Amazing service by wait staff of our large party. Food was delish, we wwnt to the bar afterwards and met the owner who was more than accomidating!
It was a nice experience
One of my favorite local hangouts
this time I've meat an ex-coworker whom I did not see for a number of years
it was very nice to reconnect over a very tasty lunch and wonderful service
Hartily recommend to anyone who has not been here yet
Food was not hot
Hash browns were not browned or crisp as ordered
Wrap had very little chicken and was full of lettuce
Bacon was not crisp well done as ordered
Went on thanksgiving for casual dinner And to watch football in the bar. Our server was MIA most of the time and they weren’t that busy! Okay food, but poor service made it an unsatisfactory experience. They had beautiful photos of cosmos on their Facebook page but clearly bartender on duty did not know how to make one. Would have sent it back, but took 15 minutes just to get it.
We went for Thanksgiving. It was out first visit, but we’ll definitely be returning! The venue itself is lovely. Open, well decorated, quality furniture. We were greeted by 2 very nice hostesses who seated us immediately even though we were early. The food was phenomenal! We ordered from the Thanksgiving menu (19.95 for a 3 course meal- 3 choices!) We both ordered the steak, with roasted potato and mixed vegetables, and were blown away by the quality and the taste. The salads were enormous and delicious. The plating was beautiful. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. Even though it was pretty busy, we never felt rushed nor forgotten. We enjoyed the late 80s and 90s background music. The volume was ideal- lots of conversations happening, but we weren’t struggling to hear each other. The pumpkin martini was strong and completely on point. Both the apple pie and the pumpkin cheesecake were superb. This may be our new date night place!
Great experience to help my friend enjoy their birthday, great food/drink, and our waiter Peter was awesome. I'll be back again soon.
The food never gets better. I keep thinking it will, but it doesn't. We will officially never return.
I have been going to Kitchen for a few years now and our servers have been hit-and-miss. But this time, our server was extremely polite, professional and quick to address our concerns. The food was just as good as the service.
The Ahi tuna salad is very good. It's so good I went back and had the same thing 3 nights later. Both nights I had tickets to see a show at the Keswick Theater in Glenside, which is only about 10 minutes away. We were able to have dinner here and catch the show, so I can recommend it as a pre-theater event. The mussels appetizer is also generous enough to share, and was delicious.
The noise level was great until the live performer started in the bar. The volume was too loud and conversation became too hard with my 88 year old mother.
We enjoyed our date night at the Kitchen Bar. It was our first time there and we were met with a cordial welcome from a smiling face. The service was very good & helpful. The food & drink were both excellent. We will definitely visit again, soon!
We were here for the Sunday Morning Eagles game - friendly, fun group of people and great service. Breakfast was yummy as were the Bloody Mary's.
Service and food were good. Parking is a little tricky.
Very good food. The noise was slightly loud but it was very busy so sometimes it can’t be helped.
Kitchen bar was great food was pretty good, service was great.
Looks like I found my new go to spot.
Surprisingly good local place, previously a local diner now renovated nicely. Food very good, bar lively at happy hour, also good for parties and banquets. We'll be back!
Good food and atomsphere. Pleasant staff except for waitess. But enjoyed the experience. Will definitely go back.
It was my first time at Kitchen Bar and I was impress with the service and the food. I am please that they offer reservations because my and I went their to celebrate my birthday. To my surprise the waiter came out with a slice of cake for me to celebrate the day. My youngest daughter recommended this place to me and I am glad she did. We are had a wonderful time.
I love the very varied menu here. I also like that you are not crowded in. It was very conducive for our extended family Sunday dinner to relax and catch up with good food and drink. Our food was well prepared, and exactly what we ordered. Our server Elizabeth was knowledgeable about the menu, and so pleasant. We will be back.
Service was extremely slow and then their computers went down and we had to wait a long time for our check. No communication about the computers going down, just avoidance until we finally flagged down someone for our check. Poor, poor service. Won’t go back.
very good friendly service, good food and good value .
Delicious as always!! Fish and chips superb!! Crab cakes are the best around!!! Great service!! Always a favorite. We will return soon!!
Treated granddaughter to dinner wanted to sit , eat and catch up in a comfortable dining atmosphere. Kitchen Bar was the perfect environment. The waiter (Peter) was very polite and the food was delicious with the exception of the grilled chicken Cesar salad my wife and I ordered ( the dressing was sweet) it was terrible. This is why I could only rate our overall experience and the food at four stars. Hopefully the chef will make the corrections and I would revisit this establishment again.
The food was extremely disappointing. I’ve had the dish several times and it was typically good. The server was not focused which left us many times waiting to either ask him for something or to actually receive what we asked him for. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all.
Kitchen bar was a very nice experience, not particularly gourmet, but good fresh food. The sangria was particularly delicious and added a nice touch to the meal. The waiter was very attentive
Great service/food/lunch specials/drink specials. No complaints.
The food was adequate, but nothing special. The mashed potatoes were tasteless. The hummus was delicious, and the cream of broccoli soup tasted like canned chicken broth, a few bits of broccoli, and a bit of cream. My friend had a hamburger and said it was okay. The ambience was fine and the service was excellent. I would call it just an ordinary restaurant with a vibrant bar scene.
From what I have heard, the drinks are excellent.
First time here and I wasn't disappointed. Jerry our server was superb. Met our every need. Food was fast and taste awesome. Dreaming of cheese steak rolls
We ended up here as there were no restaurants in the area with seats at the time we needed. We arrived and the place was empty at 7:00 on a Friday. Food was acceptable but far below what you would expect for the prices. Mr Hulayev needs to step up the game here or this place is going under.
Dress codes alienate casual people during hot weather
Great atmosphere! Daily drink specials are a plus.
Service was average food blended staff unattended slow
Great breakfast - great waitress. What more can I say?
The vegetable wrap was extremely salty and we had to return it go get another item. The vegetable flatbread pizza was very good and would recommend that. The service was a bit slow, as the waitress had several tables on the other side of the room and was unable to get over to our table very often.
When we need a great drink and a snack, we go to our favorite place for Long Island Iced Teas and their famous Cheese Steak Rolls! Oh, and all the other menu items are great too.
The service was exceptional, keeping drinks topped off and spacing out the serving at just the right pace. The food was also very good and has reasonable prices.
We generally love having Sunday morning breakfast at The Kitchen Bar. The limited menu options for Father's Day was a disappointment as well as the inflated prices on that day.
Server was super polite but slower than the usual pace. We enjoyed our food!
Food was great I had the seafood combo! Our waiter was very slow bringing our drinks and checking on us. The NOISE level was just off the charts, I couldn't hear my company and had to shout at each other. Very bad, too open, they need some sound absorbers.
