Always a great choice-excellent seafood dishes and appetizers. Service is always excellent. Highly recommended.
Very good as always!
An outstanding restaurant. It's one of our favorites in Tucson. An excellent variety of entree choices and wine list. Just YUMMY!
Always reliable! Without doubt, best seafood in Tucson !
Great by-the glass wine selection.
Truly a Tucson original!
Ruby Trout order was so small, my wife was finished after a few bites. Not a decent lunch for her. Fish and chips I ordered were just OK. Clam Chowder was excellent, service was good. Desert was very good. Overall, a lunch for two that was $105. with tip was a poor value.
Half dozen oysters, small but delicious, served with four "toppings". Oysters Rockefeller, most excellent. Fried calamari, served on top of a bit of chopped salad, also delicious. Bouillabaisse, quite good. Special of the day, Dover sole, stuffed with crab. Really, really good. Flourless chocolate cake, great. A bit pricey but worth it. Service excellent.
Food selections were good, especially the seafood choices. Oysters Rockefeller were excellent but pricey for only 5. Why such an odd number, why not 6? Service was very good.
We started with martinis which were perfectly prepared. Th Oysters Rockefeller were the perfect appetizer. The bouillabaisse was absolutely delicious. The Arctic Char special was also fabulous. We were too full to eat the carrot cake desert so opted to take them home for later. As usual our dinner was great.
One tiny fly stopped from a complete 5. This is my favorite restaurant the food is amazing although the French fries could use an upgrade. I had the ruby trout to start it was smoked to perfection. Amazing lunch.
Excellent food and service. The Ahi Tower was superb.
Great food snd service!
Best seafood restaurant in Tucson. Prices are reasonable and the seafood is excellent. I have to admit the supporting dishes, potatoes, chips, sprouts etc ae good but not the best I have had. The monkfish more than made up for it though
Great place for both delicious food and comfortable atmosphere!
Over cooked and under seasoned. Just mediocre all around
My husband and I had such a wonderful meal at Kingfisher. The service and food were both excellent. We will be returning very soon.
We were happy to find a great place for fish in Tucson! The food is outstanding, service is excellent, and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. Looking forward to bringing out of town visitors here.
Wonderful meal of golden snapper. The dessert was a flour less chocolate torte and was a great way to finish the meal.
If you like fish, this is the place for you. Delicious, full plates. Wonderful service; typically the wait staff are "approachable' and helpful. Classy ambience.
Civilization ... in the form of good food, good service, great martinis, and excellent staff .... still lives!!!
We enjoyed several of the offerings from the oyster bar including the Ruby Trout. Absolutely delicious and the service outstanding. Kingfisher never disappoints.
Service was exceptional with excellent social distancing and masks by staff. Wonderful seafood menu with superb execution by the chef.
Had not been in many years, Happy to get the same great service and lunch. The grilled Salmon Sandwich was amazing. Told all my friends about it.
We love the menu and like that there are specials that are aways interesting!
A perfect evening from beginning to end! We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation and was seated immediately. Samson took our cocktail and appetizer orders. These arrived very quickly. Both the Kingfisher Manhattan and the Rat Pack Manhattan were outstanding. The Oyster Rockefeller’s were small, but tasty. We each ordered a special of the evening. The steelhead with roasted artichoke topping and the Arctic Char were delicious. Both fish steaks were perfectly cooked. The pear tart was a lovely finish. Service from Samson was spot on! What a delightful night out. We look forward to returning. They did a very nice refresh to the restaurant during the months they were closed. The place looks great.
Shrimp cakes the BEST AS ALWAYS...and the people we were with had their usual, oysters and Caesar salad.
We love Kingfisher.....always have (since 1972). Laura Brown
It was just two of us this night so we ended up ordering two appitizers and sharing one main dinner dish. It all was everything we thought it should be and more.....the two appitizers were served right after our dinner drinks and was exactly what we were hoping for..then without missing a beat here came out dinner they actual split our dinner dish onto two plates which was perfect . All in all our experience was great.....service was eceptional...food quality was above approval and more than worth the money.....location and the actual structure was okay.....could use a upgrade or a little more pazazz
Haven't been here in a while...almost forgot how great Kingfisher is! Can't wait to go back!
I love this place! It’s a new favorite. Fantastic service, good food and the ambiance is great/old school. Definite thumbs up!
My seabass was very mushy inside-
would not recommend.
Always excellent! The food is consistently superior with the best fresh fish in town. Beverages are creative and satisfying, and the wait staff is the top of the line. Chef Murph knows how to prepare right sized portions - not too much, not too little, all with perfect flavor. My go to restaurant in Tucson. Especially when I'm craving oysters!
Superb cuisine. The fresh Alaska halibut was perfect. I look forward to dining at Kingfisher again soon.
Great food! Good service.
Really good food; the daily specials are noteworthy. Service is terrific but not overbearing. One of our favorite Tucson restaurants.
The food has gone down here unfortunately . The fish and chips are better at Culver's. My wife's dinner of fish, rice, and vegetables were very much on the small size. The food was bland especially the cole slaw which had no taste at all.
Loved this place and the service was outstanding! Thank you! I’ll be back.
The food was delicious but the service was terrible. We felt rushed and he came by to check on us once.
The food taste and quality never disappoints but to my surprise, bread is no longer served with meals unless you order it, and our birthday celebration did not come with a complimentary dessert as in the past. I guess times are hard but I left rather hungry after my entree-only meal and had counted on the dessert for my boyfriend’s BD sweets
Consistently the best seafood in town. Service is also consistently good.
I was very impressed with the restaurant's attention to safety. Diners spaced and masks mandatory for all guests. Server was knowledgeable, personable and attentive. Nice variety in the menu and food is good.
