   I've always loved visiting the Watergate Hotel for its fantastic spa and restaurant! Yesterday, I had the pleasure of celebrating my friend's birthday there. We treated ourselves to afternoon tea, and our server Brian was just the friendliest! The service was top-notch—so warm and attentive, which truly made our celebration even more special. The entire staff was wonderful, and we had an amazing experience, just as we always do. Can't wait to go back!

   I have eaten there twice and both times the service was slow.

   We chose this restaurant as an option to the Kennedy Centrr hoarders before a recent show. It was a smart move. There were five of and we chose the $75 prize fixe which was a great idea, we all hade the cioppino which , although different than the SanFrancisco soupier version, was a very generous amount of very fresh seafood of ample variety. The desserts were beautiful and elegant and not too sweet, the Blueberry cheesecake was a standout. We had a great bottle of wine from Mura Mura a fabulous boutique producer from Piemonte. It was a wonderful night even before we got to the concert. Service was efficient and friendly.

   Parking is absurd. Sign pointed to public parking next to the hotel - only to end up in a dead end. Drove to the hotel front for Valet and waited 15 min. Met our party 15 min late and frustrated. But the food was good, service was a bit slow - but friendly. Not sure i would deal with the hassle again.

   The food was underwhelming and expensive. There was no service to speak of. Took forever. Will not go back.

   The Kingbird was amazing! Our waiter Henry was absolutely wonderful and helped us to make the best choices when it came to cocktails and the food. Definitely recommend.

   Everything was EXCEPTIONAL! We had the brunch- the pastry chef is skilled- pastries were world class. The entire meal world class and delicious! Everyone also so nice and accommodating!

    We felt that the food quality was good, and staff provided helpful recommendations. The restaurant serves a nice selection of in-house made pasta. However, mixed drinks are extremely pricey and are very unremarkable. My husband had a margarita that had proven to be exactly that -- very average -- with a price tag of 35USD - more that we paid for his margarita in a fancy rooftop bar at Ritz Carlton Nomad in Mantattan (the quality of the margaritas we were served there was incomparably better). Just that and a very modest portion of kombucha tea added 50USD to our bill. One has to pay separately for an assortment of breads and the side dishes adding it up even further to a pricier outcome.
