The food was disappointing and the restaurant had absolutely no Christmas decor except for a couple of poinsettias and a Christmas tree in the hallway leading to the restaurant. Disappointed with the dining experience overall. Our waitress was good but it wasn't her fault the food didn't measure up and the holiday spirit in the restaurant was nonexistent.
My husbands New York steak was tough. While our entrees were tasty, they were lukewarm. The s'mores dessert was outstanding!
This was our first time back to the Kings Wharf in several years. We took a friend for dinner and a play. We were so disappointed. We waited for service for 45 minutes. There was confusion with staff. Our meal arrived cold. I sent my vegetable back. The quality was terrible. We won't be back.
We went to King's Wharf prior to seeing Singing in the Rain at the Marriott Theater, which is right next to this restaurant. Our meal was excellent, although I felt it was slightly over-priced for all that was included. Overall the pricing is what you would expect from a hotel restaurant.
Our only really issue was the length of wait we had between completing our meals, receiving the check and getting to pay. We actually had a to flag down another server to find ours so he could take our credit card. Overall, still an excellent option and we had a fun night.
First time at King's Wharf! We had a great experience! Food was amazing, steak cooked to perfection. My husband said
He had the best baked potato ever served at a restaurant.
Very enjoyable food, good service and appreciated the Marriott Theater subscriber discount honored. Will return again.
Thanksgiving buffet for 7: great selection of food - something for every taste and appetite, breakfast or lunch. Overflowing Champaign. Attentive, very friendly service. Took our time; was not rushed out the door.
We have had an awesome waitor, his name is Abraham. He was very helpful.in selecting food, and was very attentive to our party of 6.
We've been to this restaurant many times. This time was very disappointing. They sat us next to the kitchen entrance. There was a lot of noise and chatter coming from the kitchen. Our server never took away the plate that served the appetizer. My husband's prime rib had a sauce on it that he didn't like. On previous occasions the prime rib had no sauce. My baked potato wasn't done. All in all a very disappointing experience.
Didn't seem to have enough help. We waited a while for everything as did the other tables around us. The servers were pleasant just seemed frazzled. Probably will not return soon. To bad since the ambiance is really spectacular.
The servers seemed to be running around frantically, but there were not that many people in the restaurant. I am never a fan of a server leaving the check before you are done eating. The vegetable was very bland. The steak butter was not melted on our steak. Definitely not what I was expecting.
Our food was absolutely amazing. Steaks were above our expectations. We definately be going back
The food is creative and delicious. The waiter was excellent.
Service was great. We had the Tilapia which was amazing. Halibut was fresh fish of the day, was good, not great. Rack of Lamb outstanding. Desserts were awesome as well! (so were appetizers!)
Before booking this I read some disappointing reviews. Despite reviews we booked it and overall an above average experience. If your at this hotel it's worth giving it a try.
We had dinner after the theater, the restaurant was cold (temperature) probably due to the high ceiling. Ambiance was great, would like to see it during the day (looked like it had a good view of the golf course) we had trouble finding our way out and went around barricade back through the theater.
We were very pleased with the timely seating and table placement. The host and waitress explained the menu and the waitress was attentive. The food exceeded our expectations in portion and taste. We are looking forward to returning.
Food average. Not a big menu. The 25% off for being a subscriber for the theatre did make it at least a better deal. The French onion soup was bland and the choice of salad dressings poor. The rack of lamb was good , could have used a little more sauce and the potatoes were also bland. The cherry cobbler was very tasty. Menu just didn't offer many choices
It was our Anniversary and our waiter was great. Always joking around. Made our day very nice. Food was excellent.
My wife and I went to King's Wharf this past Saturday and it was wonderful! Every bite of food was better than the next. I got the scallops and my wife got Oscar tilapia. We haven't been in a couple of years because we have two littles and this is one of those places we'd prefer to go without them. The services was great, the food was phenomenol, even though it's big I'd say it's cozy.
