Kitchen 305 Ratings and Reviews
If i can give a review of 0 stars i would. This was the worse birthday experience at a high end restaurant & not worth the value of the $'s spent. The food quality is worth 12$ at most not 55$. The service is worth less than a 5$ tip not 20 bucks. The crab was cold with no flavors, it comes with 2 side choices: yea right..2 tsp of cole slaw & a tomato with melted cheese on it, the lobster bisque soup was so grainy, the bread was hard & very chewy. Before ordering, I told the waiter that it was my birthday & i wanted a dessert later, the waiter never mentioned a dessert after the main course. I wanted out of kitchen 305 as fast as possible & just requested a to go box for my crab to recook at home & the check. After waiting almost 12 minutes for the check to pay, he arrived. After giving the waiter my money, he returned back with the change back of 12$ & no receipt. When requested the copy of the receipt (change was incorrect) he informed us that KITCHEN 305 does not give a receipt. Its normally for the waiter! This enraged me! He then told us that he will need to take our to go box back & reached for my bags. He informed us that we are not suppose to take food when your eatting at a buffet. We took the bag back before he could take it as this was never mention prior. He brought the receipt which read was 12.66 to customer, he then toss out a 1 dollar for the difference from his own pocket. While telling the waiter our concerns & request the manager the waiter walked away as we were talking to him. The manager was called & was informed of everything. The manager only removed the waiter tip even after she was advised about the foods quality & in her defense she said that she was helping out in the kitchen. We left the waiters 1$ that was tossed to us & the missing change that was suppose to be given to us. As we left, the waiter stormed towards us with the money that was left and demanded that we take our money as it was disrespectful to leave 1.66.
When server came to our table first time, he asked what do you want for dinner. No welcome or can I get you something to drink. My daughter steak was over cooked and my "spicy " pasta dish was bland. It tasted like it came from a jar.
Do not waste yoir money.
we were 1-3min. Late due to car accident near by but we were seated as soon as we got there. The food were awesome, and we’re likely to go back for more soon. The servers were pleasant to us. I highly recommend to reserve your seat online or over the phone.
The entire night and meal was ruined by the service - server, manager and kitchen. My partner’s entree was brought out as our appetizer, everything come out at once, my entree was over cooked and dry. Hard surfaces throughout the restaurant, so very loud. Not place for conversation. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Obbligatorio prenotare .
Almeno ua volta bisogna andarci
My last visit to Kitchen 305 was over a year ago. This time I was very disappointed. The service was not good. I had to ask for a menu, then ask to place a drink order. Our table was only given one menu that we shared in a group of 4. The menu was just a copy printed on regular white paper, poor presentation. I ordered the NY Strip well done and received it medium with pink on the inside. I then waited another 20 minutes for a second steak. For the price and location you definitely expect much higher quality service. Very disappointed.
I was really excited as My bff had dined there before and recommended. We were half an hour early, but was seated immediately. We requested for a window sit, but were denied as we were only two people instead of four. Yet until we left the table remained empty...
The most disappointed part was the “star”, the lobster!!! It was a all you can eat lobster; yet the lobsters served were not fresh at all. Out of the 10 lobsters that we had, 2 were really bad( I didn’t dared to eat them, as you can see the lobster meat was already mushy). The rest were fair, only 1 was good.
The restaurant is tired and old too. Service was ok though, they kept bring up lobsters.
I don’t think that we would go back based on what we experienced tonight.
Hardly any of the food was actually good. Considering the price, it was way less quality than advertised. The fries with my wifes burger were empty crisps shells of oil. My Filet mignon was overcooked and next to no seasoning. At half the price of this steak, i have eaten better quality meats at places such as Longhorn Steakhouse. Even my toddler’s chicken tenders were dry-fryed and more breading than chicken. And to top it off, after drinking half my glass of wayer i realize there was a fruit fly among the ice. At no point did i feel this place deserved a second chance for my family to return.
It was a great match: The lobster all you can eat and Norma, our waitress. The lobster was tender and very tasty. Norma came to our table very often to ensure we had everything we needed. If you want to eat lobster in Miami-Dade, come to the Newport Resort in Sunny Isles. Kitchen 305 is the restaurant with daily culinary themes. Excellent.
it is very touristy and casual. Most of people went for the all you can eat King Crab on Friday so the restaurant is more of a seafood Golden Corral, if you are into that, you will like it. Not so much for a romantic, special occasion. This is more informal. Waiters super busy and not having enough time to clean the booths or tables properly. They take time to come to you. Our glasses for water were very dirty and we wanted to try the Miami Spice menu, which was current and advertised online, they did not have it that Friday. Very nice service, staff though, very kind. Overall not disappointing but it was just fair. if you ask me, a little overpriced for what you receive, drinks and food wise, but the taste was good, average good. I recommend this for large groups or families not for an anniversary dinner which was our case.
Went to Kitchen 305 today for the all you can eat king crab legs that they do on Fridays. Lobster bisque was AMAZING!!!!!! but the crab itself came up short the quality has gone down. I have gone before for the king crab and it has always been excellent, but today it was off. It was not the same quality I was accustomed to from kitchen 305 which is known for great quality.
Not enough staff. The bartender was the one who sat us down, took our oder, and served us. We waited for over 40 mins for appetizers alone. I most point out that this place was dead when we got there. Only three other tables were occupied. This place began to get busy after we had been there waiting to be served. The kitchen is visible from seating area and the chef apparently had his orders out of place and others that arrived after us were getting their appetizers first. They only have one chef and a helper. The chef appeared to be sweating bullets and only kept looking to our table. Same thing happened for the main course.
I felt sorry for the bartender he was running like a chicken with his head cut off. We were there almost three hours from the time we got there to the time we left. We didn't start getting our food until my wife brought it to the attention of the bartender. I have friends that swear by this place, but me personally this place was a one time experience only.
