Rick was our waiter and he was absolutely AMAZING. Best dinner we’ve had in years. We will be returning as soon as we can!
very nice waitress
The location was nice, food was amazing, and our server was really friendly 👍.
Rick was great!!!
Anniversary dinner it was a lovely evening. Our meal was delicious. Everyone from when we arrived made us feel special. The Lavendar Martini was especially delicious.
Great night, always great food.
It was restaurant week. Fabulous menu. Probably the best chicken dish I have ever had!
Delicious food, awesome service and a great overall experience! Would go back in a heartbeat!!
.Classic and Classy dinner experience.
Fantastic service and Great food.
Rick is truly the best. I don’t leave reviews EVER but Rick has been our server repeatedly by request for a reason. We have never been treated has well or even had a waiter get to know us to the point we don’t even need menus. As a mom, I appreciate not having to make another decision when dining out for a relaxing evening with my husband. So “Thank You” Rick from the bottom of our hearts”!!!
We were celebrating my boyfriend’s 40th birthday and I put a note in the reservation to let them know and they took very good care of us! Our server Bjorn was amazing!! Food was awesome as well! I loved my steak and my boyfriend said the ribs were fantastic! Thank you for taking great care of us, we will be back!!
We took advantage of the Restaurant Week Selections. Although some places I have visited in the past during Restaurant Week offered a small sampling of items, that was not the case at this place. Everything on this menu sounded delicious. All three of us decided to get the 10 oz prime rib which was served with mashed potatoes and asparagus after a Caesar Salad for two of us and NE Clam Chowder for me. Although they enjoyed the salad they thought it contained too much garlic. My soup was wonderful. I savored the small bowl topped with bacon and ate every bit of it with the delicious bread supplied. The prime rib was cooked to a medium rare perfection and melted in our mouths. The tasty 3 course meal ended with key lime pie, not too tart, creamy with a yummy graham cracker crust. It was such a treat to eat a great meal in a safe environment. It was our first dinner out since the pandemic began. We will go back!
Great food and terrific service. Kincaid’s is a very special place.
We came for Restaurant Week. The old fashion cocktail was excellent as was the prime rib. The salmon was dry and overcooked as were the fingerling potatoes. The key lime pie and cream brûlée were also very good. The service was attentive but unobtrusive.
The atmosphere at Kincaid's was excellent. From the knowledge of our server (and his overall demeanor) to the great spacing per group to the excellent food. Between the Crab and Artichoke Dip, the Prime Rib, Charred Filet Mignon, and the Salmon on special, everyone loved the flavor and the way everything was prepared. Highly recommend.
Kincaid's made our anniversary special - the staff was sincerely interested in our event and made sure, from the front door to dessert, all was perfect.
Excellent. Great service and great food. A++++
Friendly and efficient staff. Delicious food and drinks.
Excellent in every way. Laura did a fantastic service and we enjoyed ourselves - 2 birthdays celebrated. Well done.
Excellent wine recommendation from our waiter tonight.
We celebrated our anniversary at Kincaids in downtown St. Paul this past week. We had requested patio seating, and were pleasantly surprised that we were able to get one of the four tables available on the patio. We started with cocktails, shared a ceasar salad, thoroughly enjoyed our entrees of the Halibut special and the beef filet and ended our meal with a complementary serving of creme brulette (SP?). We enjoyed all of our courses, as they were expertly prepared, and served efficiently by the serving staff. The only glitch we experienced was the lack of a basket of bread. Neither my wife or I had eaten at a Kincaid's in over 20 years, but we both agreed that we would return when we wanted to celebrate a special occasion.
We have been coming here for years, but this was our first time since the pandemic. It was on Monday night and sparsely attended. We were joined by another couple and it felt like we had a private dining room with fabulous food, service and acoustics.
Our server was great. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
It also felt good to support this establishment.
A lovely romantic place for a date night. Excellent service and tables are very well spaced fir safety and privacy. The service is excellent
We had dinner on Saturday Oct 3 in St. Paul. It was our first "dining indoors" experience since COVID. I thought Kincaid's did very well for safety. No one was seated within 18 feet of us. We were very comfortable. Food was good and service excellent.
