King Estate Restaurant
Outside seating is on a first-come-first-served basis and all reservations are for inside tables.
The scallops and salmon was cooked to perfection!
Always a nice place for a special occasion with the family!
Overall, it's always a great experience to drive out to King Estate. We like to take family, friends and in this case just the two of us to enjoy the atmosphere, view, food and wine.
A good evening, some wonderful wine and good food. While my venison was a little underdone, the flavor was wonderful and they were accommodating to add a touch more cooking to fit my taste. The lighting is cozy and inviting, the fire is pleasant in winter and the hospitality is warm.
The desserts did not impress this time, but it won't deter us from heading out again to enjoy another evening there in the near future.
Always a treat! The entire staff is very accommodating!
gorgeous view amazing food and wonderful service, beautiful experience, only negative is no lift service!
I went on 2/17/19 around 10:15am. The place was fairly busy by 10:30am. Carpooling would be a good idea and the lot (despite being of good size) might fill quickly. This is truly fine dining! the menu is limited, only 1 page with about 20 items on it. All mouth watering. There is also a wine menu where you can select a bottle from their cellar. Prices range from $30 - $1,000. But the brunch is not quite that expensive. Mine was $28. But I paid an additional $20 for 2 mimosas. Everything was top shelf. The place is wheelchair accessible. Vegans ought to look over the menu before going to this place.
My lovely date and I sat by a warm fire. Snow fell outside. We started with a truly delicious salad, and, yes, I know. It was a salad... but it really was delicious. Entrees (venison and coquilles St. Jacques) and dessert were similarly excellent. It's the attentive but discreet service and warm ambiance, though, that made our evening especially memorable. Thank you!
The food and ambience were excellent overall. The crab cakes we’re especially delicious (but small). The only real disappointment was that our salmon was over cooked
We enjoyed a fantastic Valentine's Day lunch, knowing it would be our large meal for the day. Absolutely delicious, creatively presented with every flavor enhancing that next to it on the plate. The wait staff were fully professional in their methods, friendly, efficient. Custom creations with every bite. Can't wait for spring landscaping to come into full bloom!
Another excellent dining experience. Riley our server was amazing. Best restaurant in Eugene..and winery!!
Our favorite winery in the Willamette Valley. Delicious wine and food. Beautiful views, ample parking.
I have been going to King Estates for years. I like bringing out of town guests there because it is a beautiful special place. The service is always excellent, the food is excellent.
bit of a drive to get to location, so I would recommend arriving for wine tasting and then staying on to enjoy the amazing food. A lot of the menu is locally and responsibly resourced. Food options were diverse and all were prepared exceptionally well. My husband and I enjoyed local charcuterie board, fresh pasta as well as cod and venison that were sublime. Would love to dine here again, recommend highly.
Excellent food and service!
The food was amazing, unique entrees paired perfectly with the wine. It is a great ambiance but we were having date night and got put in a room filled with families with young children so that kind of took away from it.
The food was beyond wonderful. Would come back if there were more vegetarian options.
This is an expensive restaurant, but worth it for something special. It is a gorgeous place and I am sure is lovely in the summer as the view is amazing. The inside atmosphere is very nice and elegant, yet cozy too.
The service was perfect and the food was outstanding. It was for my husband's 80th birthday and they let him choose any desert on the house. We are anxious to go back for lunch so we can enjoy the view.
Great way to stay out of town for a fancy meal. It is a must see.
This was a perfect setting for great food, conversation, and wine tasting. Our server was outstanding and all of the staff made us feel pampered. Everyone took such good care of our group and made it a truly special experience. We are planning on making it an annual holiday gathering. Thank you!!!
Good food and service, nice setting. Way, way too expensive for the quality.
Great food, great service & beautiful location!
My husband and I have a ‘family tradition’ of dinner at King Estate on Christmas Eve. This is our third year and as always the staff is friendly and attentive, the food excellent and the atmosphere welcoming and festive. We will definitely keep this tradition up next year!
Wonderful from beginning to end! Great food, great wine, knowledgeable staff and excellent service.
