My experience at king + Duke was simply amazing. The staff was polite and courteous. My server Cody was patient and attentive. The food came out in a timely manner, The decor and ambience was comforting. The food was delicious.
Great service and delicious food. Conveniently located with validated valet parking.
Sunday night, not very crowded. Friendly staff, but, service slow and food slower to arrive. Prices a bit high for Atlanta ($51 duck entree) in a casual setting, and food was cold when served. Skipped dessert. 10+ minutes waiting to sign check after giving cc added insult. Too many choices in Atlanta for me to recommend this one.
King and Duke was amazing to work with for our event! They ended up putting us in a private room and provided excellent service for our friend's baby shower. Once the food started arriving at the table, I was sure we picked the right place to have this shower. I had the beet salad, biscuits and apple muffins. They were all amazing!
I'd recommend this place for the food AND the service!
This is one of our FAVORITE places to eat. The food is always amazing with GREAT service. Such a unique atmosphere, it is always a pleasure to dine here!
First time visiting loved the decor , portion size very generous, and the Lead Lady of the House Annie Bradley made sure our experience was spectacular. Repeat Customer, Check.
We enjoyed a fantatsic brunch at King & Duke! We were in Atlanta from Fort Worth Texas to attend a concert. This restaurant popped up on Trip Advisor ,and was near our hotel. The portions were more than we could eat and each item we ordered was top notch. We wish we lived in Atlanta as we would frequent King & David more often and would have taken what we didnt eat home to enjoy later. We ordered the cinnamon rolls (2 were served), biscuits with butter and honey (three were served), french toast, and the mash with potatoes, braised short ribs, poached egg and onion. TWe really hope that the couple sitting next to us ate our last biscuit.. we offered...they were tempted! This meal was ample and would have easily served 4 adults for a satisfying Sunday morning brunch.
The Heritage pork chop is the best ever! Big enough for 2 to share. The best was so tender and moist. My husband was craving good pork chop and this place over delivered! I will return for sure when I get the chance to return to Buckhead.
Our server Jenae was excellent. She went above and beyond to provide the perfect anniversary dinner for us.
King + Duke is consistently one of the best in Atlanta!
Freezing cold room; even host and server agreed it was too cold. When we asked for a warmer spot, we were told it was all cold. The restaurant was almost empty when we dined at 1:15 on a Thursday, but it still took more than 20 minutes for our soups to arrive. We were disappointed that some of our favorites had been removed from the lunch menu, but what we did order was delicious. Maybe back, maybe not.
Unusual and tasty food choices.
Everything about the restaurant is top notch, except for the amount of time that it took for the food to come out. We were on the early side of dinner service with maybe a third of the restaurant full and the food took well over an hour to come out. We had five entrees. Food was delicious, drinks were delicious, service was impeccable, but the food took way too long. Will come back and hope that the food comes out a bit quicker.
Usually love this place but very disappointed by the food. Ordered the 5 egg omelet and it came out incorrect (which is totally fine). However, when they had it remade and it came back to the table it looked very unappetizing. It was very messy with cheese melted everywhere and it just looked very unappetizing. Kitchen should have taken more time in remaking especially since I had to wait longer anyway.
We had a great experience for our first anniversary!!
So, my wife and I have a six month old baby girl--we used to frequent places like King + Duke. It had been awhile since we have had freedom to enjoy a night out. Tonight was the first date-night in a good while. We had a reservation at 8:30. We arrived 30 minutes prior and had a very pleasant time at the bar. Eventually, we moved to our table and Dwayne, our server, greeted us promptly. I asked him for suggestions for a starter and they were spot on--the lobster fritters are delicious. We ordered our food--my wife the duck and the lamb ribs for me. Dwyane also suggested the acorn squash as a side--it was mind-blowingly good. Two fantastic suggestions from him. My wife's duck was amazing as well. Unfortunately, the lamb ribs were so burnt that the bones broke when I tried to separate them. Within five minutes of figuring this out, a manager asked how our meal was unprompted. I hate to complain but showed him the ribs and he said they never should have made it out of the kitchen. He asked me if I would like them to prepare the same thing or something other in it's place. I opted for the duck. He then said he would be taking both off our bill--above and beyond service. Dwyane continued to be a stellar server and apologize even though it most certainly was not his doing. We finished our meal, paid, and made sure to tip our server extra for his great service and the food that was removed from our bill. Even though something went wrong with the meal, King + Duke was so classy in rectifying the situation, that I feel more strongly about their establishment.
