Kincaids is one of our favorite restaurants. We recommend the crab cake eggs benedict for brunch.
We have attended Easter Brunch at Kincaid's several years ago and this year it was really affirming to know that nothing has changed. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is calming, and the wait staff are always friendly, they make you feel so welcomed. It will be on our list for next year.
Great food, excellent service
Wonderful service, great food
Lovely environment with diners spaced way out. Service with the right amount of attentiveness. Cobb salad chick was tough. The rest of the salad was good but not outstanding as I had expected.
Great service, wonderful food and time to catch up with dear friends.
Steaks were amazing. Smaller menu but they are getting the regular one back in a week or so.
A++++ all the way around
We love the food.
We had an amazing dinner. Hadn’t been out to dinner since the start of covid and we could not have had a better experience.
Love this place.
It was our first indoor dining since the pandemic. Kincaids were very thoughtful about seating and hygiene I was disappointed that their wonderful herbed prime rib was gone at 6:30 but the filets made up for it
Great location, great food, great service. A win-win
We had a Wonderful lunch! Great food and ambiance!
excellent food and service. expensive, but it's a special occasion type of place for us.
Great meal, great service, Wynn and the team was fantastic .
The space is great. The food is of high quality and the service was prompt and responsive.
The food was good. The steaks were exceptionally prepared. The scallops weren’t as expected, but they were spot on to the menu description. Just not in our flavor wheelhouse. They were good. The service was also very good and made our event special. I look forward to returning.
Lovely experience! We were doing a late celebration of our anniversary and they even gave us a "to die for" dessert. Wait staff was great and food always fabulous.
Visited to celebrate my wife's birthday and was not disappointed. Food was excellent (we had the halibut special and salmon), service great and the server amiable and charming. Have not been to Kincaid's for a long time and will start going again!
Excellent as always. Thanks for staying in St. Paul.
They did a great a great job social distancing guests. We were there celebrating a birthday, which we stated in the reservation and was never acknowledged. Its amazing how terrible service can ruin a meal...we werent told about specials, our drinks were never refilled, and we were never asked how our meal was. Sadly its too expensive to have a redo.
Service was great and the food was delicious! I ordered the rack of ribs and they were delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. Would definitely come back here for date night.
Service was good. Food is was mediocre, in composition and presentation. Wife’s Alfredo was very oily. My New York steak was adequate, but mashed potatoes were humdrum and the asparagus overcooked. Wasn’t crowded, though noise level of music was high. Felt more like a TGI Fridays than a fine dining establishment. With 3 glasses of house cab, one salad and one dessert, bill was over $150. Expected more for the $$$.
Enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner at Kincaids! Great service and food!
As always, the food and service were great.
Given the recent limitations on dining, I can't fault Kincaid's, but you should be aware that they no longer validate parking.
We were quite disappointed to find out that the points we had accumulated on Open Table are no longer good at Kincaid's. What we thought was going to be a bonus free outing turned out to be far from that.
Kincaids did not disappoint. Excellent food and service. The spacing out of diners definitely impacts the ambiance! It is lovely and quiet, but I really did miss the hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant! A wonderful evening for my daughter and I and excellent leftovers for the next day.
Our server was awesome. The food was simply exquisite
The service was friendly but ridiculously slow. The menu is much more limited than it was in previous visits (pre-COVID), but everything we tried was delicious as always. Would like to see them bring back a lunch menu for business lunches.
It was such a joy to be in a restaurant again (after vaccination) . The service was excellent. The food good and the atmosphere was lovely.
Celebrated a birthday and anniversary. Food and service was excellent.
The menu was tiny, the food was mediocre, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and the service was interesting to say the least. Hoping some of this was due to the pandemic but I won’t be returning.
Dry, overcooked salmon.
Great food and value, ambiance was nice as usual. The value really stuck out this time after being to other chop houses recently in last year
Absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing, service was top notch, and the atmosphere was delightful. We went for a friend's birthday and it was the perfect balance of sophisticated and comfortable. Would recommend this place to anyone!
Food, drinks, and service was awesome. Definitely recommend and would go back.
It was great. I enjoyed it very much.
We had a 7pm reservation and got there right at 7 but we weren't seated until 7:15pm. However, I think they were super overwhelmed with all the online/pickup orders so it didn't really bother us much. Other than that, the service and the food was phenomenal (as it always is!).
COVID closure was rough on Kincaids. Reserved a valentines dinner with my spouse. Was a very cold night with first seating offered by the hostess in the bar area. She quickly recovered our dismay and offered a nice quiet table - amply spaced. Had rather early seating and was disappointed with one special appetizer being sold out forcing a double serving of small - but tasty prawns. Was not clear what cut of filet was being offered - but menu suggested it was fish rather than beef. Medium rare filet was more medium/overcooked and both were heavily/over salted and not for someone with any health condition. Heavily disappointed with asparagus on menu being substituted without warning in serving by brussel sprouts (difficult to digest). Maitre d did a nice job recovering the mis-representation - and picking up the tab, but the overall meal did not contribute to the anticipated nice evening out at a fine restaurant. Hopefully the St Paul Kincaid's after being open a while will return to our same expectations as we have often experienced with the other restaurant location in Bloomington. Better luck next time.
We have been to both Kincaid’s in St. Paul and Bloomington multiple times. We decided to venture out to the St. Paul location for Valentine’s Day and were very disappointed.
The food was good as usual however the were sold out of some items from the Valentine’s Day menu and our reservation was at 5:30pm. They were very busy with take our orders which must be why they sold out. Instead we just ordered off the regular menu.
The disappointing part was the service.
The hostesses were too busy with take out orders to be attentive enough to those of us dining in.
Not once did our server stop to ask about our meal. We had an issue with one of the glasses of wine we ordered and it could have been easily resolved, however, we didn’t have anyone to complain to because our server never came to our table.
They did a good job social distancing tables, which also meant capacity was reduced and servers had less tables to attend to. We can honestly not understand why our server vanished.
It’s very unfortunate because one expects more from a nice restaurant like this. Specially on Valentine’s Day.
