Our server made sure we were given our meal promptly, as we were in the area for a show at City Center. The restaurant was not crowded due to the pre-show dinner hour; the bar looked lively. The food was quite good. We will return.

What a treat! I dined here two weekends in a row and the food was consistently delicious and the service was impeccable. We had the cheese plate, corn arancini, meatballs, chicken parm, tuna on crispy toast and the sushi roll with a sparkling rose. I love the opportunity to eat this way. Everything was fresh and delectable...and satisfying. My husband, son and I finished off our meal with the incredible lava cake...two weekends in a row.

Good food in a great location on 57th. Menu is a bit off-- too much variety in offering sushi rolls with pasta and Cesar salads. It was difficult to make good app/small plate combinations.

This was my 5th time to Kingside. We usually start on the roof but I was solo and so I went to the bar for a drink and to eat before a Carnegie Hall performance. Clare was on the bar and she was terrific, we had a great conversation, she made awesome drinks and the food was excellent!

Food was fine. Service was highly uneven, very attentive at the start of the meal and then the waiter disappeared. Never was able to order a second drink before leaving for our plans. Arrived when they opened for dinner so the crowd increased during our meal but leaves me with mixed emotions about returning.

I did the reservation for my family and it was accepted by the system and the restaurant. However I got there on time just to be told the kitchen was closed and my reservation was not even showing. Very disappointing. Should review the protocols.

I was very disappointed in the entire experience. We ordered 2 glasses of Prosecco- it was flat. We had 2 sushi rolls- they were ok- but seems like they were prepared a while ago. I had a Cobb salad- much of the lettuce was brown. My dining companion had avocado toast that was not really toasted. Thought I was going out for an upscale lunch only to pay for an upscale lunch but not eat one.

My friend and I decided to have brunch at Kingside, because I had past wonderful experiences there. I don’t know what happened, but the service/kitchen had something up. The restaurant was pretty empty (which I’ve seen before and thought it was a hidden jewel), but it took forever to get my food. First they brought the wrong meal (left it with us anyway at least but it was something I couldn’t eat), my fries came, and then I was still waiting for my sandwich. I appreciated that the server offered us a round of free drinks, but it was just odd because the place was fairly quiet and empty! Usually a great place (delicious food), so I’m chalking this up as a fluke and would still come back for their delicious food.

Reasonable place with reasonable food. We've been there on Jan 1st 2019 - expected a little more for a brunch meal option - Ordered steak and eggs - Scramble eggs underseasoned, steak ordered medium but burned taste and lacking salt and pepper, the chimichurri sauce saved the steak taste (although they forgot to bring the sauce).

I was excited to go here but the food was actually bland. The bucatini and hummus both lacked salt and flavor. The rest was great, the restaurant is great and ambiance is nice. I was disappointed with the food but perhaps I should try other things on the menu,

Service was a bit slow. We were in time, but took a bit to get our table ready, but understandable given the holidays. We had a group of 7, including 4 kids, so big order, but the waiter didn’t miss anything. Only knock was that my buddy wanted cream for his coffee, that took a while to come out. Almost 10 mins. He just ended up using his daughter’s milk, just as the cream finally came out. Overall, good experience and would recommend for brunch to friends.

Kingston has a very "light" menu which is great before going to CArnegie Hall or theater. The food was sushi focused or healthy focusted with quinoa and simply cooked chicken . Price is a bit high for the food but it is a pleasant restauarnt to dine at...

Our waiter had all of his table sat at one time and they completely forgot about us. After 15 min of no return I had to go get him. Then they just tried to ply us with free dessert and they were even out of that. The space is cool, the food is just so so. Don’t waste your time.

12:30 reservation on thanksgiving. Was looking for lunch food. We got the brunch menu . Lunch started at 12:00. They wouldn’t offer anything else. So our choose we’re pretty much all breakfast food. Nothing on the menu to feed my children besides eggs and pancakes which they had for breakfast already there. Service was horrible. Waited 20 mintiea for drinks and another 15 to order. Asked for a cappuccino with cinnamon and the server gave me cinnamon sticks on the side. I didn’t think asking for cinnamon with a cappuccino was such an odd request.

Only brunch served Saturday midday. So limited options. Only about 8 tables filled yet service between courses extremely slow. Servers were perfectly pleasant but inexplicably leisurely. Food was hot, which we appreciated, but lacked body/flavor. Great look but would appreciate more ‘oomph.’
