The Signature dishes include Seared Tuna, flash seared sesame pepper encrusted yellow fin tuna served with avocado, onion and cherry tomato set in citrus soy; Japanese seared steak, thinly sliced N.Y. steak served with spring mix and Japanese yuzu sauce and Chilean Sea Bass with sweet miso. The Sushi Bar features a variety of fresh fish and an extensive selections of Specialty Rolls, among which, the "Forbidden Rice", "Lobster Hot Mama", "Black Belt" and "Hangover" are some of the must have. The Sushi is fresh as is all the seafood. The lounge offers a variety of Asian inspired Martinis, full liquor, sake & wine list. The atmosphere is elegant, soothing, and romantic, great place for couples, families & business meetings. We would love to provide you with a memorable dining experience!

One of our favorite spots. Kitaro Monster is the best roll ever

The food was amazing and the presentation was spectacular. We ordered way too much food and ended up putting the entrees right into to-go boxes. The Philadelphia roll tasted really amazing- I don't know what they did differently, but it was fantastic. Unfortunately, we did not feel the service was attentive. To be fair, it was 7pm on a Saturday.

Magic tuna was delicious. The grilled calamari is unique and a culinary delight! We also loved the tuna tartar. Overall an amazing meal.

We had 6 items off the menu. Three had the same sauce, which was not bad, but it got pretty boring and dominated the taste of the meal. We tried two white wines, both were bad.

Amazing food, it’s truly the best sushi around, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly highly recommend!

If you have not been to Kitaro this is your weekend to try as they will be celebrating their 8th anniversary. Even if you do not care for sushi, there is a "cooked food" menu.

Food was AMAZING. Service could have been better, a little slow and almost no communication.

If you are a bacon lover you need to try their MiMi's BLT.

Went on recommendation of a friend and was glad we did. Have a large variety of different types of sushi and different ways to serve them -than the usual ways. Like using rice paper instead of lots of rice. We had a grilled calamari-and it was one of the best we ever had. Can get full dinners like chicken and steak with the soup and salad, as well as appetizers and rolls. We will definitely be back.

I've been dining at Kitaro for years and have never been disappointed. The sushi is always fresh and flavorful and the seafood entrees are excellent especially the Chilean Sea Bass. The hostess, who I believe is the wife of the owner, is always pleasant and gracious. What's not to love?

Average run of the mill sushi place, nothing special.

I should start out by saying we will never dine there again. The three of us went out for dinner. Two of us eat sushi, and one doesn't. The sushi was fine, nothing incredibly special but still good. The third meal was terrible. Chicken and steak with clear soup as a starter was the order. The chicken was super dry, and the steak was just atrocious! When we mentioned it to the waitress, she said she would speak to the manager. The waitress came back and informed us we would see a 10% discount on the bill. Well, it was 10% off the meal. The bill was a bit north of $140, and stayed there. $2.50 off the bill. Laughable, really.
As for the service, the server couldn't really get a handle on things. We waited for over a half hour for the chicken and steak to come out, and it took three reminders to get water, among other issues.
Overall, I'm not sure how Kitaro stays in business. If there was any other sushi place in ten miles, I'm sure Kitaro wouldn't be able to keep the lights on.
