King's Fish House - Long Beach
To create the ultimate seafood experience, we traveled down the highways and byways. We pulled up a seat, put on bibs, and soaked up the seafood experience: The no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards, and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.
The pleasure of preparing and sharing seafood was simple and genuine, and it brought out the best in everyone. Often, we felt as if we’d been welcomed into somebody’s home.
That’s what King’s Fish House is all about — and we’ve tried to bring all of these ideas together into one single, spectacular place, filled with camaraderie and celebration, and the things we love best. Welcome to the House that Seafood Built!

Excellent food. Excellent wine selection. Excellent service.
Kings fish house has been an established as somewhere you can always get a great fish lunch or dinner. The problem is that you have to be willing to spend 50+ to get it if you want to start with a salad and not even drink.. The outside eating area is exposed to the street traffic and people walking right by your table and thus your food. If none of that is an issue for I have never had a bad meal there.
Never disappointed at Kings, Best seafood around.
Excellent service and food. Recommend this location the service is top notch and the food was very tasty.
Service was great and the food was amazing as always. Been a customer of King’s for over 20 years and it’s still my favorite seafood restaurant.
Our server was immaculate!
Oysters and bread. My favorite meal. The selection always great and fresh.
This is my 2nd time there. It’s nice. The food was good!!
Both my wife and I enjoyed our fish, but for both of us the sides were under cooked and under seasoned. Not bad, but for the price we expected better.
King's Fish House moved to a new location on Broadway. The decor there is more rustic and there are 4 television screens in the bar/dining area and loud rock music throughout the restaurant. The fish is still excellent!
We where celebrating my girlfriends birthday the waitress took it on herself to bring out a dessert with a candle it was very nice nice
It's been at least 3 years since I last ate at King's Fish House in Long Beach. Recently. we've been going more local to King's in Anaheim. Long Beach seems to have remodeled. Very upscale. The food was delicious, Halibut was very fresh and flaky. Great service. I will make this one of my favorite destinations.
Service is good, food is good
Typically everything is great at Kings, however this time drinks took longer than usual. We were done with the appetizers and the drink arrived few minutes later...not great. Otherwise everything else was ok.
If you love sea food, this is the perfect place!
Seafood is fresh and very delicious.
Excellent as always. Had roasted oysters, shared an entree, consumed two orders of the classic tuna on crispy rice and also ordered the Spanish style octopus. Corkage is free.
Everything was great!!! :-) the food, the service and prices we're all beyond expected. My family had a great time!
all the staff were amazing!! i can’t remember my waiters name but she was great.
Really nice place location has good parking everywhere , love the calamari
Reservations was for 8:30 and my party was seated immediately. Love the open table option.
Amazing food and service! Will definitely go back.
Great food, great service, first weekend reopening after pandemic.
The food was very good. I do feel the fish could have used some seasonings but it did taste very fresh. I've been here a few times and the food as always been great so no complaints. I don't think cocktails are their specialty though. Can never seem to get a good drink from their menu.
Gracias muchas gracias
This is one of our favorite seafood restaurant! Our first dine in since restrictions have lifted last week. Tables were distanced, servers wore masks, face shields, and gloves.
They did all they could to make us comfortable.
This is our 2nd visit here in 3 weeks. Food is great as usual
Great food, great service. Will be coming back
All around it was a great experience. Good food and good drinks.
The oysters were incredible. The lobster tales were delicious. Can’t wait to go back
Excellent dining experience with professional and caring service from Kadie.
Menu selection was varied and enticing.
We selected raw oysters to start with four accompaniments.
Artichokes were perfect.
Entrees included Salmon, Cat fish and Halibut with sides of Brussels sprouts (among the best I have ever tasted), Spinach, and zucchini, asparagus and French fries.
Plates were attractive and well presented.
Server was excellent!
Fish is consistently great and the staff phenomenal!
Great as usual
The only bad part was all the homeless pp on streets next to pation
I had been wanting blackened salmon, garlic mashed potatoes and roasted Brussel sprouts for some time. We tried the Corona location on Friday but there was a long wait. Since my friends live in Gardena and we live in Corona, we decided to meet at the Long Beach location for my friend's birthday. No one was disappointed.
We enjoyed dining outside it was on Pine Street so there was a lot of activity going around us but nothing to complain it actually added to the dining experience. The only thing we would critique is the wait area for the tables it’s right in front of the entrance and there’s tables in every direction and the waiters also have to go through the crowd of people waiting as well.
It was a great experience Even with outside dining
It was wonderful , the waitress knew everything so well !
If you love flavoring on your food, this is not the spot for you. Brussels sprouts and steak were burnt. Shrimp pasta was super bland. Only thing I truly enjoyed was the clam chowder!
