King Street Trio Ratings and Reviews
We have been to KInig St. Trio for many dinners over the years ant their various locations, but the current location in Uptwon Waterloo is the best. We have recently been enjoying the chef's demonstration dinners with wine pairings. The evenings are very interesting, the food is always unique and delicious, and Brian and the team have a very personal approach in service and we always feel very well looked after.
Best Oysters in town, Best Caesar Salad in town, best Filet Mignon in town and best Lamb Rack in town. I've never felt the need to order anything else because those items are always amazing. Ingredients are always top notch; you can taste the quality. If you're a tequila fan, don't forget to ask for a shot of the chilled Dobel. Always a great experience. Keep up the good work Brian!
Six girlfriends started our day with a matinee at the theatre. Following the theatre we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at King Street Trio. The food was awesome and the service was amazing! As a group we dine out frequently and we now have King Street Trio at the top of our fine dining list. We will definitely return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It was amazing being there for the first time me and my girlfriend had a blast and the food was amazing and the service was impeccable, but it was very noises when we were there so sometimes we couldn't hear each other. Being there though was a great experience of its own.
My wife and I enjoyed a very nice dinner at the King Street Trio restaurant. Service was excellent, food was great (expensive but not over-priced). Nice table for two away from the main crowd. Located in Uptown Waterloo, there's lots of parking just around the corner. Restaurant was busy on Saturday night with several large groups but noise level was fine.
We had a wonderful meal and delicious wine (my 8 oz. filet mignon was cooked a perfect medium rare). We were greeted very graciously and our table service was immediate. Our server was friendly and respectful, and made great recommendations when asked. I had the best crème brulee ever for dessert and my wife had the key lime pie, which was exactly as our server described: "to die for". Even the coffee was excellent. Would not hesitate to eat there again.
My wife and I enjoyed our meal very much . We had never been and were pleasantly surprised at the high level of hospitality. The only downside was that in my reservation I mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary and at no point was this addressed by the staff. As a restaurant manager myself I was disappointed with this oversight.
We were warmly greeted at the door and received prompt and friendly service. Our server exhibited a good understanding of the menu items. I ordered trout for myself and my spouse and filet mignon for our 12 year old who is a very picky eater. He had never eaten off the kids menu before so I had my doubts. His meal was devoured with great pleasure (as were ours). Desserts were as delicious as the entrees. I highly recommend this restaurant.
First time here and we will definitely return. Their appetizers were too good to resist so we just had a bunch of them. All were delicious. The service was also exceptional. Always attentive and very knowledgable with the menu. We even had the manager filling our water for us. Everyone chippped in to make it a great night. And to top it off they brought us a free dessert for our anniversary.
We were graciously welcomed and seated . Our server arrived quickly and guided us through the menu - we enjoyed our meals from appetizers to desserts - our server was friendly , knowledgeable and attentive .
We are long time fans of King Street Trio and will certainly return .
The food was very good although not particularly creative. The service was very fast, and the server was very attentive - perhaps too attentive, given we were hoping for a relaxed meal "event". Noise level surprisingly high for the less than 50% tables occupied (on a Monday evening), which may not bother the younger crowd at all.
My s/o and I were celebrating our anniversary and birthday that night and we were pleasantly surprised with how amazing everything was.
The service was the best we've ever had from a restaurant. Alex (our waiter) was super friendly, helpful, observant and available.
The food was flawless from the appetizers to the desserts. We both highly recommend having the duck or special featuring it. Best dish I've had the pleasure of tasting.
Food was fine. Nothing spectacular. We expecting better because of the reviews. Nothing wrong with the food, delicious, but nothing to make me want to come back. Especially since we came from out of town. It took almost an hour to get our 2 meals, which seemed excessive since there was only 10 tables total while we were there. We were actually surprised it wasn't busier for a Friday dinner time.
