couldn’t order it. He made several passes around the rest of the dining room and never even glanced over his shoulder to see that we were out of juice and coffee, and needed plates cleared.
Food freshness is important to me. The service was
Very overpriced for what is offered. The waiter was either busy or just not good at his job. Our water glasses were constantly empty and we had to wait and spot him to flag him down for a carafe of water for a table of four adults and two kids. Our buffet plates were not taken away & we had to stack them. He handed the bill to me & walked away-implying to me I had to pay at the front register. Which was not the case, once I got up to the register they informed me that I was supposed to pay my server.
We went early on a Sunday with the kids. We had 3 adults at 23 dollars each. Maybe one of us at 23 dollars worth of food. The spread is not as good before 9 am.
