King Estate Restaurant
Outside seating is on a first-come-first-served basis and all reservations are for inside tables.
This is an expensive restaurant, but worth it for something special. It is a gorgeous place and I am sure is lovely in the summer as the view is amazing. The inside atmosphere is very nice and elegant, yet cozy too.
The service was perfect and the food was outstanding. It was for my husband's 80th birthday and they let him choose any desert on the house. We are anxious to go back for lunch so we can enjoy the view.
Great way to stay out of town for a fancy meal. It is a must see.
This was a perfect setting for great food, conversation, and wine tasting. Our server was outstanding and all of the staff made us feel pampered. Everyone took such good care of our group and made it a truly special experience. We are planning on making it an annual holiday gathering. Thank you!!!
Good food and service, nice setting. Way, way too expensive for the quality.
Great food, great service & beautiful location!
My husband and I have a ‘family tradition’ of dinner at King Estate on Christmas Eve. This is our third year and as always the staff is friendly and attentive, the food excellent and the atmosphere welcoming and festive. We will definitely keep this tradition up next year!
Wonderful from beginning to end! Great food, great wine, knowledgeable staff and excellent service.
A great upscale dinner. Incredible wines paired with an expertly prepared menu of local, seasonal food. Apps to desserts were all phenomenal; a very formal room with refreshingly unstuffy/down to earth staff. Beautiful views and stunning scenery. Overall a meal and experience you won't be able to forget.
We have dinner at King Estate on special occasions, and are always very happy with the food, service, ambiance and the view. This place gives the area class.
This was a return visit. Food was not what it has been. Food was good, but decidedly overpriced. It is also quite strange that King Estate sells their own wine on the premises for more than what it can be purchased elsewhere. Not only is their per glass charge extremely high, but their bottle sales are 40% - 50% above what the same exact variety/label and vintage can be purchased elsewhere. I will likely return, as it is a nice place to take that special someone, but I would go more frequently if the prices were reasonable.
Exceptional quality dining in a lovely venue. I have always a fan of the ambiance at King Estates. The menu is lovely and staff is the best!
Came here for lunch with a client, and everything was flawless. None of the three of us had been here previously, and were just so impressed with everything. Andi, our waitress, was just as flawless and perfect as the rest of the afternoon. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back.
Spot on service, succinct atmosphere, and stimulating food. Brave offering the Octopoda. I could have eaten the whole octopus, two delicious tentacles only got us started. Charcuterie was just shy of perfect. We love you guys and appreciate what you bring to the area. We'll be back. =M&N= Cheshire
I had a fantastic lunch with my out of town visitors. The location is a bit of a drive from Eugene but it was definitely worth it. We had some amazing dishes and wonderful service; everyone was friendly and professional. The view is absolutely gorgeous, I definitely recommend a visit for those from out of town and those living in the area.
I brought out of town guests and they were delighted with the service and food quality. Also the setting was admired by them as it reminded them of Italy. Thank you for providing an excellent venue for visitors.
We were treated royally by our server, Ashley. For a brief time, we were the only diners seated in the private dining room with a roaring fire and a a view out to the now bare vines. The sky was blue and the outside air crisp. Our meal was delicious and we ate a unhurried lunch as we chatted. I have also been to King Estate Restaurant in the summer and found dining outside on the patio to be delightful.
A fall day in front of a fireplace, with gorgeous vineyards in view. Lovely wine flight and excellent food, with great company--Wonderful!
Truely Wonderful. What more can you say!! We brought family visiting from Las Vegas and they loved the drive to the property and the food. Great.
Food was very good, especially the Nicoise salad. But none of the other dishes (chicken soup with wild rice, porchetta tonnata, seafood stew) was outstanding, meaning that I wouldn't order any of them again. Attentive service and wonderful atmosphere. Would gladly return for a special occasion.
What a great venue for a special occasion like my birthday! We were seated in the small room directly opposite the fireplace. It was especially cozy on a chilly fall night. The service was friendly and the food was fantastic. Among the four of us we tried the lamb chops, the filet and the salmon. All were prepared to perfection with the imagination one would expect at a high end restaurant. We also tried a trio of salads, and, while they were excellent, caution is advised because they are HUGE. The desserts are wide ranging and my creme brulee was expertly presented and as good as it gets. We tapped a 6 year old bottle of viognier for the wine. It was spectacularly smooth and enjoyed by all. King Estate restaurant is a "do not miss" in the Eugene/Springfield area.
