One of the best turkish authentic restaurants in US! Great appetizers, entrees and dessert options we enjoyed every bite of each plate.
The cauliflower appetizer is my go to dish; just wish it was served a bit warmer. And the chicken kebobs are great.
Mediocre food
Delicious and lively little place for great Turkish/Grecian cuisine. We will definitely go back.
Food was very good.service great. Atmosphere special but low pressure.
Very pleasant meal. will go again.
incredible food. We ordered many plates to share and everything was soooo delicious!
Very nice staff too.
Simply the best! The food is amazing and the owner Emrah is so friendly and helpful. A true gem.
Excellent service, delicious food. Happy hour is no longer available, which is a shame. I would like tot see more options on the dessert menu.
Five stars restaurant!
The service was great, they were very attentive and polite. We ordered the cauliflower, crispy Brussels sprouts, falafels, and dip trio. The dip was def the table favorite. I thought he hummus would be my personal fave, but the tomato dip was amazing. The crispy parts outside of the Brussels was amazing, but the inside was a little ‘brussely’ tasting because they used the large size sprouts. We finished with the baklava, which was amazingggg. They use whip cream in the middle, which I’m not a fan of, but it mostly squeezes out when you cut into it. I’d go back!
We were hoping to give our Turkish friend a taste of home, and this place succeeded with decent heydarī, beyti and a lovely 2011 Kalecik Karasī wine that paired well with everything. She was especially delighted by the wine. We loved other things too, some of them more Greek than Turkish, like Moussaka and a delicious Halloumi appetizer. Overall, a great experience with attentive servers, nice dining room, delicious food, and no pressure to vacate our table at the end so we were able to have a nice conversation.
Absolutely amazing! Turkish is one of my favorite cuisines. The prices are a little high and the portion sizes are a little small but the food is definitely worth either qualm. I've been here 4 times now and it's been a flavor fiesta each time. Only other issue: the napkins are a little residuey so beware before putting one on your lap...
We enjoyed our experience so much .. all fo it so goo! The food, wine, service and vibe! Our meal was so tasty with lots of different choices of veg, meats, apps, etc. The service is fantastic ... friendly, engaging, informative! We will be back!
The food was extremely tasty and presented really well. The dessert was scrumptious.
Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Best place for date! Delicious food! Great service!!
To my taste Kitchen Istanbul is a downgrade from Troya, which had this space formerly. I rated the food so low because they’ve eliminated a lot of my favorites like manti and beef turlu. The moussaka is too heavy and cheesy for me. The mezes, however, are as good as ever - if I find myself there again I’d just have a number of small plates. The wine list is good but unusually expensive for a small neighborhood place. They do have a fair by the glass and beer selection. Overall, there are much better Turkish options out there.
Delicious dining with excellent and personal service.
Solid food and ambience. I was expecting a bit larger portions for a Turkish place and less formal dining but overall a very enjoyable experience.
The whole experience was fantastic! Food, service and wine - fantastic ❤️
We had an amazing time with the owners of the restaurant - our 1st time and we will be back - food was excellently prepared and tasteful/good wine list/great atmosphere
Every dish was better than the last! I will come back again and again.
Food Mediocre
Over priced
Slow Service
Key entree on menu unavailable early in evening
Manager told my colleague the restaurant is not open 5 minutes early but seated us after unkind greeting
Excellent food. We got a bunch of items from the mezze menu and one entree (for two adults) and were thrilled with all of it. Have the kunefe for dessert! Our server, Lindsay, was a total delight.
Kitchen Istanbul is simply phenomenal. I brought a group of ten there for my birthday and could not be happier with the service and food we received. The Turkish cigars, cauliflower, lamb kebabs, and baklava were all divine. I wish I could come here every day.
We had a wonderful meal at Kitchen Istanbul. The service staff kept our water glass full and brought the food quickly. We loved every dish we had and the waiter was very helpful steering me to dairy-free options.
Excellent!! I am talking about the food AND the service. We went with our server's suggestions and he was spot on. The cauliflower was amazing, the lamb kabobs were cooked to perfection. The dessert, kunefe, was over the top. Go! If you haven't been.
The food was great! The hostess neglected to check off my arrival, as a result my reservation was considered a no show by you, which was a big waste of my time.
We've eaten at Kitchen Istanbul for quite some time and have taken friends there, too. The service is always prompt, gracious and efficient. The food is great! Hard to compare it to other types of restaurants as it is unique in its approach to food.
We've generally just had the smaller plates, but tons of them, and finish a meal feeling comfortable, not stuffed, and very happy. It's a great place!
Great food, excellent service, nice ambiance, unpretentious. But it has become popular and that means a high noise level at peak times. Go early to be able to have a quiet conversation over wine and delicious appetizers.
You can make a meal here entirely from the wonderful mezzos, including the roasted brussels sprouts on everyone's table, the roasted cauliflower, the muhammarah spread, and little meatballs. However, the lamb chops are really superb as well. Everything is flavorful. The service is fine, no one hovers, but someone is always there if you need anything. During a weekday evening meal you can relax and chat and visit with friends.
Service was great and all four of us enjoyed the food, especially the appetizers. Do yourself a favor and order the muhamarra and the roasted cauliflower -- I would come back just for those two. And the kunefe! A dessert I never would have ordered if I hadn't seen a glowing review -- it's delicious!
Enjoyed another meal, this time dinner with friends for my birthday, at Kitchen Istanbul. Previously had lunch there which was very good too. The food and service were great. We had a very nice dining experience. Will be going again for lunch on the weekends as work close by.
This place was awesome - great food, great wine - I can't wait to go back!
Lovely setting, very warm and efficient service, and wonderful food.
Good value. I absolutely loved the cauliflower appetizer. The spices were phenomenal
Great food and service! My wife and daughter enjoyed there meal as well
Excellent service and food.
Food was good, but not as great as in the past visits. Cauliflower was too spicey. Still pretty good.
The food is excellent. Wine list extensive, the staff is friendly and knowledgable!!
A Friend has a severe sesame allergy and the waitress/ kitchen was informative/ accommodating , nice and attentive. I think the secret is out!!!
I love this restaurant. Staff are attentive and patient, and the food is delicious. Interesting wines, including Lebanese. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
