King Street Trio Ratings and Reviews
From the moment we entered we were warmly welcomed by the restaurant owner himself, a touch I felt was quite nice and made our business feel appreciated. It was the first Valentine's Day for myself and my girlfriend and the ambiance they had created was great.
The food was spectacular and well presented with good portion sizes. The cocktail and wine list offered plenty of choice and the key lime pie was to die for.
Definitely worth paying a visit!
What an absolutely spectacular dinner we enjoyed last Tuesday. It wasn't just the exquisite food prepared specifically to our liking. We were greeted and treated as the most important guests that the Trio has ever had. It so makes us want to come back. And we will.
Heard about King Street trip through Open Table recommendations. Took the chance and drove to Waterloo and we were not disappointed. My husband enjoyed the Raspberry point oysters and I liked the calamari. Main course choices of steak and rainbow trout were also excellent. We enjoyed talking to our waiter and the owner. They are very committed to doing their best.
Fun filled night. We were the largest party which also means we were the loudest. The owner came out to help at the table, especially with the wines. Very attentive staff and our group had a great time. Will definitely come back again. My vote is the pork loin
This was our first visit to King Street Trio. The evening was perfect, from the entrance to exit!
Alex was our server and was friendly, professional and gave us good suggestions off of the menu.
We were seated across from the chef which was very cozy and we enjoyed watching the Chef plate the food! We started with Suppli Di Riso (Crisp risotto balls filled with Mozzarella, set in Romesco sauce, and finished with Asiago cheese). My husband and I both ordered the steak which was cooked perfectly!! Our friends enjoyed the Stuffed Chicken Supreme and the Seafood Cioppino. We were too full for dessert but our friends enjoyed Filo Wrapped Vanilla Cheesecake and Coffee Panna Cotta.
We can't say enough - everything was perfect! We will DEFINITELY be back!
Our waiter could not have been more attentive! We never felt rushed or neglected. I was with an elderly relative with hearing problems and he took the time lean in closer so she could hear him. Our meals were absolutely delicious and arrived hot and well presented. We both ate every bite. We were there on a busy Saturday night so the noise level made it difficult to carry on a conversation. As some of the patrons cleared out, this improved. A wonderful dining experience!!
We have been to KInig St. Trio for many dinners over the years ant their various locations, but the current location in Uptwon Waterloo is the best. We have recently been enjoying the chef's demonstration dinners with wine pairings. The evenings are very interesting, the food is always unique and delicious, and Brian and the team have a very personal approach in service and we always feel very well looked after.
Best Oysters in town, Best Caesar Salad in town, best Filet Mignon in town and best Lamb Rack in town. I've never felt the need to order anything else because those items are always amazing. Ingredients are always top notch; you can taste the quality. If you're a tequila fan, don't forget to ask for a shot of the chilled Dobel. Always a great experience. Keep up the good work Brian!
It was amazing being there for the first time me and my girlfriend had a blast and the food was amazing and the service was impeccable, but it was very noises when we were there so sometimes we couldn't hear each other. Being there though was a great experience of its own.
Six girlfriends started our day with a matinee at the theatre. Following the theatre we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at King Street Trio. The food was awesome and the service was amazing! As a group we dine out frequently and we now have King Street Trio at the top of our fine dining list. We will definitely return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My wife and I enjoyed a very nice dinner at the King Street Trio restaurant. Service was excellent, food was great (expensive but not over-priced). Nice table for two away from the main crowd. Located in Uptown Waterloo, there's lots of parking just around the corner. Restaurant was busy on Saturday night with several large groups but noise level was fine.
We had a wonderful meal and delicious wine (my 8 oz. filet mignon was cooked a perfect medium rare). We were greeted very graciously and our table service was immediate. Our server was friendly and respectful, and made great recommendations when asked. I had the best crème brulee ever for dessert and my wife had the key lime pie, which was exactly as our server described: "to die for". Even the coffee was excellent. Would not hesitate to eat there again.
