Well its Coronavirus Nation right now so a gorgeous 200 person dining room in the middle of the SEC Mens Hoops Tourney, and I was 1 of only 5 people in the entire restaurant. This was definitely NOT because of the food, because it was quite lovely. The fear of going out for most turned into a lovely personal dining experience, with great service and food. I had their devil eggs starter, and they were very good topped with the cracklin's and hot sauce. The She-Crab soup was very nice as well with a decent amount of fresh crab meat, fire roasted corn, crispy shallots and pickled Fresno peppers. I topped it all off with the southern classic, Shrimp & Grits entree, which was a very creamy and cheesy grits that were well seasoned, topped with nice sauteed shrimp in their smokey tomato and thick cut bacon sauce. All pretty well priced too. I'd definitely come back again.
Made our conference stay a pleasure. Highly recommended and most appreciated.
Great for a group meal if you are attending an event or conference in Nashville.
Delicious lunch with prompt service during a busy time. We tried the chicken pot pie, shrimp and grits and the party melt. We all liked our food. Lemonade was also excellent. Server efficiently handled our need for separate checks.
Excellent food & a quiet atmosphere.
Brunch at Kitchen Notes on Sunday was excellent; the omelet made to order was delicious , bacon is always cooked perfectly, and the variety of food covers a wide range of tastes and ages. Delicious cheese grits, prime rib and loved the biscuit bar. Also loved the fresh fruit, and salad. The desserts are a special treat, bite size portions so you can try several ones, great variety of chocolate, puddings, cakes, tarts, and more! The only item I didn't love was the chicken pot pie, it had a Panko topping instead of a traditional crust so that was the only item I'd pass on. Would definitely recommend Sunday brunch for a special dining experience, this is our 2nd time and was just as delicious as the first back in January, 2020.
While guests at the Omni my wife and I went for Valentine’s dinner. Had a very challenging experience. Didn’t complain that night bc the place was busy. My wife left a message the next day and got a prompt call back from Mandy in management. My wife explained the problems we had (server was very nice...but otherwise not a good evening). We didn’t ask for anything but felt a call was justified since it was a special occasion price fixe dinner. Mandy went above and beyond to make things right even though we didn’t ask for that. She invited us back for Sunday brunch two days later. That experience and the food were great. Highly recommend brunch and very impressed with Mandy’s willingness to address our concerns without any demands from us that she do so.
Everything was excellent! Only "problem" we had was understanding the accent of the waiter, but he was super friendly and we didn't have any actual issues. Everything was phenomenal from beginning to end. Well worth every cent paid!!
Lovely restaurant! Food was amazing especially the Shrimp and Grits. I literally dreamed about those mouthwatering shrimp. Service was impeccable! We will definitely return again in the near future.
Everything was wonderful!
Kitchen Notes is a restaurant that we return to often. The food is very good and the value for the area is excellent!
Good place to eat before going to Bridgestone. Gluten free options available.
Lovely setting, great food. Server was a little overwhelmed. A little pricey
Terrible service. We could not get tea refilled after multiple requests. The server didn’t take away our used plates. It was the worst service I’ve had in nashville a long time.
We had a fabulous time and we spoiled royal!!! We'll be back :)
Charged my card twice. Called multiple times to rectify. Unfortunately ruined an otherwise satisfactory experience.
Sunday brunch. Blueberry sausage was outstanding. Shrimp had some soft fleshy stuff where they had been cut. Did not eat. Waited about 10 minutes for buttermilk biscuits. Sausage gravy was just okay. Prime rib was very good. Server was very nice but unattended to our needs. Was nice to give me a to-go container so I could take my daughter some cookies. Wife commented brunch was good but not worth the price. I agree.
Delicious breakfast!! Exceeded all expectations!! Such flavorful food!!
The service here is outstanding and the food really good.
We went to Kitchen Notes as part of our date night with the Symphony. When we arrived it was very early and the restaurant was empty. We were greeted ad seated right away. Our waitress was Kaitlyn and she did a fantastic job. She suggested drinks and also told us about her favorite items on the menu. We started with the wedge salad and homemade biscuits, both were fabulous. We both had the Shrimp and Grits, it was a very generous portion and the flavor was very good!! We also shared the Coconut Cake which was absolutely divine!!
Awesome customer service! The food was amazing.....I will def. Be back!
Food was just ok, comparable to Cracker Barrel. Occasion, early dinner before concert at Bridgestone.
This review has nothing to do with our server. The prices were expensive I had fried chicken that was good however the tater tarts and seared vegetables were not good at all. Tater tots were really mashed potatoes fried but tasteless. Veggies were raw and very tasteless. They did comp us for those two items. Overall the value is not good.
Received extremely rude service from first server. Actually argued loudly with me. Dining experience was saved by manager (Chris I think) who then assigned another server - Katlyn. She salvage the deal and was incredible. I've had her service there before and she is the very best. The guy I had before is the very worst and should not be working there. We will be back again (have been there quite a few times) but will never allow being served by the one individual.
Our server, Keith, was fantastic. We request him every time we come in because he always provides great service!
The shrimp and grits are amazing! The service was outstanding, and I loved the decor. Will definitely go back!
It was a very nice time for my wife and I to get caught up, the food was good and then we went to the Nashville Symphony, it was a short walk.
The menu is uninspiring and food was "just OK" without much character. I like to cook and I have prepared much better at home.
New Years Day breakfast — shoved over into a corner after asking for a window seat, no attention from the waiter who spoke broken English and super fast that we had a very hard time understanding, and where we sat was right between the kitchen and buffet, so high traffic and the waiters kept hitting my ourse in the back of the chair, so I moved it to the floor, only for then it seeming to be in the way of everyone walking. My eggs were way over cooked, bacon was soggy, and the grits dried out. We are here last year for New Year’s Day and had a wonderful experience. Will be doubtful if we return.
We love coming to Kitchen notes but I wanted to leave a note to say that Gary is just a fabulous server. With a buffet, the service does not always take a front seat, but every time we have Gary as a server he simply goes above and beyond!
Good food, and lots of it.
Imaginative menu. Well-prepared food. Good southern flavors done in a unique way. Restaurant comped our southern biscuits as a holiday treat, which was a quality touch. We would go back.
Day after Christmas family tradition.
Best brunch in Nashville, especially for Christmas!