Had THE BEST bday brunch here! Andie was our server. What a doll! The food was insane. From the charcuterie board, the homemade pumpkin chocolate bread, the scallops (my fave) to the yummy crepe brûlée! You can’t go wrong here. The view even in the rain was outstanding! Ask to sit in the private dining room by the fireplace!! Thanks again sweet Andie! You were the BEST!!
had lunch at king estate prior to a U of O football game. Food was very good, nice selection of their own wines in glass pours. Server was friendly and efficient. We like this restaurant a lot.
Excellent in every way! I look forward to returning in the very near future!
#1 destination in Eugene, Oregon. Incredible wine, locally sourced and outstanding food, incredible views, meticulously maintained. The restaurant services is outstanding as well. Highly recommend a visit whether it's for tasting, dining, or sightseeing.
I’ve never had a bad meal at king estates. The restaurant can get very busy on holidays or special occasions (graduation, parent weekend, fathers/Mother’s Day) so plan ahead for those events, but we came for a birthday meal for my father on a Tuesday evening and although we had reservations, they weren’t needed. Only A few small groups throughout the dining area. Our server was polite and attentive, there was a cozy fire going and it was quiet enough to enjoy conversation at the table. Wine was amazing as always and the only thing I can think to critique about the food was the veggies could use more seasoning. The dessert was phenomenal as well.
We have been talking about going for the Brunch menu at King Estate for years and we finally did it! Of course, we knew we wouldn't be disappointed since they have a wonderful dinner menu. We were seated near the fireplace and a window to look at the view. Our food was absolutely wonderful and the wine complemented it nicely. Highly recommend for Brunch or Dinner, a special occasion or just because. Truly a fantastic experience.
Amazing food and ambiance... the chicken and steak were amazing❤️
The location is fabulous with expansive views over the vineyard and the hills beyond. The decor is lovely with an amazing outdoor seating patio (unheated). The prices are very high compared to most local restaurants. Servings are ample, but I found the food to be relatively uninteresting. It was fresh, nutritious and used good local seasonal ingredients.. so what's not to like. I did like the food, but I did not love it enough for the prices to go there unless someone else is treating.
Food, service and setting were all excellent. We had the perfect inside table for enjoying the lovely fall scenery! Outside seating looked interesting as well, but we were not dressed for a cool evening outside. While the menu was not wildly inventive, the soup, salad and our king salmon entrees were superbly prepared. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a pleasant dinner in this fairly remote area. It is certainly worth the drive from Eugene and surrounding areas when you are seeking both ambience and well prepared, recognizable entrees with local wines!
Gabe hosted us for wine tasting. We learned a lot! Dinner was yummy!!!
Riley has waited on me twice and is always pleasant!
An afternoon at King Estate on the outdoor patio basking in the sun while enjoying friends, wine and a lovely meal— what's not to like! The journey and the destination make going to King Estate a treat that satisfies.
We love King Estates! Our recent visit was for entertaining out of town guests. It really exemplifies the best this area has to offer: amazing view, upscale yet relaxed atmosphere, local wines to try as well as yummy farm to table dinner options. One of our guests thought the portions were small for the price. My sister and I both chose the rack of lamb, which was so delicious!
Simply fabulous and can’t recommend it highly enough. Budget a long lazy afternoon for this gem
We came here for my mom's 84th birthday; she is very picky about food and ambiance and both she and my dad were very impressed! We did a bit of wine tasting before the dinner, and loved the view before and after the meal.
We thought this resteraunt was amazing. Best in Eugene
Always a treat! Excellent service, delightful menu!
We had only eaten outdoors, but chilly weather forced us inside--and we loved it, table by fireplace, quiet, very, very good food. Reformulating this as a place to go beyond the beyond-fabulous view patio dining.
An incredibly beautiful setting, excellent ambiance and attentive, friendly staff. Try and get there to experience the sunset!
Really a nice experience at King Estate. Do yourself a favor, and start with a tasting in the tasting room - there were several specials, but I ultimately settled on the fillet, which was excellent! Also had a 20 year old glass of Pinot Noir that was divine - servers were all great, it was a really nice evening.