It was fine. Food was a bit overpriced for the quality. We ordered the $16 shrimp appetizer which came with 5 pieces of shrimp. The shells were extremely hard to peel off. Unusually hard.
Service was the STAR. Our server went above and beyond to make sure our experience was exceptional. Food was phenomenal with great flavor from the hearth. Only complaint: no room for dessert!
Great service and food! Can’t wait to go back!
Great service and food
A great combination of solid food, libations, service and ambiance. Brunch portions are quite large. The Bloody Mary was notably excellent.
The food was awesome. This is our new favorite spot..
Our waitress Lauren was absolutely superb. From start to finish, she made our meal feel so special - from suggestions, to stories, she kept us engaged the entire time. We left the table feeling like she welcomed us in to her own restaurant and served us some of her favorite food.
We had the lamb ribs to start and the mushroom risotto. My friend had the duck which was prepared perfectly and we also ordered the chicken, also very good.
The downfall is that the dishes do not come with sides so you need to order them separately.
A great lunch experience, convenient Buckhead shops location.
Great experience and outstanding food
Came for my birthday with my husband... recommended by a good from who used to live in Buckhead, and y’all did not disappoint. The food was amazing, we had such a great time! Cameron was our server and he was wonderful!
Came here for brunch. Love the ambience and their private room is so IG envy. Lovely fried chicken with biscuit and gravy 👌
We sat at the bar and sampled several things off the appetizer menu and then order our entrées and I must say between the service and the food the night was amazing.
Nice place to have a dinner outside or in. Help was outstanding.
Very accommodating with our large group of 14. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful evening. Our server Jonathan was amazing!
Service was really impressive. Took my wife and a few friends for her 40th birthday.
Food - The apps were very good. We did the two feast options on the menu which were a large bone in steak and a whole Turbot fish. I was a little disappointed in that the steak was more medium well than medium rare, which we ordered. I also thought the fish was just okay. The potato side dish was actually very good and probably our favorite of the entree course.
Our server was super friendly and helpful. Also offered some complimentary bubbles with dessert for my wife’s birthday, which was a nice surprise.
I’d definitely recommend again, but would probably steer people from the feast options unless they were better.
I have to admit it had been while since I’d dined at King + Duke... well that will soon change! It was a lovely experience. Our table of seven (for a friend’s birthday dinner) had a delicious meal. Our server, Cameron, was great! He even presented the birthday girl with a card signed by all of the servers! That is just one example of the top notch customer service that we experienced. Aside from the attentive staff, the food was divine. We also enjoyed the delicious cocktails and well-curated wine selections. Thank you so much for such a lovely evening. ❤️
Great food and wonderful staff.
Exceptional service and food.
Great atmosphere. The chicken was good but was cooked in a lot of oil and rosemary. Greasy. And it was unclear from the menu that sides are ordered separately.
The food there is amazing. A new twist on old favorites. The service was also superb!!! Our waiter, Brian was fabulous!
Great brunch! Get the short rib hash... it is amazing! The service is great as well. Sit outside if it's not too hot out!
Excellent service. We had a big table with 3 babies it can be a little overwhelming with them but the servers were great and the children LOVED everything we gave them. The food was phenomenal
Loved everything about this place . Each and every aspect of the experience was top notch!
