We’ve been in restaurants a long time – three generations, to be precise – and we love seafood. With seafood there’s so much to be passionate about – the freshness, the flavor, the variety, and the surprise.

To create the ultimate seafood experience, we traveled down the highways and byways. The food was very good, the halibut was outstanding and a very generous portion. I would wish for a more expanded choice of side dishes. Cole slaw or a side salad would be nice, au gratin potatoes is a favorite with fish dishes. Our waitress was very attentive but not too much so. We had a nice time for my birthday, the complimentary butter cake was yummy.

Jill has got to be the best server in the house. She was swamped when we arrived but still had time to come over and say “I’ll be with you soon!” It’s way better than wondering who your server is. She helped us choose our entrees and they came to us hot and tasty. Our friends has never been there before and said they would definitely be back.

We met friends at King's Fish House and since the weather was nice we asked for outdoor seating. We were seated on the patio outside the bar which was very nice, comfortable and relatively quiet. The bartender, Steven, was very attentive and friendly. He took the time to make recommendations and to explain various dishes. Three of us had the Miso Chilean Sea Bass and it was exceptional. We will definitely go back!

Disappointing! Food was average at best. Fried shrimp was over cooked and calamari was like chewing rubber. Had to ask server for a straw 3 times. Asked for more bread twice with no response. Then when I asked again was told it is made to order and was in the oven.

I’ve been frequenting this location and the one in Calabasas, CA for a long time. Today’s business lunch was great. Greeting, Food, service top notch. And even with a good number of years since this location opened, it’s spotless.

Casual evening out for dinner on a Friday night! The food was excellent and the service was even more outstanding. We ordered the roasted herb chicken and a burger. The chicken was moist and with a very nice au jus and the burger, well, King's has one of the best burgers in town, period. Our waitress was fantastic and the manager, Sandra I believe, was too. Our food took a long time to come out this evening, but we did not complain and chalked it up to being a Friday night. Both our waitress and Sandra came by to apologize and Sandra took off one of our meals due to the long wait. I love it when I can go to a restaurant and they notice and correct their own deficiencies versus me having to voice a complaint, and then to rectify the situation is just outstanding customer service. Kudos and a recommend!

Tonight was my wife's birthday and we celebrated it here with the MIL. Great dinner! i had the Trout Almondine with sauteed spinach and Brussel sprouts. The girls shared a meal ... Halibut with flash fried cauliflower. All was cooked to perfection. We sat outside and was attended to by Tyler...this kid was outstanding as a bartender and as our server. He was polite, attentive, charming and funny. We actually called over the manager to our table to tell her how much of an asset to the restaurant Tyler was. I give it 5 stars for atmosphere, good food, great drinks and 5 more stars for Tyler. I will be sitting in his bar area next time, I suggest you do the same.

We had a party of 3. We sat outside on the patio where our is all shaded & has misters going. Our waiter Colin was amazing. He described various dishes & was so attentive & good. He was polite, conscientious, and good. We had salad, grilled sea bass, shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes & grilled asparagus. Everything was delicious.

If you're looking for a quiet, unassuming seafood restaurant in Tempe, then make a reservation at King's Fish House. Our server, Jill, was great. The food (grilled wild Chilean sea bass for me & grilled shrimp & scallops for my wife) was delicious. We were there at 5:15p on a Saturday night and it was pretty quiet.

This was my first visit to King's Fish House and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and service. Our group of 20 had a private section and we had two servers. The servers were excellent and very accommodating with late arriving guests due to traffic to the restaurant after our round of golf. Food quality was excellent with a variety of seafood options and preparations. The prices were affordable and much better than the Italian restaurant that we went to the previous day.

We celebrated my birthday with a perfect meal at King's Fish House. We usually dine at King's in Laguna Hills, California. We both irdered halibut. I ordered the Macadamia nut crusted halibut with orange, ginger glaze that was cooked to perfection. My friend also ordered halibut but the grilled. His also was perfectly grilled, not overcooked. We both ordered the bake potato that is always a winner. Our server was very attentive but never overly so. The only negative is the noise level in both locations. It's more pleasant eating outside, but it was too hot in Phoenix.

Our waitress was wonderful (we have hasher before) petite younger girl with dark hair. The Chef from Corp was in the kitchen and he came out, talked to me about what I wanted, then came out after it was served to see if it was what I wanted. He was GREAT! Taught me a few things about fish.

Lunch date with the ladies. Server was attentive but not overly attentive. The miso sea bass was Ah-Ma-Zing!!! Definitely recommend. Will surely be back.

This was our first time eating here and we were impressed! The food and service were incredible! Our server was very helpful and his suggestions did not disappoint. We met a friend we had not seen in a while for dinner and were easily able to converse. I also liked that there was plenty of parking.

We’ve been here twice. Skeptical after the first visit, however we thought we’d give it another chance. Service is fine. Not great, but average. The food, iffy. Both visits we had oysters and both times we had at least one very fishy one out of a half dozen. We aren’t looking for Ocean 44 grade, however fishy is not good. Same kind of oyster too. Had King Crab, and might as well had snow crab at the casino. Again, not looking for five star but Red Lobster would have worked. Way overpriced given quality. Wanted to love this place as we frequent restaurants in this area often and wanted seafood option.

Very good dinner at King's! Wild salmon, Chilean seabass, and grilled swordfish were all perfectly cooked. Veggies and grain sides complemented each very well. Fresh oysters to start were exquisite. No kidding! Nice casual evening and great value!

The service was great. We eat at Kings Fish House 6 or 7 times a year. If there is anything wrong with the food they are unbelievably responsive to correcting the situation. However my fish was not cooked properly and my wife’s Salmon was not tasty. The waitress brought her some sauce but she left if half uneaten. We really love the restaurant but we have had a few too many issues to wholeheartedly recommend it. The best Sourdough bread on earth.