Originally went here to have some fresh oysters on the shell but it was no longer on their menu. We ordered fish tacos and the catch of the day. Still good. Seemed a little overpriced, not sure if we’ll come back though
My salmon was not Kincaids usual... it was dry & fishy ... My husband's fish and chips was terrible...
our daughterer's filet was outstanding :) as were the potatoes & aspargus...
Our waiter, I believe his name was Dalton?.... was absolutely PERFECT!!! You want to keep that young man...
We've always loved Kincaids... therefore, we would always recommend Kincaid's....
We had very nice service and the food was quite good. The menu is somewhat slimmed down compared to the pre-Covid menu but I that is not surprising.
I have been going to Kincaid’s for many years and never have been disappointed till now. The service was very good but the food was very underwhelming. My fish was burned and tough on one side and raw on the other. For the price this is unacceptable. I hope this was an isolated incident as I have always enjoyed going there
Our first venture to dine in at a restaurant since March when things shut down. It was wonderful! We are so lucky that Kincaid’s in St. Paul is here serving customers and the community, providing a fine dining option for us. The menu is paired down slightly but full list of options and 3 additional specials were also available. I had the halibut special and my husband had the French Dip. Both had salads and creme brûlée for dessert. Plus a wonderful bottle of Northstar Merlot. The food was amazing in taste and preparation and as good if not better than we remembered, the server Rick was the ultimate professional and treated us like we just saw him yesterday, and the restaurant was about at its 50% Covid capacity limit on a Sunday evening, which we were so happy to see. If you are thinking about dining out - and everyone is making their own best decision for them - Kincaid’s is a great choice. We were hesitant at first but felt extremely safe and confident with being there and how they were managing health and safety protocols, and very happy that our experience did not suffer at all as a result. Thank you Kincaid’s St Paul!
Dinner at Kincaid’s in St Paul was a wonderful experience.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The wait person was knowledgeable and very personable. She definitely expressed by her perfect thoughtful service that she wanted us to have a very pleasant dining experience.
In addition, the ambience is perfect and the decor stunning.
We also felt very comfortable with the social distancing. The restaurant graciously placed attractive “reserved for social distancing” signs on each of the tables around us.
I strongly recommend Kincaid’s St Paul !

We love this place for the great drinks, wonderful food and the service is top-notch! They really do a great job to provide outstanding service. Please go eat there. We need to make sure they survive this year! Always fantastic on all levels.
We always enjoy Kincaid's. The food and service were excellent as usual. I'm sure it's a tough time right now but the atmosphere needs some updating. Still a great experience!
We know that COVID-19 has an effect on how restaurants are being managed and operated these days. With that stated, the service was very slow with a scaled back wait staff and the menu was cut down to a quarter or normal offerings and a few items on the menu were not available. This has been one of top restaurants to visit in the past and we are trying to support as many as we can during these struggling times but it was a little disappointing for a family birthday dinner.
Rick was on top of his game again!
Nice to enjoy eat-in-dining again in safe environment and with exceptional service.
A nice evening to eat out on the patio. Salmon special was delicious. The ribs were a little crispier than I prefer but they were good despite that.
We went to Kincaids in celebration of our 46th wedding anniversary. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. The serving was so large, we decided to “appetizer” our way through dinner, rather than order entrees. Second appetizer was an astonishing seared tenderloin with sticky rice and daikon radish . We also received a “celebration” piece of key lime pie. Service was excellent, but could probably be expected on a Monday night with COVID-19 capacity restrictions.
Everything from the amazing food to the outstanding service was perfect. Thank you for everything!
Classy atmosphere and location but daytime comfortable. First time at St Paul location. I think I favor St Paul for decor and setting! Always deliver on food and beverages!
Even though the menu was smaller than pre-Covid times, there were still some great options. Our server was kind and helpful. We loved everything we ate and drank.
