Established in 2004, King’s Fish House is Henderson’s choice for seafood. Located at The District at Green Valley Ranch, King’s Fish House features a large selection of fresh oysters, seasonal catches, sushi and live shellfish, including lobster and crab, on a menu that changes daily.

We’ve been in restaurants a little while – three generations, to be precise. A long time ago, we embarked on a road trip in search of the ultimate seafood experience. We traveled down highways and byways, pulled up a seat, put on bibs and soaked up the seafood experience: the no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.

They were very busy but you would never know it from the servers. They were friendly and never seemed rushed or out of sorts. In other words, they were professional. The service was outstanding, as was the food. We had crab cakes to share as an appetizer. Delicious, fresh and crispy on the outside. My husband had halibut with a baked potato and spinach, all were delicious. Big potato. I had sand dabs with mac and cheese and brussels sprouts. Really, good. The sand dabs were perfectly cooked, the mac and cheese creamy and flavorful and the brussels sprouts were crispy yet tender. A really good meal. We will go back.

Had a craving for Halibut so we headed over to King's for their feature Halibut menu. I had the Pan Seared and my husband had the Macadamia Nut Crusted version. Both were quite good! We also split a wedge salad which was very good, and the Key Lime Pie which was also very good. Service was attentive, friendly and gracious. The restaurant has a lot of hard surfaces so gets very loud... open table needs a new descriptor for this condition as "energetic" doesn't cut it. Also, the front room was a good 10 degrees warmer than the bar room area. It wasn't unbearable, but it was a little warm.

Always a great place to go. Team is super friendly and welcoming. Food is fresh and great and handcrafted cocktails are wonderful.
