We are offering breakfast weekdays from 7am-10:30am and lunch from 11:30am-2pm. Our Kingbird Bar hour from 2pm-9pm Tuesday through Fridays. Weekends, we are offering Brunch on Sundays from 11am to 2pm.

Join us for High Tea on Saturday & Sunday 1pm-2:30pm. We require all High Tea reservations to be pre-paid, to make a reservation for High Tea please select the Spill the Tea Experience. For children under 12 please email dining@thewatergatehotel.com.

We are located within The Watergate Hotel, our elegant yet contemporary restaurant features fine dining with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

He definitely goes above your standard expectations. Very friendly and professional. Highly recommend special occasions or business gatherings.                                                                                   Beautiful decor and view of Potomac. Cocktails were excellent. Food was good not great. Oysters were "East Coast." They were really good! But when we asked where from exactly, the answer was just, "East Coast." Would have liked some more info than what was on the menu - that was why we asked. Main courses (mostly steaks, one chicken) were not hot at all, nearly cold even, when they arrived to table. Two medium fillets were cooked at clearly different temps. They forgot one of our sides, had to remind them. At the end, after a long wait, had to flag down the otherwise very kind and attentive waiter for our check. They generously comped our desserts (not exactly sure why but thanks!). In the end, the insane prices here do not match either the food or service.

                                                                                  If you are going to the Kennedy Center, then I highly recommend the Kingbird. The food is fresh and delicious, the cocktails are unique, the service is outstanding, and they do an excellent job to ensure you get out in time to make your performance start time. They even have a back door (short cut) to help get to the Kennedy Center quicker. We eat here just about every time we attend a Kennedy Center performance and even come back for some special occasions -- the staff always takes very good care of us.
