Great as usual. The Oysters Rockefeller are the best anywhere! The lobster roll is the best anywhere but Maine.
one of the best meals of the trip. we were very happy with teh entire experience.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommend!
All of the food was awesome, from fresh oysters to dinner to dessert. Wine was great. Martinis were watered down, bummer. Overall service was great, but a strange long gap from the end of dinner to dessert.. oh well, the dessert was worth the wait.
Have been dining at Kingfisher for many years on special occasions (birthdays and anniversaries. Excellent seafood and service. Just reopened on 2/23/21.
Love this restaurant, and staff! Never disappoints!
Don’t be fooled by the facade. The food and service were excellent! We were a little curious how the quality of seafood in Tucson would be but we needn’t have worried. Everything was outstanding.
So glad to have Kingfisher open for indoor dining. Great food and great service.
We can always count on Kingfisher for great seafood. Had the Macadamia Crusted r
Red Snapper. Very tender. The vegetables were grilled and everything tasted good. The server was knowledgeable and could describe how dishes were prepared. Great experience!
It is a great place!
I love the service, they have the best martinis in town .
Melt in your mouth goodness! Gulf Coast oysters delicious. We had Hawaiian Fish and FlounderSpecial. Warm Cabbage Salad. Everything perfect.
Anniversary
Kingfisher remains the go-to restaurant in Tucson for fresh seafood and inventive specials. Service is always great with great wine list and cocktails.
The bouillabaisse was fantastic and seabass cooked to perfection.
I love the lobster rolls with chunks of lobster and great skinny fries. Drove 45 minutes to have the pleasure of this fine restaurant.
Excellent food and even more excellent service. The best that I have experienced.
Birthday differ with friends on a weeknight (during Covid.) Kingfisher did a great job with the safety protocols. All four of the meals were very good. We have never been disappointed with our food or service when we have dined here.
Just ok. Not special. Not Open Table quality.
Amazing food and amazing service, the drinks were perfectly crafted with the right mix strength and flavor and the desserts were the perfect ending. This is one of Tucson’s best kept secrets and I took the time to be so detailed because the secret needs to get out. I wish I could bring this experience to Phoenix!
Great food and service. As expected, the menu is mostly seafood.
Always a wonderful treat, juleps and oysters for days
The only was it was too quiet due to virus protocols. I miss the feeling of enrgy that usually permiates a really good restaurant. NOT Kingfishers fault.
Pre Thanksgiving together with my husband. First time we did that. Kingfisher is one of our favorite restaurants. So we chose it from corner pleasant times there.
Everything we had was delicious!! Service was great!
Always delicious seafood. Friendly professional service. Old tucson atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Love everything about Kingfisher. The food & service is amazing.
First time back to Kingfisher's in over a year. Overall disappointed. Very loud noises come from front area. Food fair. Prices high. Wine way, way overpriced. $45 for a bottle I can get retail for $12.
My wife and I have been here many times in the past 7 years. This was the most enjoyable experience we have had pretty much any restaurant. The food was great, the service was outstanding and we drove home very happy that we went out that night. Looking forward to returning.
It kinda reminds me of a place that people would come back to again and again. This was our first time there, we were visiting from Phoenix. I would go back again if in the area.
Unfortunately with the COVID-19 rules the atmosphere is probably less interesting than normal.
I recently had the opportunity to visit Kingfisher while in Tucson visiting family. For years I’d heard nothing but great things about “The Fish” and I’m so glad I finally got a chance to come in for lunch. It definitely did not disappoint! Annie was our server and she was both friendly and extremely knowledgeable, providing some excellent recommendations. We started with the shrimp cakes as an appetizer which paired beautifully with the Adelsheim Chardonnay. My sister and I both had the grilled sea bass tostada which was phenomenal—both delicious and creative. I will definitely come back to Kingfisher the next time I’m in Tucson. It truly is a special place!
Excellent experience. Kudos to Chef Murph & Team.
Thank you
The best in Tucson.
So happy that one of my favorite restaurants is open. Always great food, service and ambiance
First time visiting and we'll be back. Good food and fair prices. Service was great. Seafood fettuccine and the Grilled Sea Bass we're good choices and filling.
One word "Amazing"....Trout, Oysters Rockefeller and Seabass was great. I'll definitely be back!!
There must be a reason why I come back here besides great fresh oysters or the generous portion of mussels or was it the great fish & chips. I could go on but suffice to say if you're looking for fresh fish this place is always near the top of my jaded list of places to dine.
One of the best meals I have had in a long time at a restaurant in Tucson
As always both food and service were excellent. Had my usual trout. My companion had the sea bass. Mussels and oysters rounded out a great meal.
One of the best restaurant for fish at lunch or dinner in all of Tucson. It has been a neighborhood gem for quite some time with the ownership and staff having been there for a long time. The consistency of the food and service is what sets Kingfisher apart from many of the other eating establishments in the Tucson.
It is easy to find and I would suggest reservations.
Excellent food and service. Fresh WA. State oysters , striped bass and red snapper were all exceptional.
Service is always exceptional.