A great upscale dinner. Incredible wines paired with an expertly prepared menu of local, seasonal food. Apps to desserts were all phenomenal; a very formal room with refreshingly unstuffy/down to earth staff. Beautiful views and stunning scenery. Overall a meal and experience you won't be able to forget.
We have dinner at King Estate on special occasions, and are always very happy with the food, service, ambiance and the view. This place gives the area class.
This was a return visit. Food was not what it has been. Food was good, but decidedly overpriced. It is also quite strange that King Estate sells their own wine on the premises for more than what it can be purchased elsewhere. Not only is their per glass charge extremely high, but their bottle sales are 40% - 50% above what the same exact variety/label and vintage can be purchased elsewhere. I will likely return, as it is a nice place to take that special someone, but I would go more frequently if the prices were reasonable.
Exceptional quality dining in a lovely venue. I have always a fan of the ambiance at King Estates. The menu is lovely and staff is the best!
Came here for lunch with a client, and everything was flawless. None of the three of us had been here previously, and were just so impressed with everything. Andi, our waitress, was just as flawless and perfect as the rest of the afternoon. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back.
Spot on service, succinct atmosphere, and stimulating food. Brave offering the Octopoda. I could have eaten the whole octopus, two delicious tentacles only got us started. Charcuterie was just shy of perfect. We love you guys and appreciate what you bring to the area. We'll be back. =M&N= Cheshire
I had a fantastic lunch with my out of town visitors. The location is a bit of a drive from Eugene but it was definitely worth it. We had some amazing dishes and wonderful service; everyone was friendly and professional. The view is absolutely gorgeous, I definitely recommend a visit for those from out of town and those living in the area.
I brought out of town guests and they were delighted with the service and food quality. Also the setting was admired by them as it reminded them of Italy. Thank you for providing an excellent venue for visitors.
We were treated royally by our server, Ashley. For a brief time, we were the only diners seated in the private dining room with a roaring fire and a a view out to the now bare vines. The sky was blue and the outside air crisp. Our meal was delicious and we ate a unhurried lunch as we chatted. I have also been to King Estate Restaurant in the summer and found dining outside on the patio to be delightful.
A fall day in front of a fireplace, with gorgeous vineyards in view. Lovely wine flight and excellent food, with great company--Wonderful!
Truely Wonderful. What more can you say!! We brought family visiting from Las Vegas and they loved the drive to the property and the food. Great.
Food was very good, especially the Nicoise salad. But none of the other dishes (chicken soup with wild rice, porchetta tonnata, seafood stew) was outstanding, meaning that I wouldn't order any of them again. Attentive service and wonderful atmosphere. Would gladly return for a special occasion.
What a great venue for a special occasion like my birthday! We were seated in the small room directly opposite the fireplace. It was especially cozy on a chilly fall night. The service was friendly and the food was fantastic. Among the four of us we tried the lamb chops, the filet and the salmon. All were prepared to perfection with the imagination one would expect at a high end restaurant. We also tried a trio of salads, and, while they were excellent, caution is advised because they are HUGE. The desserts are wide ranging and my creme brulee was expertly presented and as good as it gets. We tapped a 6 year old bottle of viognier for the wine. It was spectacularly smooth and enjoyed by all. King Estate restaurant is a "do not miss" in the Eugene/Springfield area.
Had THE BEST bday brunch here! Andie was our server. What a doll! The food was insane. From the charcuterie board, the homemade pumpkin chocolate bread, the scallops (my fave) to the yummy crepe brûlée! You can’t go wrong here. The view even in the rain was outstanding! Ask to sit in the private dining room by the fireplace!! Thanks again sweet Andie! You were the BEST!!
had lunch at king estate prior to a U of O football game. Food was very good, nice selection of their own wines in glass pours. Server was friendly and efficient. We like this restaurant a lot.
Excellent in every way! I look forward to returning in the very near future!
#1 destination in Eugene, Oregon. Incredible wine, locally sourced and outstanding food, incredible views, meticulously maintained. The restaurant services is outstanding as well. Highly recommend a visit whether it's for tasting, dining, or sightseeing.
